The Old Weathers Field Shop Keepers Association is setting up more than 70 tricked-out bicycles along Main Street from May 1st through May 31st. It's all free, pulling folks into the historic district to check out these creative designs. Kicking things off on Sunday May 3rd, there's a community by parade teamed up with Bike Walk Weathers Field. Riders gather at 10 a.m. at the Keeney Center, roll out at 10.30 a.m. for a flat 30-minute spin through the neighborhood. Everyone's urged to deck out their bikes and rock some themed outfits with limited America, 250 swag up for grabs. This ties right into Connecticut's America 250 commemoration, sparking designs that celebrate the state's history. It's got that community pulse, drawing families and locals to vibe with the art while wandering the biggest historic district around. The whole month stays lively with spots to hit up local shops, eateries, museums, and the waterfront.
