BEING A GECKO IN NEW ZEALAND

Therapy Gecko

About this episode

This episode starts with two interviews I did on the streets of Auckland, New Zealand: the first is with a local bartender who talks to me about bad spending habits, moral quandaries, eating burgers, Kiwi life, and more. The second is an American transplant who I get into a really deep conversation with about the meaning of happiness. It was cool. I like talking to people in real life because I can look them in the face and tell they are real people. I sometimes think all of the callers are actors being paid to Truman Show me.

Then we end with a caller who is exhausted by being the "mother figure" amongst his peers and wishes to walk the universe.

Today is your birthday. I am a gecko.
