I noticed a heightened interest in the Bible lately. In Psalm 83, David writes “They’ve taken a crafted council against Your people, and they’ve said ‘Come let us cut them off and destroy them as a nation that the name of Israel may no longer be remembered.’ And they have made a covenant and they formed a Confederacy against you and the tents of Eden, and the Ishmaelites (that means the Muslim nations) are coming against Israel.” If you look at the Hamas Covenant (and yes, they use the word “covenant” just like the Psalm says. Hamas has made a covenant to destroy the people of Israel. They have a saying: “First Saturday, then Sunday.” The Jews who worship on Saturday will be destroyed first. The Christians who worship on Sunday will be destroyed next. David told us to be alarmed at this, and to seek God. I think it’s pretty good idea - three thousand years ago, and now.
