Big thank you to Gil Will Todd parlay for the March madness beating the book Megapod. Great minds breaking down the bracket. Who could forget the Florida Atlantic run from a few years ago. Let's cast some winners. Jens. Yeah. He's referring to 2023 when Will called FAU to get to the final four. Incredible. And Todd had he paid heed to my advice had entered the draft king's contest would have tied for a second and made $35,000. Did he do it? No, he didn't do it. It's going to be tough. The only thing is thank Gotti to wouldn't have finished first because I don't think time would be here today. He would be so distraught. It's going to be tough for to beat that FAU run here anytime. That was so much fun. It just like me. I'm ties to that school

and then we'll have in the ticket. Maybe we're having Ken Levic on the show again. Levic. That was a blast. Jesse Welch. Odds on Kelly showing up today looking like an 18th century British monarch. What is that? I brought that up yesterday about the Oscars. Oh, right. Guys at the Oscars. That's right. We're ridiculous glasses. Doug Wedge, time for my yearly name drop back with the fantastic forward. March Madness Benning talking about the megapod. Doug Wedge was the guy how he did finish time for a second. I believe in the draft king's contest. That's how we knew Todd would have as well. Used all of Todd's picks. Let's see. Doop doop doop doop. This is from a shot. Let's see Jeff Cuykin doll. You got me into handicapping tennis. Thank you. It's a ball. I only handicapped women for now. And I was wondering how heavy you take into account elo and and DR and your handicapping have a great day guys daily listener. I take it into account, but I have my own numbers. But Jeff, I'm so glad you're doing it. I love that you're involved now. The RGB, the social beacon Kelly, you should think about a trip to Antarctica. They now offer flights via passenger jet that land on an ice runway and you stay a few days. Very rare experience.

Okay. Put on my list. I do that. And then we're getting a lot of this with the with Aiden Holloway thing. Nate King says, could the police or someone in the area wanted to bust someone with Bama hoops because they're upset how the Miller situation was handled. A lot of people bring up the brand and Miller thing. I mean, who knows? Who knows? Who knows? Yes, it's just hard for us to see you're doing a show yesterday and think, oh, yeah, this is, this is not quid. So dental at all. Yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, it comes to us from north of the border, Toronto, Canada, the T dot. They call it the T dot anymore. Uh, Jay Khan, ladies and gentlemen, Jay Han for HAHN on Twitter, Jay HAHN of the number four. Uh, he, of course, the co host of the point and the fantasy hockey show, not to mention co host of NHL fantasy on ice, serious XM NHL for the first two. And of course, NHL fantasy can be the or is the Twitter handle for the other Jake. Good morning to you, sir. Good morning to you, both happy to be here. Obviously a very fun, busy sports week

as well with March madness. And hey, we've got a world baseball classic final tonight with the US represent US Venezuela. That should be a lot of fun. That Venezuela team has been an exciting watch. So at the course of the tournament, obviously, the US is a heavy favorite in that game. But that should be that could be an interesting game tonight, guys. US a heavy fair was minus 280. I saw on this game for the United States. Uh, Venezuela, though, great team, maybe not quite as stacked as the Dominican Republic and the US team, but a great team nonetheless. It's going to be Nolan McLean didn't go so well. Nolan McLean last time. That was ever cool. And Eduardo Rodriguez going for Venezuela. There it is. Minus 285 plus 220 five on the comeback. By the way, USA, we mentioned this yesterday, Jake, they win on a very generous strike three call to end the game the other night against the DR. And then today, like, Venezuela had played last night. Didn't the world baseball classic think this through? I was wondering that as well with the rest factor. And I see, uh, I see Kelly shaking his head. I don't think they really thought this

went through. I think it's just, you know, scheduling and obviously they got to get these games in, right? And everybody's got to get back and get the MLB season going. So I get, I understand that you kind of have to do your best with it. One team is going to be at a bit more of an advantage. But hey, maybe, maybe Venezuela just rides that wave from last night. It was a fun win for them over the Italian squad. It was also a great story in this tournament. So, uh, I don't mind Venezuela. They're on the run line. Maybe I maybe at least keep it tight with the US. I don't know about win, but maybe keep it within a run. All right, Mr. Man, you gave us Cameron Young last week. Congratulations at the players championship. Well done. Thank you. Thank you guys. It's like, I briefly talked with you before I jumped on here and golf betting is, uh, can be a very fickle game and you know, some years, like last year, I hit eight winners and everything was going my way. And, you know, every playoff went my way this year. It's been a, it's been a struggle. I got Daniel Berger, 200 to one at API. I think, and here we go. This is going to be a big, big win. And we all kind of saw how that unfolded if you watch golf on that Sunday. So you're kind of down, you're thinking, man, am I ever going to hit one again? And then the next week, uh, Cam Young steps

up and and wins like that. And there's a lot of guys in contention there late. If it's Patrick, obviously, Ludwig, who had the lead most of the weekend blows up there on the back nine. So, I'm glad to see all the Cam Young tickets out there and that, uh, Valspar is up this week, which is a tournament has actually probably been my most successful tournament betting, uh, in history. So, uh, so here we go. And I ride the wave into Valspar guys. Okay. So who's your guy? Who's who's your guy at the Valspar? So I got two bets in here right now, guys. I got real hits at Sunay. I grabbed an early 55 to one on Sunday night. Uh, you know this, when you hit a winner on Sunday, you immediately are, you're looking at the odds board for next week, thinking, hey, can I find some odds that there was a couple sites that did have odds out on Sunday night? So I grabbed the hits at Sunay. I felt like he was going to be very popular. Good finish at Valspar last year. He just been striking the ball really well this year. So he comes in with some good form. So I grabbed him and guys, I got to do it for the first time since he's returned to the PGA tour. I'm going with Brooks Keppga here at the Valspar. I like, I like where his game is trending. He can't putt. He cannot make a putt right now at all. So that's going to have to flip in some fashion, but he's been striking the ball sneaky well here. And I think this course

sets up nicely for him and you're getting a pretty good number. Uh, you could probably shop at close around 30 to one for Brooks. See this week. Jay Conn, ladies and gentlemen, I know I'm supposed to talk hockey with you. And we'll get your hockey picks one more question before we get your hockey plays day. Uh, the NCAA tournament. We're obsessed. Obviously this country is the United States with March madness. The big dance, all kinds of monitors for it. Do you in Canada? I always say this like the US again, we take our amateur sports for granted. US is unlike any other country in the world with this. As I like to say, uh, East Moscow tech does not take on Southwest Russia state, right? Those games don't happen in Canada. Are you aware of March madness? Do you play brackets? It honestly, it's massive up here for sports fans. Guys, I don't know if we follow it as much during the regular season. I think that's where, you know, the coverage isn't quite there, but TSN, which is one of the big networks here, one of the big sports networks here. They have all the games, all the different channels. Uh, it is covered heavily up here. So if you're going to a sports bar or if you're watching at home, it's very easily accessible and people do get into

it. The bars are packed, especially on the, on this opening weekend, Thursday, Friday, uh, into the weekend as well. I love it. It's one of my favorite sporting events of the year, especially this weekend coming up. I don't claim to be an expert on college basketball and I can't follow it as much as I used to. You know, you get a little busy with other sports, but I ramp it up for March madness, guys. I'm really excited for this weekend. I would speak for, I think a lot of Canadian sports fans that are in the same boat as me. All right. Just wanted your perspective on that. To something you are expert in, the national hockey league, let us get your plays. Starting with the Bruins of the Canadian, you have a total play in this game. So always a sneaky good rivalry here, Boston and Montreal. This one goes way back, guys, and a ton of importance for the playoff race in this game. The Habs with a couple of bad losses over the weekend, both in regulation and all of the sudden that playoff spot gets a little dicey. So this is a big game for Montreal, Boston played last night. So this is a second half of back to back for the Bruins, but they saved Jeremy Swaman for this game. So they saved their better dual tenor for this one. That's why I'm liking the under six and a half. I like how Swaman's been playing lately. You could certainly make it a case for the Vesna trophy with how good he's been

this year. So I like him to keep it tight. And with Boston on that second half of the back to back, maybe just don't have the juice offensively. Six and a half feels like a pretty high total for this game with if Jeremy Swaman's involves. Demontriol and Boston ever play in the Stanley Cup final back in the day. Back in the day. Hmm. Yes. 1978. Who could forget it? Classic and 77 back to back in the seventies. Montreal won both times, I believe. Yeah. Four four zero and 77 four two and 78 Scotty Bowman, the coach for the Canadian hands back in the day. All right. Predators at the Jets. You're on the Jets tonight. Two teams here that are probably going to miss, but still think that they can make it, guys. If you're asking me if either of the make it, I probably say no, but you can't tell them that right now while they're still mathematically alive, these teams are going to fight it out here down the stretch. I like the Jets on on home. I spent a really bad season for Winnipeg coming in with high expectations. I think this is a fair price. A national team that's had a bit of a tricky schedule lately, while Winnipeg's been able to kind of hang out and chill at home. This would be three in a row for for the Jets and they're trying desperately to climb themselves back in and here.

Okay. By what Montreal and Boston also played in 53 57 and 58 Kelly. I know you remember those ones as well. Edmonton regulation tonight against the sharks. Third road game in four nights for the San Jose sharks with travel now. They go from Eastern Canada over to Western Canada. So I think this is a really tough scheduling spot for this young shark's team. Maybe they're just so young. They won't care, guys, but I don't like the scheduling spot for San Jose. I like Edmonton on the puck line or Edmonton regulation in this game tonight. Okay. And lean blue jackets, but you're not going to pull the trigger on that. I haven't got there yet, guys, but I just I love the way this jacket's team is playing. Caroline is very, very good. Tough to fade them, but I don't mind the jackets as a home dog tonight. All right. Jake Khan, everybody. Thank you, Jake. Enjoy the madness from north of the border. We appreciate you too, guys. Good luck. Maddie Cox, that you're here because you want an edge. He says, I can't see these words on the radio. The couple words Todd used on the podcast again. I would point you to the beating the book podcast. Will those words be referenced on A and G today? God, I hope not. And Keith, I hope not. Um, let's talk with Matt Cox from three man weave one third of the three man weavers joins us out courtesy of the progressive guest. Now you can follow him on Twitter and Maddie Cox. That's

Maddie with a Y underscore CO X three man weaves at three MW underscore CBB. He joins us now with a play in games tonight. The NIT tonight. And of course, the madness and earners beginning Thursday morning. Matt, what kind of kind of weaker you haven't so far? How long was your podcast yesterday? Two hours, Gil. Short and sweet. That through all of the, it's I do feel like we disrespect the playing game breakdowns because we're sort of projecting how they play out into the round of 64s as much feels brackets sort of are built like that, right? You're sort of picking sort of a package portfolio. But now, uh, broke it all down. I think we are, if I'm guessing, I think our hit rate should be about 99%. So perfect bracket loading for the weave. So excited for that to kind of come to fruition. Okay. So do let's start there. Do you have any plays tonight or tomorrow night? Do you have any plays in the NIT tonight? I have nothing official. I'm sorry, I do have one plate tonight. I forgot this is a Tuesday. I have South Alabama actually

as a big dog NIT. I'm not really a big believer in like the Auburn doesn't care narrative, but certainly I can see why some people would would agree with that. That down to 17 and a half. I got 18 open at 19 and a half. Richie Riley, really good coach. You remember last season they got snoped from the NIT. They got the invitation and they got a call back and said, Oh, no, by the way, sorry, you're not invited because they had failed. They messed up sort of the scheduling and booking process. Um, and so now they get the invite back this year after a pre-successful season. I think he's just a coach that needs to be at a better program. Frankly, they play a really, really, really funky zone that's hard to prepare for on short prep. Uh, historically much better as a dog has been a favorite. So that's my only action tonight as a situational play on a coach I like against a team that might just be sort of walking as a zombie team after their kind of tumultuous fall toward the end of the year and missed bid for the tournament. Okay, so nothing play in tonight or tomorrow night. Nothing? No. Uh, tomorrow night I have prairie view. Oh, okay.

Against Lehigh. Yeah, very weird matchup. Slack versus Patriot. Um, should be a chaotic game. It's actually got bet under a lot of these dating first fours get bet under feels like I know it's sort of historically I think an under venue. Um, it's played, played more neutral lately. I just think prairie views is a better team and Byron Smith is a really good coach who I think people forgot about because he had just a really bad run of injuries last few seasons. I mean, he basically took this program from the debt, you know, the depths of hell and brought it back to prominence before COVID. COVID sent him back. Now he's finally got a good team this year, some talent. No more athletic team. And I think they're well coached enough to kind of deal with Lehigh's, um, Lehigh stuff. So I like the Panthers tomorrow, uh, plus three and a half plus three. Prairie view to keep it going or at least to cover the spread anyway against Lehigh. Hey, if they can win this and then they upset Florida, which I know we all think is very likely, they can march on to the Houston Regional and play a home game. So we see a central prairie view versus Houston Elite A matchup to Houston Bay School should be an epic battle if that comes.

See, Maddie, this is why we this is why we have you on for angles that no one else has thought of already on my bracket that kind of stuff right there. They're extra motivated girl because they have the close regions are extra motivated. They're like, wait, what? Um, okay, what about what about round of 64 games? What are your favorite bets? Um, I'll be I don't have any really big bets this year. A lot of smaller bets. Uh, I did take UCLA on minus five. Okay. I think the obvious angle there is they've not been great going west to east as sort of been in the kind of bug a bug a lot of these West Coast power conference teams. Um, but against USF UCF excuse me, Donnie, Donnie, Donnie, Donnie, Donnie, Donnie, Den, should be fully healthy. I think Billet Owl should play and be affected and I think they match up really well with this UCF team. So I think Micronin, um, sort of this, he was the perception that they can't win outside of their own. The friendly confines of the West Coast. I think this, this number is, is shaded that direction. So that's priced in. And just so if you account for that, the other match

of angles I like, my numbers I have is seven and a half. So I'm going to trust it. I took UCLA as one of my first round plays here. Crone numbers dog. I don't know. It's been very good this year, but it's a big coaching this match. Okay. And this is just also just a reflection for some who are, you know, listening who just landed on college basketball. A lot of folks who bet college basketball year alone by the time you get to the madness, you don't have much, right? Historically, don't play a lot. ATS in the madness, right? Correct. Yes. And just like even my, you know, I do a lot of, you know, I have my own qualitative power ratings. I have certain situational angles I track. And I have a model. So it's kind of a fusion of those three things. None of them have historically done well consistently year-to-year in the tournament in the way the game's changing recently at a rep more rapid pace, especially last two years. I just, it's, you kind of have to trust small, um, inklings of intuition. I mean, the one thing that people have talked about, I think sort of real is the gap between the halves and the have knots. Look at the spreads. ATS trends the top four seats against the 13th or

16th. Um, I think that's being priced in this year too. So I don't know if that's, there's any meat left on that bone. Um, but I think you have to really target some small sample, um, types of edges here. And a lot of those come with scheme and coaching. Uh, but again, not a lot of certainty to those edges either. So it can't, it doesn't warrant any big bets at all. Did you fill out a bracket met? Could we get into that? Yeah, still doing that. No, my family and friends are blowing me up with like 20 different graduate requests, which I, I hate doing. I should probably get more into bracket strategy, but I will probably go all chalk. I was trying to find some good pricing on the four one seats to make the final four. Yes, no. I think there's some big gaps in market out there. Intuitively, I think it's just, yes, is going to be shaded, you know, poor pricing wise, but I do think I will have all four seats, the one seats. See that, that's what I ended up with. So this is, I'll just take you, so that's what I did. And then of course, since then, I'm hearing all these wacky picks from everybody else. And now I have this deeper bread of like, and I'm, I'm messing up on this, but I feel like, and I know it, you listen historically, the only time all four number ones have

advances last year. And in the year 2008, that's it. That's the list. But I really do. I got Duke, Florida, Arizona, and Michigan, and I'm sticking with it. That's what I got. You're the same. I am, but I don't feel as confident as I did, probably three weeks ago, because you look at some of these ones. He Duke, for example, with their injuries, a big pad up front. I think that's a huge potential. Pete Michigan loses a case and who's a really key point, not critical pieces, but key deck pieces that over the run of four games, you know, you have to account for maybe there's a game in there, a matchup where they could miss that specific, you know, weapon in Florida. They can't shoot. Maybe they just go ice cold. And I know they can get every rebound. So yeah, there's some risk of some of these top one seeds, but I still think they're just on a different tier than the rest of the country right now. It is feels like that kind of year. Good luck. Before you go, let me ask you this one, which is, I'm asking, I'm asking of everyone, which is since 2008, a double digit seed has gotten to the sweet 16 at least one every single year. Last year, we got real close to not having it, but a 10 seed Arkansas did get there.

Who's the double digit seed or who are the double digit seeds that get to the sweet 16 this year? I like South Florida. I think a decent matchup first round against Louisville and then they actually could post some this matchup issues for Michigan State. Super athletic, not only to say tall, but very, you know, grizzled like chiseled athletic strong power conference, athlete type dudes, well coach Brian Hodgson, who's going to probably be a province of Syracuse in a week's time, but they don't advance so really well coached. I think that's some time from this match per party in the second turn of the weekend. They can get it done against Louisville. A popular pick. That's a very popular answer. Popular. Matt, enjoy. Appreciate it. Now, appreciate you, fellas. Good luck. Thank you. A numbers game on FESEN. These sports betting network. of aunt just when I thought I couldn't hate Duke fans more leave, leave it to Drew. I don't know if you mean by his description or drew himself way, way, way, way you get mad at Drew. I think maybe you met the description. And then mile high, David on Delay, I'm a little behind. When I was in the Marines, I flew in the back seat of an F 18, same as a Blue Angel, didn't pass out, but vomited several times in a bag, talked with the pilot before we left. He said, Oh, practice was good. You're going to taste it again. Yeah, that would totally been me totally been me. Ladies and gentlemen, Kelly is behind the glass for a couple segments because it is a treat for the third time in three weeks on, excuse me, third time in one week on this show. But the fourth time, if you include beating the book podcast in studio, Tadewish Neve here, the man who is put together the finest college basketball, if not greatest sports betting season, there's ever been over 170 units of the positive in college. Hoops. He joins us now in studio. Sir, how are you? Hey, how are you? I'm doing very well. Todd and I went to all you can eat sushi place last night by the old

hard rock, which is called virgin these days, but I still think of it as the hard rock. And it's all you can eat. But yet if the food landed closer to me, Todd would grab over the table and say, don't you dare, not factual, completely factual, not factual. If my order went over there, I didn't want it to be absconded. I don't think by an unauthorized taker of said foods. I don't think you have a good memory as to who ordered what? Look, they didn't give notebooks. They should have given notebooks. It's very difficult. It's very difficult. Anyway, how are you, sir? Are you good? You excited? Well, you know, it's a little breather yesterday because there was no college basketball. And Sunday, I really missed it. I didn't even watch really much on Sunday because it was like one day I went to LA, hung out with some friends. And it's been a long season. So now we're getting geared back up for the national invitational tournament tonight. It should be entertaining. You know, me in gaming on the discord and I see definitely definitely in the play. And the problem is I'm going to be on the flight for a lot of it. But I'll see if I can track

a little bit. Okay. We're going to Crescendo. Crescendo. Next segment, you're going to we're going to revisit your elite eight, your final four, your championship game and your champion from yesterday on the megapod because I already set it up for people. I'm like, you will not want to miss this. Well, I know it's probably not going to be even close to right. But I just figured look, if the listen, you know, you got to you got to do something different to win. And some of the stuff that I was thinking that's crazy is possible to happen. So, you know, yeah, you were downplaying the insanity of it. You think it's actually very, you know, quite likely. No, it's not likely. But you know, he thinks it's quite possible that it could happen. Possibly. All right. Before we get into that, though, um, we wanted to do as part of, we want to sort of cover every little aspect of the big dance coaches. No one takes in more college basketball than you coaches. You trust coaches. You don't trust. Can we start with the coaches you trust list first? Because I know there's a guy that a lot of people don't like that you do like. I like Calipari. I know people about I know people like don't like him. But that was,

you know, Calipari was two different coaches. When he was at Massachusetts and he was the upstart, he was actually a pretty darn good coach. And then when he got all the, when he was like getting all the one and done, it could think then that he like wasn't as good became this guy. But now I felt like he came, he's coming back to his roots with Arkansas where he's not that considered the big dog anymore. And they played really well in the tournament last year, I thought, you know, as a, I think there were a low seed, if I remember. There's a few mass teams as Marcus Cambian. Who was the guard that was great on that team? There was like a Latino guard if I remember correctly. Maybe that's right. And Zalas or something Rodriguez. Okay. So you to John Calipari, of course, the head coach at Arkansas. Arkansas, a, a four seed that you think could get pretty far in this tournament. Arkansas. Well, no, the problem is I don't like what they did. They took two teams that I like. Arkansas and Wisconsin and put them against each other. It's just not fair. I don't want that. Can I reshuffle? You are not allowed to reshuffle, but you're not allowed to do that. Wait, so

okay. So if they, if the two teams play, what's your instinct? Well, in my bracket, I took Wisconsin. I just think Wisconsin has the two best wins in the year at Michigan at Illinois. They're always in the game. They have those three point shooters. Granted, they're not great on defense. They're not. But you know, I just like their gumption. They feel they feel like a lot of gumption. Even the other day in the, in the tournament against Michigan, they were down big and then that, that one kid got super hot from three and they came right back in it. How do you feel about their Moxie? You feel as high about their Moxie? I mean, their moxie slash gumption is excellent. Yeah. Yeah, whether it's good, it's as well. Yeah. Now you're going a little too far. Okay. That's a good to far. Darius A. Cuff, Jr. On the podcast yesterday, the great Jeff Parley, the Grover Cleveland producers mentioned that he thought A. Cuff is the best player in the tournament. And I said, better than Peterson, better than DeBonza. I know you're not a DeBonza guy. Better than all these guys. He said, yes, you. Yeah. I think he's, I mean, did you see what Sean Miller said? You know, Sean Miller knows his ball. Yeah. And he was talking about how, you know,

we get over, you know, it's on Twitter as the whole thing. We get over, you know, stimulated or overexcited about some of these guys, but he said A. Cuff deserves every bit of it and maybe more, you know, because he thinks he's like just unbelievable. So why is he like triple digits to go number one in the draft? Should we be betting that we never said the draft people were that smart. I do believe there's a man named Thomas Brady, who was in the sixth round. That's correct. Thomas Brady. That's right. I know that fell draft, but still. All right. So call up. They're great basketball players that weren't like Kobe Bryant, I think was 13th in my wrong. They drafted Nicola Yokech in a commercial in the second round in the second round. By the way, the nuggets just drafted this dude. Basically what I came back with. All right. Calipari. Who else do you trust? I mean, or give me a don't trust. Well, I don't like Tommy Lloyd. I think Arizona's extremely talented, but every year Tommy Lloyd finds a way to to monkey it up. Now, maybe this year, he'll figure it out, but I, you know, Tommy Lloyd is always a concern. He's always a concern for

Arizona. I'm not thrilled with the BYU coach this year. I'll be honest about that. I don't really love him. You have it in for BYU. Let's wait. Mark Fu just rubs me the wrong way. I don't really like him too much. I mean, he's a good coach. I can't take it away from him. Purdue's coach, we don't care about your personal feelings. I just want to know if you trust him. He's a coach care for him. Purdue, Purdue, Purdue's coach painter. You know, come on. I mean, he's good. He's a good coach, but he's not like I wouldn't put him a lead. He's like a Mike Tomlin guy. You know, okay. That's higher than I thought you'd say about painter, by the way. Okay. I mean, I just feel like he's not like super elite. You know, I like the Michigan coach a lot. The FAU coach, Justin May, he's good. I'm going down here. Texas tech. I love their coach. He's outstanding. Tennessee, man, you can have that one. Let's see who else can tuck in. I was I kind of like the Iowa State coach. He's pretty good. You know, let's go on this side. Jamie Dixon for TCU.

Oh, I love Patino, of course. I love Patino. I love, I love, you know, I just like Ricky Patino. Again, as a guy, probably not my favorite guy, but as a coach, I really like him. Kansas, I don't like Bill Self. And I always tell this story about how I went to the game. You are not a good self guy. And I think it's just that Kansas's home court advantage is so great that people don't realize if you haven't never been to that field house, what it sounds like in there. And I went one time in my life. And it was the greatest, most unbelievable home court advantage I've ever seen in a sporting event. And I think that's why Kansas through the years. Of course, they've been good. But through the years, they've had a lot of tournaments where they just didn't do it. And they were disappointing. And I think it's because they get overrated by the fact their home court advantage is so good. Interesting point. By the way, just to fill in some of the blanks, BYU's coach is Kevin Young. I was state's coach is TJ Opselberger. Who else did you mention here? Oh, you mentioned BYU. That's Kevin Young. Todd doesn't know the names. He just

knows. I know who they are. I just, you know it. You know what I mean? Okay. Oh, I love Tom Iso. I love Tom Iso. I love Tom. All that thought. All that thought will come back. Todd's brackets. You won't want to miss this next on a numbers game right here at Visa. These sports betting networks. UMass that we were thinking of probably Carmelo trivia. So also on that team. This is from James Fessler trying to find an updated Gonzaga injury report before this Todd wish to have a segment just to be mentally prepared. Braden Huff according to Mark few will not play this weekend. Okay, there you go. We'll not play this. They're totally different team within without him. Like with him, I was loving that team without him. Well, what was your analysis on them? Yeah, yeah, it's not good. You think they could about get bounced here in the anything can happen. They're not that good without them because potentially, uh, potentially Gonzaga would take on BYU. Forget BYU. Okay, hold on, hold your though. Okay. Um, John Sepulveda. Have you ever said how where you met Todd wish? I'm just curious. He's hilarious. Been listening, watching for a while. And I don't think I recall you saying. I met Todd because Todd, uh, I was a consultant on the showtime docu series action. Got crack on

the show. And then they found the showrunners found Todd at the Southpoint. And one day when we were doing the show at the Southpoint studio, Todd rolled up to the studio after one of the shows. And we met then his crack was there just crack was there. Yeah, that's right. Mm hmm. Ryan Klein filter. Yo, I see Todd. He's wearing an ESPN betshirt. I was wondering who's responsible for putting them out of business. Now I know it was Todd and his 100 bajillion in game college basketball bets way to go. Todd. He said, I think they, I think they would move to the score before college basketball season. We have a, we have a lit of a, a bit of a line move tonight, one of the play in games. Is this tonight or tomorrow? This is tonight's game, right? Uh, UMBC and Howard University, the battle for supremacy on I 95 north of the district of Columbia, Howard inside the, uh, the DC, uh, box, of course, UMBC, a commuter school in Canesville, Maryland. Now Howard is a one and a half point favorite. UMBC was a tick of a favorite beforehand. You're on UMBC. I like, you know, look, I don't bet pregame. We know very rarely do I bet a pregame. But because I'm going to be on the flight

tonight. Yeah. Let's see UMBC goes off. Oh, that's the early game too. Yeah. So I'll be, uh, I'll probably be on the airplane and maybe what I'll just do is bet it pregame because I like UMBC. I, I like, I like that team. I've watched them a number of time. I've watched Howard too. But I just feel UMBC is a little bit better. All right. UMBC, first appearance in the, uh, in the dance since they upset Virginia famously as a 16 seed, uh, back in 2018, 2018 was it or 2019. I can never get there. You're right. One of those two years, you remember what I was talking about. Okay. Let's get to it. You mentioned this. So for those who want a bracket by bracket analysis, both straight up and against the spread, Todd Will Hill, Jeff Parles and I get on the beating the book, March Madness Megapod that is out now for consumption. However you consume your podcasts. But I wanted Todd to revisit that right here right now because this is pretty awesome. You're elite eight. Can we start there? Yeah. My elite eight, uh, let's see. Let's go from the,

from the top part. Okay. So damn, the damn thing keeps moving on me. Okay. So St. John's, I had St. John's to get to against Duke in the sweet 16 game. Is it me? And I like, and I like the Johnny's, I just feel like there's all this, you know, consternation about the injuries. Now, of course, Duke's the better team. Of course, but, you know, I don't think you're going to win your, your bracket. If you just have Duke going all, even if Duke goes all the way, somebody else will have something better. You've got to do something. And I feel like St. John's could be Duke. Why not? Okay. Okay. So thank you. I was in your elite eight. Then I didn't want to take Michigan State for this year because I don't really like Michigan State as a team this year. No, I love Iso. As I mentioned, Chris Fleeck was like, Oh, wow. Great insight. Todd that you're like, Iso, that Fleeck is a little full of himself. Isn't he? I'm gonna almost sick of that guy. No, I love Chris. But anyways, Michigan State, I have Michigan State playing Yukon. And the thing is, I don't want to take Yukon either. So it's two teams that I love their coaches. And I don't,

but I don't know who else to take because I don't like anybody else in here. I don't think you see a lake and do it. I don't think, uh, who are the other big ones over here? Louisville. I'm not it. I'm not up on them. And so I just have to go with Yukon against Michigan State. I'm taking Michigan State because I just don't like how Yukon's looked this year, even though I'd love early. Again, I think he's need some psychiatric care. Yeah. So I do like him. Uh, all right. So St. John's Michigan State and your elite aid in the East region. Right. And then I have Michigan State advancing to the final four over the Ricky Patinos. Okay. So Michigan State, your final four team over St. John's. All right. Then in the bottom one, I like Florida. I've liked Florida all year. I love their defense. I just freaking love how they get up on you and just try to strangle you to death. I think Florida is great. And I think they're going to play Vandy at every match, um, of recently here in the tournament. And I'll take Florida. Then on the bottom part, again, Houston is a team I used to always love to take. But I don't think this

is a real Houston team. The defense isn't as good as I've, I've thought in the past. So I'm going to take the align eye. Another team that I don't really want to take, but I got to take somebody. So I'm going to have Florida against the align eye on that side and the elite aid. I'm going to have Florida advancing on to the final four. Okay. And now we go to the top part on the other side. Some people call these the regions. I call them the top part on the other side of the West. And right. The, the West top part. So Arizona incredibly talented this year. I mean, I just love the team. Everything about them. But it's Tommy Lloyd and Tommy Lloyd has proven time and again, much like Gill Alexander in tennis. He can get close sometimes. But he always ruins it because of his psychological problems. So I do believe that Wisconsin and Arkansas, I like both of those teams. And I wanted to take them both. But I'm stuck because they're going to play each other. I'm going to take Wisconsin to get through. I am very enamored of Wisconsin.

I know they don't play defense. I'm still enamored. I think Wisconsin knocks off the Arizona's and Wisconsin goes to the final eight. And then in the bottom part of that same top part. We have just an absolute crap storm because I don't like BYU. I don't like Gonzaga without Huff. I don't like Mizzou. I don't like Purdue. So what I did is I took NC State to beat BYU. Beat Gonzaga. Oh, Darn it. I just lost my picture. There we go. Beat Gonzaga. And then on the other side, I have Miami knocking off Purdue. So I have a wacko NC State against Miami to go to the final eight. And guess what? NC State goes to the final eight. And now it's Wisconsin against NC State for a final four bid. And the majors take it and go to the final four. Now on the bottom's part on the right. You and NC State stop it in the elite eight

yesterday too. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm just reading off what I have. Okay. And then on the bottom side, I don't really want to take Michigan. There's another problem. But who who's going to knock them off? I don't have anyone to knock them off. So I have Texas tech going against them. But I just don't think tech without the the top and kid is going to make it. So I have to have Michigan going to the final eight, which I don't really want to, but I have to. And then on the bottom bottom, you've got I've got Kentucky going against Iowa State. Iowa State's team I like. And I have Virginia knocking off Tennessee. So now it's Virginia against the cyclones to go to the final eight. And at first I had Iowa State, but then I crossed it off. And I said, maybe this is the team of destiny. As Gilly was mentioning, they've kind of been under the radar all year. The Wahoo's Virginia Wahoo's will play Michigan in the final eight. And then Michigan would advance to the final four.

So we have whiskey against Michigan in the final four Michigan State against Florida on the other side Florida wins against Michigan State whiskey beats Michigan in an incredible upset. And they're going to the finals and it's Florida versus Wisconsin and the finals. It's Florida Gators. Chomp Chomp two years in a row. Wow. So with Scott, the headline. No, I don't know if that stuff is going to happen. Hold on. Hold on. Just being realistic. The headlines Wisconsin gets to the championship game and NC State gets the elite eight. Now you are aware that NC State plays Texas. I know. In a play in no probably lose in the first game before they even make it. But I'm just here's the thing. Yeah. Obviously, this is Longshotville, right? However, you've got in my opinion, you've got to pick something a little unorthodox. And then why not pick against teams that you don't like, which is plenty that I don't like. I don't like Purdue. I don't like Gonzaga. I don't like these teams. So why not do it in that area? You know, like Michigan, I don't really want Michigan to

get to the final four, but I couldn't find anyone there to really jam them out. Okay. Now listen, you Shmendrick, are you going to finally enter this in a big national pool? So you will do it. But that was my one time. It's over. They're not going to you know, I will, but I know I'm not going to make it like you would have. I had the chance that one time 35,000 dollars down the drain. Well, you see a chance. Take it. Look, you know what? After this college basketball season, if the plane goes down on the way home to it's my drop. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. My drop. I've done all I can do. You know how you're like, I've done all I can do. God wish everybody. Exclusively. Thank God on a numbers game. Coming back right here at Visa. These sports ready to work.
