Benghazi: Know thy Enemy, A Cold Case Investigation

About this episode

On September 11, 2012 the U.S. Diplomatic Mission is Benghazi was attacked causing the deaths of Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith. This attack was quickly followed by an attack on a nearby, well defended, CIA Annex, which resulted in the deaths of CIA Security Personnel Glen Doherty and Tyrone S. Woods.
Initially the Obama Administration reported this incident as a spontaneous attack linked to a video, Innocence of Muslims, released on YouTube in July of 2012. The book Benghazi: Know Thy Enemy, A Cold Case Investigation, dispels that myth and sheds light on the decisions made before, during and after the attacks. I will be joined by the Authors Sarah Adams and Dave Benton who were in Libya during the attacks.
