So, you know, we're just talking to you about what you know and not about what you've heard or anything. Just trying to find out as much as we can so we can, you know, kind of make sense of this ourselves. So, if you, if you want to break anything, just let us know. But when we start off with, I mean, tell us about Sydney. How did you, when did you first meet and how long have you known each other? I've known Sydney for six years. We met on the first day of summer gym in high school. And then we were in the best friend ever since. Very close. And you, what are you, what are you now? What are you doing now? I'm at school. Okay, where do you go to school? I go to university and not union. Okay. And what you're in there? I'm a sophomore. Now, we understand that Sydney was your roommate at Mount Union?
Yes, she was her last year and this year until she left. Okay, so how did that work? Did you, did you, I mean, did you both plan on going to Mount Union? Yeah, she liked it first and I was like, I don't know. And then I visited there and I was like, oh yeah, this is the place to be. And then we both got to realize that we're definitely being roommates. And so you've been friends ever since your sophomore freshman year at CNB? Mm-hmm. Go over each other's houses, everything like that. Yeah. Okay. So, what are you studying at Mount Union? Education. Education? Yeah. What was, what was Sydney taking? Well, she started off at exercise science freshman year, her first semester. But then she didn't like the classes. So she switched over to psychology and sociology. But then she didn't really like that. So this year she switched to education and then she didn't like that either. And that's one of the reasons she left is because she really couldn't find what she liked.
So she was trying to figure it out. So what's about the time you spent together at Mount Union? You said that she really wasn't, couldn't find something that she was interested in. I think her most interest I think was psychology that learning about that stuff. But other than just like hanging out with her friends, like educational wise, it was kind of hard for her, I think. Where did you stay out there? What do you stay at? Um, freshman year we were in a dorm room. And then this year we were in a suite. So it's like a dorm room but like two, so we lived neighbors and we shared our bathroom. But this is actually, it's actually at Mount Union housing. It's not like a separate apartment. Yeah, yeah, it's not even housing. So it's just human Sydney. And now, or there's some other groups of students that you're on around frequently. Neighbors, yours? Yeah. So like I said, our suite mates, which was Alyssa, who was a cheerleader with me.
And then my friend, or our friend, Brett Me, who lived in the townhouses. So she lived with us, but she was really close with us because she was in a horror story together. And she was also a cheerleader. No, Sydney and that same cheerleader? Yes. What's your worries at? Alpha Chi Omega. Now, do they have a separate house on campus there? Or how does that work? So they do have a house on it, but they only have one apartment where you can't really live there. So it's Alpha Chi Omega. And did you both join together, or did you, how did that go? So we both went through a recruitment together, and we both didn't know about the same story. What attracted to that story? The girls, the vibe that they gave off, like everything that they stood for. And what was that? Their philanthropy. Well, I think the girls are just really nice in general. But the flirt between the same four is the domestic violence shelter lines. And you know, I've never been like in any of those like situations.
I think that that was a good cause. Okay. So you didn't think there's no actual house, but there's everybody just belonging to the sorority to stay a different part. Different their dorms, is that? Yeah. How often did you get together with those girls? Every Sunday we had a chapter, which is like kind of like the meetings. And so, and if we had an event, we were with them. So we had an event or only Sunday chapters. So often. So when you first got to Mount Union, how was, how did it go for Cindy? Did she seem to be, I mean, you mentioned that she didn't really, you know, find a niche as far as what she wanted to study. But I mean, did she ever talk to you about classes and how that's going? Did you share that with each other? Yeah, I mean, I think we talked about classes a lot because we had helped work together a lot. I think she was like, I think she struggled in our classes. I don't think her grades were the best, but she didn't really tell me that because I wasn't really struggling.
But I think you could tell kind of, especially at the end, that she just wasn't like doing her best in high school. She was very like good grades and everything. So I think it was kind of a shock for her not to be like, just struggle, I think, a little bit. I think it's like a steady habit thing. You know, it's a big difference when college does. I think so. But it's like, and I suppose sometimes you can procrastinate a little bit in college and definitely can. So she just wasn't, you know, did it seem like this might kind of change a factor. I mean, did the factor move to audit that she seemed concerned about it? Or tell us about that? I think she had a lot of stuff hidden because when we were just talking to her with her friends, she always seemed happy that she seemed okay like I said, I couldn't tell until the end where she was kind of just like struggling and she kind of was sad and just like, I don't know what to do. I'm like, well, you just need to find what makes you happy and like just, you need to find what you like to do.
And I don't know. I think it didn't make her a little upset because she was confused because she, I think she felt like everybody around her kind of had to figure out what they wanted to do. And she had it. So I think that kind of affected her. So when do you think this, that it really started affecting her that like, look, this is, you know, I'm really having problems and this is, I have to, I mean, I don't want to put words on them off. Tell us when you think that it really started affecting her often. Did her anxiety come on? Well, I know she's had anxiety for a while. But I don't think, I think it was last, like this last semester, like starting coming back in January. You might really started that she was kind of more upset because she really didn't know what she wanted to do because she didn't like her classes because that's when she started the education classes. And my friends and I were worried for her because we were just, we didn't know what was going on because she wouldn't tell us.
And there was problems with me. Howling or something. And just like, we shared a remedy that put names on the doors. And her name wasn't on it when we got back and we were confused about that. And she said, it's because they messed up because she didn't sign the forms right or something. And she kind of never got fixed. And then she left. I asked her questions like that. And she said, no, I have books and I asked them for my classes. But I didn't work all the time. And I don't think I saw her doing a lot of homework last couple of weeks. So I think this last semester, this January, or she was there planning to get to do a lot of things. Most people would rather assemble a 300-piece cabinet than search for insurance. That's why the zebra searches for you, comparing over 100 insurance companies to find savings no one else can, compared today at the zebra.com. So had you hung out over that Christmas break?
Yeah. And was she talking about, what was she talking about that? And was she talking about the next semester? Or did you guys talk about school at all? I don't think we talked about school. She didn't talk about ice situations because for like January. We're talking about living in the town houses. And like, what we were gonna need. So I think you're talking about living situations between school and class wise. Yeah, there's nothing much. So when you came back from Christmas break, you didn't see her name on the door. Yeah. And when did she come back? She came back the same day. Same day. Yeah. She'd come together. No. name wasn't on the door. So they said do our people do that? Yeah so the RAs do that. So we were like, oh what happened? Maybe we should go ask the RAs. People were asking them to ask their name, I don't know. So she was kind of hesitant to ask the RAs so that's when we were kind of just like what's going on? My sweet baby Alyssa and I were asking her, oh what's going on? It's
Sidney just said that when she signed out the form was wrong. So she was meeting with Reds that didn't like a lot in the last couple of weeks to kind of figure out like to get her stuff back because then her, one of her names was on the door of her dorm key, if the thing would get into the dorm body, it stopped working and so but then it started working again because they she went over to RAs life and they turned it back on. So I don't know what happened really but that's all she said. So it wasn't, so when she got there didn't work and then she went and talked it down. Yeah. And then uh so was this like, so the key is the outside door and then she was going for the inside door? No so there's uh yeah well kind of there's a key card like our Mount Union ID and that's when you swipe in like you can get into the building. And then there's the actual key for the room. The swaker wasn't working the key spaker. So I think she just told us that she didn't feel like the housing form out like this
when we had to come back we developed forms and we're coming back and she said she signed something all wrong. So I don't know if that's true or not. Like that's what she told us and then she just I think that she met with friends like a lot like a couple weeks trying to get them figured out because she was saying and then she also decided not to stay until she had to come to her key and stuff. So when she got her stuff working again, how was it like day today? I mean do I mean was she going leaving the dorm? Was she coming back? Yeah good. What were you thinking about that time? I was confused because we toured her everything for a long time so I was confused in the same time you know what was happening and I was just like she could trust me and she could tell me that something was wrong. I'm going to help her but she didn't really tell us anything that she didn't tell us anything here or Britney. She did go class so she was leaving
the building but usually her and I were together because our classes were similar so they'd leave me coming back at the same time but I see I saw these are key but I'd use my key too but yeah we were together most of the time coming back for classes and so. Do you have any of the same classes? We had the same class but not the same time. Did you actually know for sure she was actually physically in the classroom? She told us she was and I mean she was like we would have French class and she was doing her French homework with me so I knew she was doing stuff with the same class but I don't know if she was going to class. Okay. Was there any like you mentioned Alyssa and Britney? Any other like community sorority sisters in any of her classes? No but she's also close to a running college. She was in our sorority but she was also cheerleader. All of her friends were my friends and we had I was cheerleader so she hung out with a lot of people I haven't been.
So you don't know if she was actually ever sitting in a seat in the classroom? I can't believe that. No because we had classes at the same time and if we didn't have classes at the same time it would be that I was in a class and she was in a study room because she didn't have class at the time. What was she doing? She had to dwell on the lot or help to describe what she was doing when she was not in class. Were she supposed to be in class? When she lived in class if she waited for me she made the study room to look like now in the rooms that you can study in so she'd wait for me until I get out of class and then we'd go do stuff together but if she's not she'd be in the dorm room in her bed on her laptop. Did you notice any change in her room? Was she talking about anything? I could tell she was getting more upset and more sad and I told her if I'm here really you can tell me I'm here for you if you need anything I'm here but she never really opened up until
she was leaving and saying that she was struggling in school and that she really she was kind of trying to figure out what was going on and that's what I started to try to help her and then she then ultimately decided to leave which I thought would be good for her just to get her mind off the rest of the semester and then come back and go to act for her or something the next following fall semester kind of hoping that would help her. So what was that like conversation and as opposed to when she left? Um that conversation maybe a week before she left a week or so before saying we were talking about it we were just like I was like we'll see I understand if you like to take classes or summer classes if you want them back to now I'm on board like we love you we want you here but like I understand it you go like if you go home like my friends and I talk about this or else they do but if she goes home and she just needs to go to Akron just to be at home just to be somewhere where she can maybe try
to find a new work ethic and something I make her want with us we're all for it and she like she did I appreciate that I really want to come back to Mal and let's go go on a friend's arm that's where I want to learn even pass a semester behind that was kind of what she said. So when did she actually leave? You put a day on that that's something that reminds you of when she actually left. Did you stay with her? The week before? The week before? The week before? Is that the last time you actually actually saw her? I saw her in the middle of it and then when she came back to Mal to watch the lecture with me and my friends and my friends time asked if she came over. Did she stay where she was staying? After she left or what did you believe? Where did you believe she was staying? She was like is she texting us when she came home? Like I made it everybody home? Yeah they showed you at home?
So you think that before this happened she then had the house a week? Yeah. She waited to use about a week before at the incident then she the near thinking she's at home and then she came back to just that Monday. So Lauren let's let's let's talk about this. You know you're her best friend and know this is difficult to tell us about her relationship with her parents. Um, she, her and her parents have really good relationship like her mom and her were best friends. Probably like they did everything together. Like one of the reasons she went home was to be with her mom. They were always close. She never said anything bad about her mom. She never ever talked about having an argument with her mom. Like I can't recall every time she made going home she was like I can't wait to see my mom or when she goes home for weekends. She was like oh my mom would be going home so I'm going to hang out and then watch movies and she liked like she
loved being home and she took a relationship with her dad too. Like um, you know that her and dad like to watch like sores together and they he always had cooked food at the house like he liked cooking and she always thought how good his food was and what they're getting to like her Christmas and things and that's pretty great. Like she was like she loved being home with her family. So when she's talking to you about um, you know the problem she's having at school uh did she mention that she tried talking to her parents at all or that they you know they were going to have uh that they were involved in her future plans at all? Yeah I know she definitely especially when she was she talked to her mom about what they mean they kind of made that decision together to leave now that she told them that she didn't tell her for a while but I knew everything kind of built up. She's telling them how she was struggling at school and then when she left I knew that was a decision between her and her parents
kind of kind of mutual type decision. Now when you say that she told them and it was like a mutual decision is that her telling you that? Is that her telling you that she? Yeah she told me that she talked to her parents and they decided that we'd best for her to just finish not finish the rest of the semester. So as far as you know based on what Sydney was telling you she was discussing the situation. I mean did you think her parents knew based on what she told you? You never ever talked to your parents. So you last saw her which would have been like a week before the incident and then did she has she removed all our things or what about did you get the impression that she was moving out at that point for good? When she told me that Tuesday morning she woke up and she was talking she said can you tell you something? My family I decided that it'd be better to take the semester as a semester off
and I have to leave today and then she packed up all her stuff and kind of told all her friends and then she left that Tuesday with all her stuff, all her wedding, all her clothes, all her and I was a Tuesday before the incident happened. Yes. I mean she drives up to see you the Monday night before us. Did she say anything that day when you were watching a bachelor or how did I did you ask how she was doing or until it's about that? Yeah we asked her she was doing and she said she was good and like she acted like well we would see it's normal when she was laughing she was having fun she said she got jobs because she worked at the Akron River dance. She worked there for a couple of seasons so she was going to go back there and then she also said she was looking for another job and like everything was good and she was trying to figure out like her next year and all this stuff and she was going to talk to her parents about housing, trying to come back to melt. That was her name and when she seemed fine like she seemed completely like like I said she was laughing and we were dripping off and getting
all stopped and everything had happened. When she's you know once you got to my meeting or any time I actually did it's any of her drink alcohol or she did okay just kind of described that for us. I mean we've all been college age so. I don't usually drink a lot if I do it's one but her she liked to drink um there was an incident in the fall of our freshman year where she drank too much and she wasn't alcohol but it was and but she didn't end up in the hospital in her parents and her mom came and got her to the morning but she didn't end up in the hospital that day because she drank like a minister and she drank too much but usually after that her and I worked together and she did drink I usually kind of like cylinder down after I knew kind of her limit because she's small and I knew her limit but she did drink. What what situation was that in was it like just like a party or something? I was in the
dorm room watching movies because I didn't want to go out so she went out with her other it's not like her friend I was really close with them I was close to playing them but not the rest and they I got a call on like 11 and say to do that party and she was going up and she just wasn't good and to come pick her up so I kind of went and got her and then she was feeling good and so I brought her back to the dorm and she went to get out of the car and I gathered me trying to help her and the R.A. came out and then the R.A. called campus security and the campus security of the ambulance and then she was taking the hospital. Did she have any friends that like wasn't in your friend circle there? Like friends that she had maybe made on her own? But you're aware of? Not really because you really should have been in the dorm or hanging out with us or some already girls but I knew all the sorority girls too that they were my friends a lot of this to me and a lot of the same friends. So her circle friends pretty much consisted of
the sorority girls that you were in and some of the cheerleaders that she met through you. Had you ever seen her taking anything or any medications for nothing? Nothing at all? Is there anything that you know of that you don't need? Did you hear from anybody else that she might have done that? Have you ever heard anything like that? No, I don't. So, what is your phone number? What phone number do you have? Lauren? 330-687-2221. And there's text in that? We did, yeah. Okay. So you said you mentioned in Allison? The Audrey. I'm sorry Audrey. Do you know Audrey's phone number all the time for your head? No. How about Britney? No, I have to look at my phone. I know you just cry some of them in contact. Yeah. So did she that after you said after she'd left, she had all her stuff and left about a week before?
What kind of contact did you have with them during that week? Did you talk to her at all over the phone? Not really because we kind of wanted to give her a week justice and one of her house. We asked her how she was doing and I called her very, I called her but she didn't answer the shower and then I texted her and I was just making sure I was like, oh, just want to make sure you're okay and then she talked a little bit and then she asked if she could come over that Monday for the bachelor and I was like, oh of course we'd love to have you that we want you here and then she came over and then she texted me on home and then we'll text some videos to each other. So she's having a video at night too and I was kind of like the last of it. Okay, I'll be there. Did she have any boyfriend or any guy friends that she met at Monday or either? Well, we were, we hung out with fraternity guys and that she had the same guy ever invited.
She did have a boyfriend from about December before break until January when she came back So, he's on like a month of show. You know what he's doing? Dumb. Dumb it, it's that bump. So what made her pregnant? Uh, he cheated on her on the years. Oh, kitty. Yeah. Yeah, I'm making happy. Yeah. So yeah, baby. How did she find out that happened? I had friends at the party that called me and told me and then I told her. Okay. Yeah. So you did a great thing for her? Yep. Um, and she ever, you know, any of you mentioned that she had the the drinking episode, any kind of like breakdowns or anything or you mentioned that, um,
you know, she had our time finding out what she wanted to do, what she studied, but any like real bad episodes that you couldn't recall anything like that. I mean, we know bad, like, I've seen her cry, but not over that. I've seen her cry before when, like, just being stressed. I don't think she even don't stress very well. So she cried over stuff sometimes when she got to her stressed out. I don't know. I don't know. There were some, I mean, how did she take the news about Dominic? I was, she, um, she was upset for, like, a while, but then she was just kind of, she said, you know, it was not meant to be. That's okay. And then she broke up with me. Where did she from? Uh, I think more of the neighborhood. And the word is back before her, she just kind of, like, that's my text message.
Yeah, she dumped it. She was like, I found out, and I, she gave him a little bit to see if he'd tell her when he ever did, so she was like, I kind of don't like that you never told me. So I just think we should end this now, cause it's not going to go. Okay, take it down. So did you talk to about her and died? Tell me more about that. Um, I think since high school city's been dealing with anxiety, um, like I said, she really deals with stress well, so she gets in like, if she's stressed about something, she kind of gets a little worked up over it. Um, she went through a period in high school in her junior year, where she just was, like, almost socially anxiety, like she didn't like, to like talk to people, other than like our friend group or go up to like restaurants or storm orders that she wanted to talk to cashiers and stuff like that. Um, we kind of helped her and pulled her out of it and you kind of, one of our girl, um,
I think, well, she went to the counselor. So like, she went to the counselor and kind of talked about it, and it got better after that. I've seen her in the university more and more, like I should have said, but I think junior year should definitely struggle with it. And then in college, I think it got worse again just because, like, because she didn't know what she wanted to do, and I don't think her grades told her where she, what she wanted them to be. So, like, when she was doing her grades and stuff, I think that kind of stressed her out and I get her more upset, which kind of figure out what she wanted to do as well. I think, do you think that she dumped any counselors up there? And she talked to the counselor and now, because you have to go into the health center, when you're across campus, and she never left there. So, when she's, uh, did, did you, you mentioned that she was having problems with her grades, did she ever talk to you about, uh, you know, the university's feedback, like if she was on my
probation or anything, or any official status that they changed, or do you want to wear anything like that with her? Um, I know the reason I kind of found out is because, in the sorority, I got an executive position, or, or I was in a position to where I knew she couldn't do something because her grades, as you academically, for her grades in the sorority. When would that been, semester? I kind of found out about that because we had a thing called, which would have been the fall. Yes. That's false from the truth. We have a thing called big little where, like, the older girls get a new girl that I went with and then towards and she wasn't able to get one, I guess, because of her grades. So, that's kind of what I found out because I was in a minor position then, where I helped pick the big glows. So, I was, like, in a position I kind of found out because of that. And how did she react when, when she was, you know, when we talked to her about that?
Or did you talk to her about it? I didn't bring it up until I was just like, hey, I know you think they're a little, and they said it's a pleasure academics, it's already been like doing a talk about it. She, like, they just messed up my transcripts, like, I didn't get as bad grades, and like, how did I think that happened? But, yeah, so she told me nothing messed up with transcript, but then she came and told me the truth a little bit later that she did have bad grades. And was that, like, this little thing, is that, like, towards the beginning of the semester? And more towards the middle. Towards the middle end. And that's, she did finally come forward and say that, you know, she was, that she mentioned specifically where her grades were. She said that she was having some problems. And how do you find out that it was all bad? How do you find out about that? One of those things, all the grades were pretty bad. Yeah. I never really found out what they were exactly.
I just, she told me that she was a high kind of bad grades. My friend, Brittany, kind of struggled with grades a little bit, so she was the first one who kind of noticed that she was pretending to be struggling, because she had been in city's position before the professor in the sophomore year. A little bit, so she kind of could tell. And she's the one who kind of was like, warm, you've got to talk to her about it, like, just make sure she's okay. It was like a probation game, right? It kind of. And then, do they ever just, like, do you ever just notice she wasn't supposed to be here? That's what it kind of felt like, but I never knew. Was there any never appeared in the door? Right? Did you ever, was there any RAs that ever came in physically, checked your sleep there? See if she was staying there? After she left, that, after she left. But before that, they came to talk to her. So who's there, will you say? The already already. She came to talk to her and then red light was also coming to talk to her,
like, coming to ask for her, as she talked to her. You know, how, how, how many days before she left for that, and there was a week, two days? It was weeks, like, throughout the weeks that she was there, kind of on and off. And at night, as you saw her, did she make plans to see you again? We ran out. We were going to try to hang out again soon, like, over a weekend or something, but not, like, official or not, specific plan did it. You don't come home all the weekends all the time? I come home sometimes from all of it, but I knew the press room drip was coming up, also in a corner, so we were making plans probably to see each other after. Okay. That's great. So, like, back here in Akron, was there anybody that, like, you went to scores or she would, at saying, be your real good friends with, that, that you, she would spend time with when she was back home? Who would have been who that would have been? If she would have, it would have been either okay or it was to Akron, he's into Lewis,
but I don't think she ever contacted him, because she didn't even know she left until I told him. So, I would know she would have contacted him, and then, um, we had another friend who goes to Kat, my name's Emma, and I would think, I would know she contacted her either. What's Emma's last name? White. Did she go to St.P? She did. So, what about social media stuff like that? Any social media share? She had Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter. So, does any of that look any of that, really, weird, dark, anything to you? She never posted anything, so. Oh, I really don't. Okay. Any, uh, any guy friends that were back here, and Akron, she went all with? Not really, no. When she was here, she didn't even use any other equipment. Like, her close friends were kind of,
the ones at school. What's, uh, what's her relationship with the brother like? They are, I think, of a normal, sick, lame relationship. Like, they love each other, and they'll do anything for each other. They also, you know, brothers and sisters aren't human. Stuff like that. So, I think it was pretty relatively normal that she loved her brother. She told me that all the time, that we talked about, that I talked about Steven, she talked about Erder. Like, we, um, they should have to go to brother, or soccer games, and he's across games, or it's before you get more. Were she planning to, and then he like, um, in her mirror, and soccer, but not eating or anything like that? Were she planning to, back here in Akron, and then he's thinking like that? So, or, what, what, I mean, what have we asked you? Is there something that you think that, uh, we need to know, or something we think that we, we might think is important, that, uh, that's weighing on her mind? I think so. I think you read the last,
a lot of good questions. I, I think you've got all those. Like, all the main things, like, just definitely, she has to have anxiety, and I think, um, I don't know. You know, she ever replied, once a doctor had to have no school or anything like that? Is she calling it, like, I guess I would say that's like, a club to call something. Anxiety? Yeah. I mean, I guess, this society day where it's kind of gay. That's why I was wanting to, like, be sure to, you know, what's a doctor makes the time anxiety, when we just kind of cared. No, she never said anything, I wanted to adopt her. I don't know if it was diagnosed or, but, and you should, like, we would call it, and, you know, we just used to choose a lot. Just, she was stressed a lot. I think that's it. Yeah.
And then, when, in all those bad, all of this, so how do you think that's something that happened to her mom? Um, so I knew that, I got called into my coach's office, because the dean, or somebody came in, and I was called into my coach's office, and they told me that, um, I had the power lens, but then, and then, people were going to the hospital, but they just didn't know what happened, and it's you. Happened, and then, I, my dad was coming to give me a suitcase, and so then, my dad kind of told me. Oh, you guys were going for it. Yeah. Yeah, because I remember being here, like, the next day or something. Two days. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know, no, no, the next day. The next day, yeah. It was, yeah, he kind of told me what happened in the last couple of days. So, how did you feel about that? What were you thinking? Um, I was shocked, just because, like I said, sitting in her mom was so close,
and that kind of just was like, what do you mean? I don't, I think I was shocked and confused for a lot of it, and then, I kind of, when I was on vacation, I kind of could use that, this happened, that something happened to her, and I'm sure that I didn't really help, other than telling you guys about it. I know, I guess. I knew that I can't do anything other than just being at first, didn't you? Just shocking. Yeah. It is shocking. I kind of was just kind of, you know, like I was just like, no, maybe didn't believe it at first. I was like, no, sitting in her mom, like, maybe something else happened, something else was there, I was just like, can you talk to anybody in her family, specific? Um, we talked to her dad, just, like we said, while I was looking at her, so he kind of then dusts, and just making sure we were okay,
basically, just making sure we were okay, making sure we said, they need anything, and be there for them, kind of that type of situation. So what about the other girls, like giving up to be a spring break, kind of, let everybody kind of digest what happened, like we were all really upset that day or night, and I, it wasn't their own campus, but we can't miss them, you can nail that Tuesday, or that Wednesday, I wasn't there, but I heard everybody was talking about it, and it was kind of upsetting for some of the people that were with friends, because they were just confused, and we never would have saw this coming, not at all, never would have saw this coming. So it was just a big shock to everyone, but like I think, having that week and now, I think not being at school, because of the coronavirus, but giving everybody time just to, like, heal, and kind of digest what happened,
and just kind of feel like that. So if anybody said anything, like, we got negative messages. Anybody say anything bad? I got news this week, that's you, whatever, anything bad? Not to me. Everything that I, but people with my friends, have texted me, and people with my sorority, and it's all been very positive to me, and um, during that week of spring break, I kind of turned off all my notifications for social media, not but, um, I, I know from my friend, that people were saying, we didn't offer social media page or Instagram, but as public, my friend told me that, I didn't go read it. So you didn't say anything bad? Yes. Um, I heard there's negative comments on her Instagram page about her, but I, like I said,
I didn't read it, but everybody, they're saying that they're here for us, and they love us, and they're telling us that they live in a situation. You guys are like, so what are you doing now? Just online? Yeah, online classes. Are you guys back now? Just spring break, technically. So we had Monday and Tuesday off, and then yesterday started online classes, but I'm just looking at home because they shut out our norms. You can't live in the dorms anymore. But she usually, I know, like when you're at school, you get that card and everything, but did she pay for stuff with cash? Or, if it wasn't her, a university card at the university facilities, if you went out, you know, to a restaurant or something, how would she normally pay it? If you know. Either cash, or she did a debit card, or none of us would pay, and she'd go,
to a cashier or a debit card. So she didn't have her individual debit card? Yes. Most of the food is you guys eat off campus, or you guys, I had a kitchen and you used to have that home. So there's a cafeteria, and then we have, in our school of cafes, called the B&B, where you can use your dining dollars there, and eat money, but if not, you'll have a restaurant or at our friend's townhouse, okay, so how are you feeling? I'm okay now. The first couple days where I was kind of sad, I just confused and shocked, but like I said, I kind of realized that the only thing I can do is kind of tell you guys what happened in my kind of like, what I know about her, and just know that I know Sydney, or Sydney how she was, and that's all I can do, is kind of learn how to try to help as much as I can,
and I know that type of situation just I knew that there was nothing I could have done right now, or that situation I wasn't there, I don't know what happened, so all I can do is just eat it, thinking we haven't asked you. I don't think so. Well, Lauren, if you think of something, I'm going to give my card your dad knows how to get hold of us, but I'm going to give him my card, and wouldn't that, or anything at all, or what should I ask you, have any questions for us, or there's probably a million things, but, okay, I'm going to give you my card. It's like no! And if you, like I said, if you think of something, or somebody says something, it contacts you, either through Instagram or whatever, says something that's really unusual, to you, or you know, just get hold of us, okay? I will. So what do you study?
What are you studying? Education. Okay, so you're going to teach, and I bet you little baby is too kind of you. Are you coached? You were coaching in the fall, or in the expectants in the week too, right? Yeah, I coach. I'm a freshman, so you had time to do that in addition to cheering at the football games and everything? On Thursday, I go back home and coach the football games, and then I cheer myself on Thursday. Yeah. Thank you for coming in. Thank you. Okay, I'm going to walk you back down and appreciate it. Yeah, of course. Now you've listened. Now go to your thing.
