I am in the process of building out a bathroom for my tiny home, my trailer that I pull around. This is an 18 foot trailer. I'll show you the outside real quick before I show you the bathroom that's going down. So if you're new here, I'm Frankie.

This channel is a raw 20 minute vlog where you're gonna get exactly what this 20 minutes of my day is and I'm doing the vlog every single day for one year. I think when I'm like day like 147 right now, straight, it's kind of wild, mind blowing. So this right here is Betty. This is our travel trailer. Me, my wife Alex and our daughter, Everly and our little puppy, Paco, we all live in a 37 foot trailer and that's on another property. Right now I'm at a neighbor's house inside their beautiful garage and I'm so thankful for them to be able to build out this section and be able to utilize painting and stuff in a controlled air space. So the humidity in here will be a bit lower than outside and the temperature will be a nice temperature in here all day where outside it would get really hot inside the unit. Meaning I don't really have to run my AC to dehumidify this space. I still might do that in here, but this is the bathroom here that I'm building.

So the shower head will be up top. I'm gonna red guard this, red guard that wall. I'm gonna red guard this area here as well. And then I'm gonna put some PVC walls up here, some plastic walls up here. This being like straight up and this is gonna slide out into the bathroom area and then we're gonna have a little extra space like a six inch out. So that way when you're in the shower, showering, you have plenty of room for your elbows to come out and you won't hit either wall. Making it a lot better of a situation to be inside of y'all. Show you kind of from this angle here, how much space that gives you like, my elbow will not hit this wall. My elbow will not hit this wall if I'm fully out. And then I have enough space here to be able to shower. I could even shower this way as well, but it gives you way more space also a spot to kind of sit down or put your soaps and whatnot here

unless we put something on this wall to hold that. So I will have to seal everything up completely and the red guard is gonna protect all the wood from any type of moisture that could happen. And it's also gonna allow me to put an adhesive on the walls for when I put up the PVC wall. This is an exhaust fan and a light here for inside that bathroom. That light will have to come down and will have to build the wall around that. And I will also have to make some hole cutouts for my water lines to come in as well. So I took that out to make my life easy. And this is an epoxy pour that I did. I'm gonna wind up putting, this is gonna be my drain hole right here. I'm gonna wind up putting probably like a wood structure there that could get wet so that way you have something to stand on and you don't have to worry about getting slippery in here when the floor gets wet. Cause the last thing you want is to be inside a space that you take in a shower and you slip and you fall.

And I was gonna put a sand inside of it, but the thing is with the sand, you kind of have to dry that sand and make it ready to put inside the epoxy. Otherwise the epoxy could and the sand could react to one another messing with your epoxy and I didn't wanna have that chance. I didn't wanna take that chance at least. And I didn't really wanna bake sand for 30 minutes to an hour in and oven. So my plan is to put in that grate like I was saying and avoid that issue. So that's what I've been doing today. I had to take off a couple walls in here. This wall had to come off so I could access this here. This is Everly's bedroom. I had to take this wall off to get to this one as well. This is Everly's bedroom. I'm gonna be putting a bigger fan in there to create more airflow. This guy right here, which should pull a lot more airflow. I need to get one of these guys off.

Oh, let's see. There you go. I need to get one of these guys and put it in a her room. So I could utilize that. I might take it off this back wall because I feel like it doesn't work great there. So I'll take it off this back wall, put it in there and allow me to work on that as well. And then I have one more thing I have to do other than painting the whole entire rig before we get on the road. Underneath here, I've put in a water system right there where it's really hard to see. Propel fitness water with Gatorade electrolytes, zero sugar and vitamins. Propel hydrates better than water to help you get the most out of your workout and get back to your best self. What propels you? Propel with Gatorade electrolytes. Visible puts unlimited 5G data and hotspot in the palm of your hand, powered by Verizon's 5G network with no contract holding you back.

But that allows me to have city water or be able to run my pump. The only thing I didn't do was put in a backflow preventer. So right now the water when I go to turn on the pump shoots out the other side, which is weird because originally that did not happen. And now it does. So I don't know why maybe the pressure was staying inside for whatever reason. So I got to get a check valve put that in place. So that way I don't have to turn on and off valves all the time. So that way when I do turn on the pump and we're not connected to a city water, we'll be able to have water flow in here

with no issues whatsoever. So I just need one check valve for that. Otherwise everything looks really good. The leak that we had in the sealant has been fixed. Then there's really no water damage from it. There's like a little bit of like moisture wick on the wall, but nothing that a little bit of paint and dryness isn't sealing. The original issue that we had early on of the humidity inside the space or the metal sweating has not created any type of long term mold, which is great because I took off a wall to look and we had no issues there as well. So what I did for that is I made more air flow from this upper section here. You can see that hole there. It looks dark because there is a water guard on it, but air could flow through there. And then in this section here underneath, underneath the space here,

where there's air flow vents as well, there is a vent down there that allows air to flow through the system, through the rig freely, allowing the doors to shut easier as well, creating a space that allows more air to flow through to change the delta T of this metal. I also still might add some type of felt, moisture grabbing felt or car felt to this metal so that way, hopefully that also absorbs some or changes once again the delta T of that metal allowing it to stay closer to the temperature so that way the metal does not sweat. On top of that, we're probably not gonna be using this much in the winter time, in winter situations, like going snowboarding and stuff like that because we have, Everly, I don't wanna risk having that situation occur.

I would rather build out a fully contained unit, like maybe like a bus or something like that and be able to travel out of that with her. I just feel like that situation's a little bit easier than towing a rig all over the place through hazardous roads. For me, personally, just over time, I feel like that box truck or a bus or something like that might be something that I look forward to building in the future. It's not anytime soon. Right now, I'm still dealing with recovery from an ACL surgery so with that being said, I don't know if I'll be snowboarding this year at all in any way. Granted, on January, February comes, technically I'll be allowed to start doing that type of activity depending on what my physical therapist says. She did say I would most likely be back to doing stuff like that by that time or at least working towards that.

So yeah, I'm having really good progression with the leg. I feel really good. Life is moving in a really good positive direction for us and we have many things in the works that you're gonna see here in the near future that is gonna change stuff up a little bit for us, whether that is going to be like an international travel or staying more in Canada or going to the US, you're gonna have to wait and find out. So yeah, this is my project for today. I'll pick you guys up a little bit later. I do have to make a run to drop off my knees. She was watching Everly, so I would actually get a video done for FNA Life. If you don't know about FNA Life, you should go check it out. It's our main channel. It's where we make all of our vlog content. You'll be able to actually really see what's going on in our life because this is like over a week's time or a few days time videos put together

and you get more in-depth information about stuff rather than just the 20 minutes of my thought process here. Okay, come check it out. We did a little bit of red guarding, which wild as I put on the AC and the condenser is already shut down because it's already satisfied. The setting is actually only to 26 degrees right now, but that's fine. What it is doing though is it's taking the humidity out of the air in the space and it's making it nice and cool in here as well. But the red guard is up. You can see everything looks pretty red. It's looking good. We even got the edging in here. Everything is red everywhere. That is going to be contacted with the pink board and potentially, I'm sorry, not the pink board, the PVC board and potentially would have moisture on one side of it. I'm not going to do like in here, no need for that. None of that's going to have any moisture on it.

whatsoever. I did have to take out the light so lighting in here isn't as great. But everything looks like it's been hit. Even the sealant I hit to a certain point because I'm going to put up a piece of the PVC board here as well creating a little bit of a difference between this here and inside there. So you won't see that red on the sealant, but I did want to hit the whole thing. And that's basically it. Somebody was saying in the comments to put like a little spot here for the shampoo and conditioner and stuff. We'll be able to put it here, but maybe I'll put something here to get it to where it could kind of sit up there and potentially give us an opportunity to put it there while we're driving. So it stays and it doesn't move around. It is kind of toxic that stuff. So I do want to get out of this rig as soon as possible.

I had all the doors open a little bit earlier. We'll shut that off for now since we're going to be leaving. We'll leave the lights on. But I'm stoked on that. I think it turned out great. I think when the walls go up, it's going to look really good. I'll have a little bit more of a poxie to do. Actually, I want to pull the epoxy out of the truck before I leave and leave it here. So that way it's one less thing that I have to think about. I will probably be back here, definitely be back here tomorrow, but I might be back here later this evening to continue this project and get as much done as I can today. So that way hopefully tomorrow, I'm putting up the walls with Alex and the next day we're finishing at a poxie pour and in the following day after that, we're drilling the hole for the drain line to go in. And then just like that, the shower will be done. Kind of wild. It's like, I can't believe it's almost finished.

Once that's done, it's just painting stuff. Yeah. Maybe what I'll do tomorrow as well as, well, when I'm going to do the epoxy pour, maybe what I'll do is I'll pull off the countertop, remove the oven, pull off the countertop, pull off the table on the back and we'll also do those two epoxy pours as well at the same time, because that will save us some time and mixing of epoxy. And since I need some of it to get hard, I could use some of it to pour those two tables and then use the rest inside the basin when it has the four to six hours of dry, cura time where it's really thick and I could fill the holes that need to be filled inside of the shower basin. Project is getting closer and closer to be completing. I love that. It's taken way too long to finish this rig to be honest with you, but with the travel, with the hideout, with Everly, with all the things we have going on,

I'm really happy that we have been able to take her on trips and enjoy her even when it wasn't completely finished, but it'll be even better when we take our trip to Florida and we have a fully finished rig to do it in. Yeah, baby, I'm looking forward to that. All right, let me go run over to Alex and Everly see what's popping off over there. Everly just got up from her nap and I've done enough work for the day, so I'm gonna go chill with my kid. I found this so funny. Everly and I, when I was putting it in bed tonight, I normally do like a storytelling time for her. And tonight, the storytelling time was the Fresh Prince of Ballet is like theme song, which is basically the plot to the show. And I just found it so funny that I was like reciting it. Look at this cotton candy sky we have going on here. Beautiful. And so being able to like recite that, she loved it, she was cracking up left and as I was telling her the story

about the Fresh Prince of Ballet, it's just so funny. Eventually she got tired of it and she wanted to hear a story about Everly. And so I was able to tell her a story that of like who she could become and what I utilized was like her abilities to make everybody smile. She's has this gift, right? To make everybody smile. And she was like really, you know? But she does, she has this gift. She lights people's light worlds up, whether it's with the shimmy or whether it's just like walking through a store or whatever it is she does. She just gives people the biggest grins. She makes people feel good about life. There was somebody who wrote on the shimmy earlier today all these things that have been going wrong in their life. And how the shimmy is one of those things that picked them up in this hard time.

Booked their leg, had this happen, had that happen. And the shimmy was one of their reasons for having some happiness. And that's such a wild thing, right? Is this like little video impact somebody's life so much? That's what's so cool about creating content, right? Is every day in life we're creating the contents of our life, right? We're having an opportunity to create in the world. When you step outside, you're creating something. When you wake up and you open your eyes, the things that you do from that moment on, you're creating, you're creating your own reality. And we're so blessed to be able to create content for a living because that's what we do as humans, right? Whether you know it or not, you're creating content every day that you might not be putting out to the rest of the world the way we do on YouTube, but you're putting it out to yourself.

You're getting our visual return when you wake up and you walk around and you experience this. And so yeah, just feel so blessed to be able to create content. And be able to look back on the content that we create about our lives. It's so cool. Like the other week I went back and watched videos with Everly when she was like first born. And that was wild to like see where we were at in life and to like look back on it. And like, might not have that memory stuck in my head if it wasn't for the fact that I was able to go back and watch the video and see the actual interaction of what was going on in that time in our minds and our thoughts and our experience of life. Quite cool if you ask me. So like the documenting of our lives on which we create content and you know get paid via YouTube

and other sources of social media. It's just our memories that we get to look back on. So you're like literally getting a virtual log of our lives when you watch either this channel or you watch F&A life. Propel Fitness Water with Gatorade Electrolites, Zero Sugar and Vitamins. And life is interesting. And I think that's the reason why content right now is king in the sense of like the job that is probably one of the higher paying jobs nowadays. And the job that all the kids in school want to have. Think about it, right? If you have like when we watch movies and we watch these different shows and stuff, it's like you're putting yourself in the shoes of the main character, right? And you're getting an opportunity to view things from that main character's perspective. And it's wild cause those shows could be fake. Where are these ones? This one right here is real. This is our real life. This is the trailer we live in. This is the shed we built. This is the trust is we were gonna put in but couldn't because it was a much bigger project than what we actually thought money wise. And also the property that we're on right now,

it's potentially not gonna be Alex's sisters in the next year. So it didn't make sense for us to go forward on that project. But I'm gonna head inside, it's Gambley. Sorry to get so deep at the end of this, but just what came across my mind in this 20 minutes. I hope you've enjoyed, subscribe if you haven't already and donate to a cause in the link in description as go fund me for all time as the dementia.
