And hi there, welcome to the kitchen table, it's great being with you. I was reading here in Matthew chapter 12, something rather interesting, and it's where Jesus went into a synagogue, and as I said here in verse 10, a man was there with the withered hand, and they asked him, is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath? So that they might accuse him, and he said to them, which one of you has a sheep if he falls into a pit on the Sabbath will not hold it and lift it out, and how much more value is a man than a sheep. So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath. Then he said to the man, stretch out your hand, and the man stretched it out, and it was restored, healthy like the other. And I appreciate this about Jesus, how he wants to make his healthy. Thank God. And since here the Pharisees went out and held a prayer meeting and praised God for what
had happened, now it doesn't say that. It says the Pharisees went out and conspired against him, how to destroy him, Matthew 12, 14. Isn't that the way it is? It's the same way today, if you're a follower of Jesus, they're going to abuse you too. And if you serve him and lift up his word and serve in the name of Jesus, and wonderful things happen, they shall still turn on you, the religious leaders who have a form of godliness, but deny its power. Then it says here at Matthew 12, 15, aware of this, that they wanted to do this to him. He withdrew from there and many followed him, and he healed them. And that's the way it is even today. You know, you lift up Jesus, and many are going to come to Christ because they respond to his message, they respond to the good news. And they want the real deal, and that's why we should be uncompromising today. Also, be prepared for the fact that we will run into resistance, but greater see that's in you, the need that's in the
world. So that's what I wanted to share with you. There's nothing like the real deal. And I want to lift up Jesus. I want to pray in Jesus name. I want to see those miracles happen. Souls saved people healed, right? Yes. Okay. Well, that's it. That's what I wanted to share with you, and I'll hope to see you next time.
