So, our lead this hour from Canton's city, the home of the Ben Mallor Chicken Fingers. In Kansas City right there, the landing with a great mallor meet and greet, a couple years back, there was awesome. I had a couple of mallor meet and greets in Kansas City

over the years. Well, Travis Kelsey. Yeah, did he retire? No, he did not retire. He did not supposedly the latest is Travis Kelsey and the chiefs are in deep conversation about the plans for the 2026 season. Have you been following this? No, because you have a life. You're not following this. Let me fill you in. So, if you missed it, now, Kansas City expects Travis Kelsey to play supposedly, although they haven't gotten the official word. Oh, the drama. So, they haven't gotten the official word. They want a decision by the end of the week, by the end of the week. And they wanted to say, okay, so good, okay. Now, that would give them, if Kelsey decides to say, X-NAY on the football day, that would give them time to go out and turn over some rocks and try to find another tight end and look at the draft, the 2026 NFL draft,

if they need to find a successor, kind of obvious there. But wait, there's more. As every great infomercial, the late night staple, the classic, but wait, there's more from Ron Popeo, who was supposed to appear on my podcast, and he decided not to do it and then died, how dare him. Anyway, state-funded NFL media. State-funded NFL media tells us that the Chiefs General Manager, Brett Vich, Brett Vich, the GM there. Now, he wants to make sure that Travis Kelsey is all in! If he does end up playing in 2026. So that is a good jumping off point. Let us discuss the question. The Chiefs, according to this report saying they want full commitment from Travis Kelsey for the 2026 NFL season, how are you interpreting this? So I've got

Sapina, Jello Salad, and Dodgeball. And we will combine all of these things together and we are going to have a delicious grilled cheese sandwich, which is what we're going to have with the cheese on the outside and the inside of the grilled cheese. Now, A, looking at the situation in Kansas City, the Chiefs Kingdom, as they call it, from 30,000 feet, looking down here, and then getting a little closer and a little closer, they are going to have a house divided. Oh, the drama. I do, I see a house divided. To me, this one doesn't pass the smell test. Now, to the average consumer, you'll say, wow! What are you talking about, malor? You're a big donkey. You don't know what you're talking about. There is just nothing. I think there is something there,

because I have a better schnauzer than you do. aggressive behavior. It's a power play, power play, if you will, at one arrowhead drive there before they move to Kansas. Now the chief, she am here, Brett, the man of the hour. He's out there playing Mr. Niske. It's good cop bad cop. He's being the nice guy, you know, good cop and all that. However, if you listen between the words, if you read between the lines, a shall we? What do you say here? When the jam, the general management NFL team comes out and announces his list, I need this player to be a thousand percent all in, I need this player to be there. That is not a compliment. That is not a compliment. That is like issuing a subpoena is what it is. It's like, hey, think about seriously, when you peel back the onion, what do you get? You don't have to ask the guy who's already in the gym at six in the morning if he's committed to the team. So by doing this, the obvious conclusion,

you connect the dots on this one and the obvious connection is that this, you ask this guy, who spent the last couple of years jet setting, whether it was the era's tour, traveling around the globe, game show, cheesy game shows, bad acting with Adam Sandler, all that stuff. Right? And he spent more time, got more miles, more air miles than he did yards. His numbers say a lead balloon. I was not good. It was not good. So, you know, you look at the tight end, 2025 Travis Kelsey was not good enough. He was multitasking and the brand and all that stuff. And so the, the chiefs, if you want to get next level traumatic, they're in the swifty standoff, if you will, whoo, because that big celebrity wedding coming up in the spring here. And we're all, I mean, not that far away, right? We're closing in on that. And so they,

they need the tailor effect, the business side, they need that, right? The balance sheet says, let's go for it. Let's do it. The football side. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The football side sees a 36 year old or something like that asset that's running on fumes, you know, whatever Kelsey is, he's getting up there. And the GM's essentially saying the way I use the mallard Dakota ring, the general manager bread beach there is essentially saying, hey, Travis, yeah, it's me, the GM and the chiefs, okay, hey, what's going on? The rock star live or the first hubby of the rock star life, that can wait, right? So either you'll put the glitter away, put the glitter away, hit the, hit the weights and all that stuff or go be the first hubby full time. You know, it's an awkward pickle is what it is. There's never really a good pickle. So it's an awkward pickle, but Kansas City, you know, they want the afterglow, the chiefs. They want to continue this

as long as they can of the tailor's swift effect. However, they need an upgrade on the field. That's the problem. That's the conundrum. That's the conundrum right there. It's time to decide, you know, Hall of Fame career, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I hadn't been a Hall of Fame level player the last couple of years though, Kelsey. And so what are you going to do? What are you going to do? All right. Meanwhile, speaking of what are you going to do? Now, when I saw this, I thought, well, this must be satire, this story out of Minnesota. Well, there's a lot of stories out of Minnesota that make me roll my eyes, but this one in particular, the so the Vikings are window shopping for a savvy veteran starting quarterback, at least a former starting quarterback. So they, they know they need some insurance. They need a little bit of insurance there. For McCarthy, I actually need a lot of insurance for JJ McCarthy, not a little bit of a lot of insurance for JJ McCarthy. And they, the story that was very arrogant was like, wow, they

think that they're, they've got such great coaches and they've got Justin Jefferson that they can pretty much bring in any schmo and whatever dingleberry they pick will put up big numbers and lead them to victory because that they've got talent and they've got coaching and all that stuff. And the name that popped up here, the name that popped up, I saw that, you see this? No. Geno Smith. Geno Smith. Is that not comedy gold? My god. So good. Yeah, the Raiders Corps. So the quarterback Geno Smith, who was not very good in Seattle and approved. He wasn't very good with the Raiders. And he is a person of interest for the purple people, eaters. All right, question. So the Vikings, if you believe the chatter are interested in

Raiders quarterback Geno Smith, who will likely be released, better known as fired from his job there in Vegas. So how does that taste? How does that take the fact that the Vikings are being connected? Get your skull out right now to Geno Smith. So you're telling me that's the grand plan. Come on. Like, that's the big Nordic reboot in Minnesota. This is what you're going to do. And you got JJ McCarthy. Well, we're going to bring in Geno Smith. Really? Is that right? You know what that tastes like? That tastes like liver worst and in jello salad is what it tastes like, right? It's stomach turning. It's absolute stomach turning. It's puking your mouth. And I got nothing. I got nothing. I'm not a Viking guy or anything like that. I don't have a Viking fan. I have friends in Minnesota and all that, but my god. Like, this is so over the top. You want to believe that this was one of those stories that was put out there by the agent, hoping that it leads to something, right? That the agent leaked it. And that says, Hey, float the Minnesota

connected to Geno Smith. Maybe someone will bite their in Minnesota and say, that's a good idea. Now the alternative is also redoculous Kyler Murray. Yep. Fun sized quarterback Kyler Murray. He comes with a booster seat. If you get him in a trade, the cardinals will throw that in the booster seat. So there is that. Do you imagine choosing, if those are your options, you've got Kyler Murray and Geno Smith. So what I rather have the mutant fungus, which is over here, or do I want the bubonic plague bacteria, which is over here? Which one would I like? That is such a horrific combo dish. If those are your options, you're considering if you're the Vikings, my unsolicited advice would be to go out and get Kurt Cousins and bring him back. Not that he's any good, but I'd rather have him than Geno Smith or Kyler Murray. At least he likes football, unlike Kyler Murray. And Geno Smith

just bad. At least occasionally Kurt Cousins is halfway decent. Geno Smith, you think about his signature mom with the Raiders. It was giving the bird to Raider fans. That was it. And then in Seattle, his signature moment was after the first game he played against the Broncos when he gave this big speech about how nobody believed in me and all that. And then the rest of his time in Seattle proved that those people were right by being a middling quarterback. That's so good. Anyway, so that's what we are. That's where we are. Yeah. With Geno Smith on the pocket collapses. He is gift-rapting turnovers. It's like he's Santa Claus there. You get a turnover. You get a turnover. You get a turnover. Good luck on that. And the decision making, which melts faster than the ice over there on Lake Minnetonka in April. And he's been bad, Geno Smith. Last year was like the new level of bad. He was a new level of bad. Fewer yards, more interceptions. The team was terrible. He was

horrific. So they say, well, he's a bridge quarterback. I love him. Geno Smith is a bridge quarterback. It's a draw bridge to nowhere with a hole in it. And that's the kind of draw bridge quarterback. He's meanwhile, to Motown, we go, we got a trade. We got a trade hours after. We did a mall or mall or at least part of a mall or monologue about David Montgomery. He's a running back. David Montgomery. He's been traded. By bye to Detroit. I didn't want to be traded. Lions trading running back. David Montgomery to the Houston Texans for offensive lineman juice Scroggs. Any relation to newy Scroggs? I don't know. Juice Scroggs and a couple of draft fix. Nothing really worth our time of fourth round pick. If you're into fourth round draft fix, I recommend a nice therapist is what I recommend. Also a seventh round draft. Well, that's even better. And that's not till 2027. So my Montgomery on the move. Question. Who got the

better of this David Montgomery trade between the lions and the Texans? So after eight minutes long deliberation of the available information, I've seen some people say, well, the lions got the better of the trade. I'm like, really? I didn't see it that way. It's cute. Like the whole trade. It's not a big trade or anything like that. I'm going to talk about it for a couple minutes because we talked about David Montgomery in a previous episode of the show. This comes after he had said that he, the report was he wanted out of Detroit. And he said, he refuted that report. And then hours later, he's trading. And so the winner's corner, to me, the arrow is pointing towards Houston. It's a slight lean. It's not like this is going to change all that much. But the slight lean there, David Montgomery is not some spare part that Houston found in the trunk next to the spare tire. It's not that. The moment. And this is what really leaned it the direction of the Texans for me. The moment I saw

the messaging from the lions front office, the whispers of salary cap relief. And we saved some money getting rid of David Montgomery. That is called playing dodgeball with the truth. And anytime I hear a team say we got rid of this player because of the salary cap, I know bullcrap. I know it's bullcrap. It's the magic phrase that you can use to justify anyone leaving your team. Anything that maybe will be deemed unpopular might be unpopular. It's the perfect boogie man. You go, yeah, but a salary cap, you have it, you have it, the rabbit rabbit, you have it, salary cap, salary cap and then dumb people. They just believe it. They accept it. They move on. And they say that's that. And do I think Detroit believes that my government is cooked? Absolutely. They didn't want to say that. So when they say they say, ah, salary cap relief. No, they thought he was still good. He'd be on the team. They think he's

done. Do you trust the Detroit Lions? Do they know what they're doing? Do they know? I would think he can still be at least a short yardage coal line guy and get touchdowns that way and be a wrecking ball type running back. Dave and my government, he's 29 next season. So the the Lions, again, the cap excuse. This is just my default programming. When you hear the cap excuse, dead, get white, dead, get white, that they are reshaping the narrative. They're they're manipulating the narrative to fit it because they're a little scared. I was like, ah, we just say the salary cap, salary cap, salary cap, salary cap, salary cap, salary cap. All right. So the Texans traded also. They're off the offensive line when they traded according to the the scouting report. Juice Sugs. The cops on him are an orange traffic cone would be as effective. So that's good luck. I'm sure he's a nice good name. I don't know if we can play him. We don't really break down

offensive lineman other than the draft or when they're terrible. And he sounds, accordingly, what I read, he was not very good. I come down. We have other things playing, but I wanted to start with basketball. I thought this was interesting. The story out of the Bay Area, as the Golden State Warriors are morphing back to the Adonyl foil Warriors.

Whereas Mike Montgomery, bring him back as the coach. My God, horrific, horrific. The Warriors were leading the Clippers at one point by 17. They ended up getting out to work by 27 points in the second half on a random, random Monday night got smoked by the People's Team, and the Clippers ended up winning that game going away. Now, Steph Curry is some chatter. He's going to be shut down for another couple of days. And there's a talk that he's not going to play again this year. What's the point by the time he gets back? The Warriors are going to be char broiled. It's a mess. It's a mess. So if you haven't heard the latest, though, on how to fix the mess in San Francisco and the adjacent area there. So if you have not, as the world turns in Pro Bouncy Ball, who are Steph Curry and Dremon Green expected to put a full court press on to try to recruit? Ding, ding, ding, ding. Yes, LeBron James LeBron James.

Come on down LeBron. Come on down. Yes, there you go. As much sourdough bread as you want. Come on down. You need any fentanyl. Just go to any where you want. Well, you're in LA. You can get fentanyl there too. But there come to San Francisco LeBron. Come on, man. What's not what's not to like about that? So as LeBron, most think is done with the Lakers. He'll be leaving at the end of the year. And he enters the free agent marketplace. The rumblings are that Steph Curry and Dremon Green, who's already buddies. Dremon's buddy buddy with LeBron, right? They love each other. Yeah, best friends. So they're going to put the pressure on LeBron to come play in Northern California. So that is a good jumping off point. Let's play some make-believe sports talk radio. What do you say? That's fun, right? All right, so let's discuss the question. What would LeBron James going to Golden State look like with Steph Curry and Dremon Green? So I've got Gira Dele, Peekaboo, and Marie Antoinette.

And we will combine all of these things together and we are going to go ABC and one, two, three. But you always have to start with number one. Number one. I said number one. Number one. So it would look like a remake of a film that's already been remade at least once, if not twice. You remember, this came out about 10 years ago. There was a film called Going in Style. Do you remember that was a bank heist movie? You don't remember that? Yeah, so it had Morgan Freeman and Michael Cain were the headliners in that movie and some other old dude. But you know, they went around and they robbed banks. A bunch of legends, in this case, instead of going in style, it would be, let me bring my AARP card in terms of at least basketball. And you'd have LeBron, Steph, and Dremon Green. Rolling down Lombard Street in a rented convertible, yelling, we still got it.

We still got it. No, you don't. We still got it. No, you don't. And in football, if you're an old timer, there was a team called the Washington Redskins that had a big fan base, one super balls. And then the wokesters said, you can't be called that. So they changed the name. Now nobody knows who's on the team. Nobody knows who the team is. But they used to be all the Redskins. And there's coach who loved old time plays. He brought all his old players from the ramps. Your challenge to the Redskins. And they were nicknamed the Over the Hill gang. So this would be the basketball version of the Over the Hill gang meets the Silicon Valley venture capitalist, be the way to go. And you have three either completely washed up or close to washed up players, trying to chase one last giant bag of Girodele chocolate down near Fisherman's Wharf in Girodele Square. Just trying to get that one last big bag of chocolate. Sounds great. Sounds wonderful. Until someone has a hammy, go whammy. And then it's a problem in the fog.

Their hammy goes whammy right in the fog. It's not good. This, for my purposes, would be a great mitzvah. Think about it. These guys get together. These knuckleheads. Highly combustible situation. Highly combustible situation. If these guys get together, one bad loss. And then a dream mind goes on that podcast. And all of a sudden, he starts ranting. And it's like a hostage situation. It's not right. It's just a mess basketball from a basketball standpoint. It's about as bad as it could possibly get. Three guys trying to outthink father time in the NBA, in the shadow of the Bay Bridge right there. Okay. So we have the opening scene. I have to take a drone shot down the Bay Bridge down and then round where the arena is. That's the opening shot. We do know that LeBron, I don't know if you heard about this, kind of has a big ego.

You didn't know that. Oh my god. You did not know that. Yeah, so LeBron, and to be fair, I think most people like to be recruited. LeBron in particular, to be courted. LeBron James being courted by Steph and Dremon Green, putting the razzle dazzle on these guys and recruiting them to a Cupertino startup, you know, fun raising thing. Hey, LeBron, come out. There's some tech people. Okay, I'll go out. Why not? What the hell? There you go. Now when the dust settles though, I am not changing my position. I am locked in. And I am not changing my position. That all roads for LeBron lead back to Cleveland. That he's going to complete the circle. And you complete the circle by going back there and forcing the calves to take Brony James on. Because that's the only way Brony will stay in the NBA. Otherwise, he'll be never playing other game in the NBA without LeBron. So bring him in there. And the reason you go to Cleveland is even though they got James Hardin,

he'll be gone after this year. But you bring, you bring LeBron in there because they got spite of Mitchell. They got some younger guys. And they're more in the prime ability athletically. So that would be the way to go. Fresher legs generally works out pretty well in that business. The whole warrior thing, the thing I'm a jig with the Golden State Warriors, like you toss LeBron in there. And again, it would be wonderful for my job. Because these guys would be at each other's next. They'd be complete chaos. And chaos is good talk radio. Again, a terrible idea in terms of actually trying to win. But if you're just trying to get headlines, boy, that would be the way to go. Now, page two. To la la land, follow up, follow up story the other night. As LeBron's buddy there who got, they're not really friends. In fact, it looks like they don't like each other at all. But Luka, Luka, Luka, Luka, Luka, Luka, not having a lot of fun right now in Lakerland. Remember those stories that were planted by Luka's people before the year?

He's in the greatest shape of his life. Oh my God, Luka, Luka. Yeah, he was in like the health magazines. He went to a Yankee game, went in the booth with Michael Kay, and they were all bragging and all that. And while the stats are pretty good for Luka, he's not in any of the conversations for the MVP award. And it appears he's not having much fun. He's not having much fun. So we didn't get too much into it in a previous episode of the show. But during a recent Laker game, Luka, Don Chick, and J.J. Reddick appeared to get into a dust up, as Luka was not having any of what J.J. Reddick was serving. You had to have somebody step in as a peacemaker between those two. Now, immediately, the basketball community rallied around, and most of the talk was, it's not that big a deal. What are you doing here? What's wrong with you?

Now, others were concerned about this argument, right? This does not, this is not a great look. This is not a great look. Luka, the star player, and J.J. Reddick. So agent Rich Paul, LeBron's TOTE, the guy that's ridden LeBron's co-tails and made a fortune from the LeBron T-Train. Yes. So Rich Paul claimed that the interaction between Luka and J.J. Reddick, he claimed was part of a healthy relationship. That's what I'm not making this up. All right, so question. You've got Luka Don Chick and J.J. Reddick clearly beefing during a Laker game, during a Laker game, and the agent for LeBron's like, oh, no, this is all healthy here. Is this something, or is this nothing? Is it something or nothing? So the arrow on this one is pointed at something.

The Rich Paul quote, it was profound respect. He said it was profound respect. That was one of the quotes he gave there. So this becomes a peekaboo special. All right, it's a peekaboo special. As in a peek behind the curtain, peekaboo behind the curtain. And what I saw from years and years of watching similar situations in basketball and other sports, I saw two dudes who cannot stand each other. And this was a flashpoint. This was a flashpoint. Didn't like each other. And for a few seconds, I don't know if it was six, 10, 12 seconds, whatever it was, these two guys forgot that the red light is always on the camera. They're always on camera. And what you saw there was reality. Luka looked like he had just had enough. He wanted no more of podcast coach guy.

The guy that got the job because he suck up to LeBron more than anybody. JJ Reddick who should not be an NBA coach. I think he's proven. He shouldn't be an NBA coach by the job that he's done with the Lakers. So look, I don't want to deal with this guy. And Reddick also had, he just gives the punch me in the face five. Doesn't he? He's like, he's like the entitled trust fund baby rich guy, punch him in the face guy. That's JJ Reddick. That's how he comes across. So and Reddick is like pouring gas on the fire. Yeah, the other people it's like a, you know, Vodvilleian thing when they get to come in and interrupt these guys. So my theory is you don't publicly snap like that. Knowing you're on camera, you're joined. It's in a game. Unless the wires were already frayed. The wires were already frayed. And so a healthy relationship. My fat ass healthy relationship. Come on. That's what you say. When you go out there, you punch a hole in the dry wall.

And so I just remodeling. You know, I'm just, well, no, you were angry. You punched the dry wall. There's a hole in the dry wall. I got to get that fixed. Well, no, no, no, I was just remodeling. It was, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I just want to remodeling. Well, no, that's not what you're doing. So if it's so healthy, if this is so healthy between these two guys, all right, why did they go public with it? Right? Why did they go public? I mean, it's not, they're not whispering. It's, it's snarling, right? Now normally you do this stuff behind closed doors. I mean, people hate each other all the time in sports. You got to live together for six, seven months, depending on the sport there. You travel together, playing, trains, and on-wheel, bills, and you don't like people. Normally you put up with, eventually you get fed up and you have a point where you snap or you're like one sodo of the meds and you just have everyone you don't like traded. And Francisco Lindor, because you don't like their politics or whatever. So you haven't traded other teams. That's what the meds did. But the Lakers, they just had a, they said a meltdown. Right there.

And just Luca had that, he didn't look inspired. Let's put it that way. He looked irritated. He looked irritated to me. And sometimes you say it's passion. I didn't get to vibe. This was passion. I did not. I was contempt of podcast coach guy. Contempt of podcast coach guy. And so there you go. And the good news is, Reddicle be fired. LeBron will be gone. Reddicle will be back on television. And then some other Gibroni will be coaching the Lakers next year. All right. Now, final point. One of them mentioned this. Several people have sent me emails on this. We did not talk about it in the previous episode of the show. But we'll talk about it here, because I just so you stop sending me messages about it because I'll address. So we go to baseball, St. Louis, Missouri. Where are the Cardinals, the Redbirds announced over the weekend a new ticket option that offers bottomless soft drinks and various ballpark foods. Ooh. Yeah.

Including in the price, to believe it's $29, you get a seat in Big Macland. Yeah, to give you a wristband. Yeah, this has happened. Dodgers used to do this back in the day. And it allows the fan to return to a specific concession state as many times as they want at no additional charge. Now, they have a variety of food items that are available. However, you have to limit it to three items. So if $29, you get three items, and you get your standard hot dog popcorn, you've got soft drinks, you've got all this stuff on there, chicken fingers, all that. But you can only choose three per game. So that's it. Three items, that's a odd question. Can you explain what signal the St. Louis Cardinals are sending their fans by adding this all you can eat section? So this is the signals of flare gun from the Cardinals right in the night sky. It's a dog whistle is what it is.

And it's not, not just for the canines on the field, because I'm old enough to remember when the Cardinals used to win a lot and they had good teams and they don't anymore. They suck. They're bad. You know, that roster does not look like a playoff roster. You might want to give fans as they leave the stadium a flea bath when you leave the stadium because you're likely covered in fleas watching that cardinal team out there playing baseball. But this is the baseball version. When you announce an all you can eat section, it's the baseball version of a white flag in March. It is. The Dodgers used to have this when they weren't winning. They got rid of it and they started winning the World Series. Of course, they bought all the good players, but they got rid of it. When your team, this is a malarism. When your team starts pushing bottomless, brought worst and ice cream cups. Dead, give away, dead, give away. Yeah. It's a long standing belief of mine. When team suck, you lean into this kind of stuff.

You cannot put a competitive team on the field. So you lean into ring of honor. You retire numbers from the glory days. You have more bobblehead nights like the Angels do because the moms in Orange County don't care if they win or not. They just want to take their kids to a ballgame and they don't really care who wins because it's Anaheim. It's Orange County. And then I toss in that same family, the all you can eat, but the all you can eat ticket, which is it's like the Marie Antoinette of Major League Baseball. Let them eat winners. Let them eat nacho cheese from a pump. That's probably older than your kids and your grandkids and all that. That's cardinal baseball, baby. There you go. You show up the size of a small pony. And by the time you're done with the all you can eat, you leave as big as one of those bite Budweiser Clydesdale's. You're just massive. They have to roll you in a wheelbarrow out of the stadium. You're that big, right? And they're still going to make money.

I'm not going to the rant here. I've done it on my podcast the fifth hour. Like how buffets make money? And what's the business model and all that? It's mostly cheap filler food. It's mostly cheap filler food. High calorie low cost. And they know that you really only have a finite time. Like buffets used to have endless, there was no time limit. And then they added a time limit. So you go to like these buffets. And it's like you got two hours or two and a half, three hours to eat. Well, it's about the time of a baseball game. And it could be even less than that. Baseball now has a clock. And sometimes these games end in less than two hours. So you better go there. And you got to starve yourself for a day or so. Do that intermittent fasting and then go for it. Be sure to catch live additions of the Ben Mallor Show weekdays at 2 a.m. Eastern 11 p.m. Pacific. Running a business is hard enough. TMZ recently caught up with Michael Irvin,

who had a bold prediction for his alma mater. He thinks that Miami will go undefeated in 2026. Ben, what odds do you give that up happening? Let's go with, what is less than zero? Well, they're not going to go undefeated. Asking Michael Irvin about the University of Miami football team. Come on. Is he a part of the cheerleading squad there at Miami? I don't have a good team, but they're not going to go undefeated. No one's going to go undefeated. Next, it's impossible to deny that Zion Williamson is injury prone. However, the narrative that bothers him the most is that he doesn't care about not being on the court. He said, quote, as much as my critics hate it, I hate it more. Ben, do you believe him? No, your actions speak louder than your words. You say, well, I hate this. I don't like this, but the things that he does have indicated he doesn't care that much. Does he care more than Anthony Davis? Yes, he does. But there's this gray area there. And you look at one Zion. He only played a few games at Duke. And he was awesome to watch and play. And you thought, well, this guy's going to take the NBA by storm.

And the only thing he's taken by storm has been the buffet. That's it. Next, former longtime MLB umpire Jim Joyce was recently asked about the implementation of the ABS challenge system this season. He said he thinks the system will actually prove how great umps are at what's an incredibly difficult job. Is he right? Well, so far, the umps have been getting absolutely cooked in spring training. So we'll see when the regular season starts. There's a lot of minor league umpires and all that. I'm going to go that the umps are not going to like this by the time we're done. How do we know? Are these the guys we're going to have play the game? I don't know. I don't know about the, we'll see. I guess they want to play. So we'll have them play. All right, let's introduce them real quick here. And let's see, who do we have? We've got D block in Miami.

Hello, D block in Miami. Welcome, sir. Good morning, sir. Happy Tuesday, happy Tuesday. Happy Tuesday, you're in a year. This is a very important game to me. You're not going to, you're not going to fudge around with this, right? You're going to try, you know, your sports, you're ready to go. Yes? I'm 100%. Let's go. 100%. And what is your level of confidence that you're going to win the game? After a hundred percent, let's do this. OK, all right. Who would you like to partner up with there? D block? You got me, Ben, or the Koopaloo? The way you turn. All right, good choice by you. And we have a Jed who actually was online to play. Malor's money. Hello, Jed. Welcome back. I mean, I see the metaphor for Mr. Crepe and Thelmy. And I'm not supposed to stick up for the agency or what? All right, all right, all right. Come back. Justin Cooper or Ben, are you whoever wasn't mentioned? I'm sorry. I like you, other guy. I like you. OK, what are the categories? I said, yeah, I said, we're going to win. I won't pick. Not Loraina. Good. OK, this is Malor's mountain of money,

the Method Man edition. Method Man, not Method Man. Not Method Man, Jed, Method Man. He turned 55 years old on Monday. Oh, 55. Yes. Double Nichols. That's right. The categories are Protect Yennec. Cream or C-R-E-A-M. I believe that's cash rules, everything around me. I love that song. Judgment Day and still on it. And Deep Lock. Deep Lock. We're on the air. Hold on a second. He punched this guy. And Deep Lock, hello, Deep Lock. Which category would you like, Deep Lock? Let's go cream. All right. And Jed, how about you? Hey, eyes near Steinets. Let's go judgment day. All right. All right, gentlemen, stay. Do not hang up or you will be, you will lose. Do not curse or you will lose. So those are the rules, very simple rules. Not that deep. It's not that deep. OK, we are moments away, well, minutes away, from having this amazing competition.

You got Jed who fled from the Redneck Riviera. And then Deep Lock said, it's an all Florida matchup, a Floridian matchup here. So we will guarantee someone from Florida is going to win this game. Someone from Florida is going to win the game. You got Jed who fled with Coupe. The team is going to win Deep Lock in Miami and myself. And we will get to that. And we will do it next. Be sure to catch live additions of the Ben Mallor Show weekdays at 2 a.m. Eastern, 11 p.m. Pacific. Now, Mallor's mountain of money. And a lot of that's a lot of money. Do you have what it takes to get to the top? Probably not. Now let's get right back to the game. The matchup is said Deep Lock is in Miami. Miami, Miami. And he's teamed up with me. And he's going to play the matchup. He's talking to someone else right now, but he's on the air. And we have Jed who fled. Hello, Jed. Dude, we said we should. Dude, is it put me on the air when it's on my dirt? OK, I'll put you on hold, man. That's a good point.

Yo, chubby treat. OK, all right. Let's do it. Here we go. It's the Method Man addition. And Deep Lock, you pick cream, yes? Yeah, third. All right, very good. These athletes all held out for more money. We put 45 seconds on the clock. Are you ready, Deep Lock? Yeah, third. All right, let's do it. Here we go. Quarterback. He just came out of a time. I'm going to play with a colts this year at the end of the year. Philadelphia. Yes. All-time NFL leading rusher for the Dallas Cowboys. I'm it's mid. Yes. Pittsburgh sealer running back. He missed an entire year to go hang out in your town of Miami and ride jet skis. It's every on bail. Yes. Greatest left-handed pitcher for the Dodgers. Play with the Brooklyn Dodgers. Also the LA Dodgers. Jewish guy. Yeah, good job. But you achieved linebacker. Currently, he's with the Chiefs defensive star held out for a big contract a couple years ago. Generic name.

Fab five guy. He coached the Washington Wizards for a while. Ah, coach. You got 100. You got 100. Yeah. Too late. Too late. Chris Jones was the chancellor. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Jet. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Lift with my guy and hold on. Jet. Deep lock and hold on. We have judgment days, I correct? Yes. It is. All right. All right. These athletes will be Hallefame eligible next year. So 2027, they will be Hallefame eligible. 45 seconds on the clock. Let's begin. Superbowl winning quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. In and off of London. Yes. This guy was the power forward for the Clippers during the Lobb City days. Boy driven. Yes. This guy was the catcher for the Giants, like forever. I'm most opposed to the FSU. Yes. This guy was a cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks during the Legion of Boom era.

Richard. Richard. Yep. Charmin. Yep. This guy beat cancer. He was a pitcher for the Red Sox and the Cubs. One World Series with both of them. Chris Taylor, maybe? No. All right, let's get that one. This guy had the same, all right. He was with the 76ers originally. He won finals MVP with the Warriors. Oh, man. How many was that, Lorraine? Not good. I was like one one. No, it was one hundred. Look at where he's trying to see. Look at that. Oh, my God. Lorraine, you got the test. Oh, my God. Lorraine, we're tied. All right, that's so good. So yeah, you're up. All right, I was trying to come up with ways he could have came up with the answer to this. Hey, hey, you're, you're one of them. OK, calm down. Let's see, D Block, we have Protect Your Neck and still on it. Protect your neck. All right, Protect Your Neck, very good. All right, these athletes all had major neck injuries.

Major neck injuries. Are you ready? Yeah, clear. All right, with 45 seconds in the clock, where we did first and last name, and we are out of our way. And go. Here we go. All right, Colts quarterback who played with the Broncos at the end of his career, won a Super Bowl. Colts quarterback. Come on. The playmaker for the Cowboys. Michael Murray. Yes, Cecil Sun, baseball player, played for the Brewers and the Tigers in a lot of home. Pretty sure they're coming. Yes, former Pittsburgh student defensive back, he's a loud mouth on ESPN now. He's a talking head. He does a podcast. He thinks he has the answer to all the wise problems. No. Not Shannon, but the other brother who played for the Packers. Oh, 30 cars. Yes, good job. A third base for this jump. A third base for the... Ah, darn it!

All right. 2-10 total. 2-10. All right, Jed. Ah, let's go up here. All right, Jed, we have still on it. These athletes are some of the oldest... That's a bunch of others. These are some of the oldest at all stars of all time. All right, 45 seconds on the clock. Let's begin. He's the king on the Lakers right now. Is it a broad game? Yes, the all-time hit king. He rode. Yes, easy. This guy was the Sandman, closer for the Yankees. Mariana, easy. This guy was a quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens. He won a Super Bowl with them. He's still playing in the NFL. Yes. Let's go. Yeah. Oh, man. Oh, that doesn't count. This guy's a left-fielder for the Red Sox. He played 23 seasons back in the day. The 3,000 hits. I should know as we're passing. All right, this guy was a point guard.

This guy was a point guard for the Celtics in the 50s. Oh, Jed choked. Jed who fled choked. I'm absolutely bad. It means that Joe Flacco. Joe Flacco. Deep lock. You won deep lock. You get a goal to take it. You get a goal to take it. You get a goal to take it. Yeah. All right, got a goal to take it. Good job by you, deep lock. You took down Jed who fled. Jed, how embarrassed. How come you're going to go to the gym? What do you, what is it? I don't know. What are you yelling about? What are you? I said you're going to burn his head. Go back to check it. I definitely said Joe Flacco. No, you did not say it. You did not say it. You said John. You said I think you said Jim, even if you even if you did, that wasn't enough points. Even if you did see that. You couldn't have said. All right, shut up about G block. Anyone you want to thank, deep lock for this win. Unbelievable win. Go bears the whole city of Chicago. All right, all of Chicago.

Look at that. He's in Miami. His heart's back in Chicago there. No one knows what the future holds, but you deserve a weather app that can help.
