West Coast shootouts. There's always action on the board and now Fandall's giving you a way to turn that energy into even bigger potential wins with a college basketball parlay profit boost and Frankly, the Florida Gators are facing the Kentucky Wildcats, right? You can look at those odds and you can see how you feel about them For some people they're gonna say you know what? I'm gonna take Florida to cover the spread I'm some people six and a half points. I'm taking it go save go bold rider the team you've been following all season It's your parlay your style now with more upside behind head to fandall.com to get started it's fandall.com fandall play your game And like I said, I'm taking Florida to cover that. I just you know, I'm gonna be completely honest about it Florida Six and a half point Favorites right now and and we're at the morning of the game, right? So line shouldn't shift too much Yes, the game is in Kentucky at Rupp Arena

Which sure gives Kentucky a home court advantage there but There's something that I just like I can't get over when I think about this game and why I think that Florida's going to win this game and probably going to win it handedly, which is not I'm not on good right Kentucky's offense is not good Like I don't know how else to put it but Kentucky's offense isn't good and if your offense isn't good How am I supposed to expect you to beat this team? Like we talk about often times when there's these matchups right of like oh well, Florida's defense is you know the best defense in the SEC Florida's defense is a top five defense in the country overall And we talk about it when they face Arkansas and they face Texas and it's like oh well, well those teams have really good offenses And Florida's facing them and Florida kicked the crap out of them Okay All right, Florida kicked the crap out of them

all right, well Those really good offenses struggled against Florida's defense specifically right you look at Arkansas They scored 77 points They have the fifth best offense in the country second best offense in the SEC They got walloped right Outscored right by 34 Texas seventh best offense in the country fourth best in the SEC Florida held in the 71 points Like I see things like that and I go well Kentucky doesn't have a good defense I mean a good offense Kentucky's offense 38th in the country good for you But in SEC play that has dropped considerably and you're the 11th best offense in the SEC Once you got to your conference schedule your offense fell off a cliff And that that's like Georgia right when Florida was facing Georgia We spoke about it and and we spoke about that game here on lockdown Gators and I was saying that you know

Georgia's offense it is good statistically But they really fell off a cliff once SEC play started Like they really fell off a cliff there and Against Frankly just just good teams that they played their offense was in nearly as threatening right It wasn't and so I think Kentucky is in a way Similar there, but I also think you know Kentucky they first off They have not won many games lately right there two and four in their last six I'm not one many games lately I think that's concerning for them right really ending the season on on a big downswing Florida has beaten them already handedly But also like I'm looking at a Kentucky defense that or Kentucky offense that You turn the ball over a lot Florida's gotten a lot better at forcing turnovers You are not efficient scorers

Florida's gotten really good at limiting efficient shots. Okay, you shoot a lot of threes Or we'll we'll say a good amount of threes right. I don't want to say a lot that they about 36% Um, which is you know, I'll say above average at this point in the conference Florida, this is a really good job of limiting three point attempts And Florida forces you to shoot twos where Kentucky is terrible at shooting twos I don't like I don't want to be like oh Florida so good. They're so great. They're gonna destroy everybody But I am gonna say like dude like I'm looking at this game And my thing is Florida's offense could go ghost right Florida's offense could they could brick from three all the time again My bigger concern is Kentucky's often scoring wise Concerning And again, like like we spoke about uh

It was Thursday night Florida the way to beat Florida and the way to score on Florida is to have guys that can create their own shot consistently We know Denzel Aberdeen Gonna put up shots. That's what he does right Like he's gonna go create his own And he's gonna put up shots he put up a lot. He's a volume guy He's just he's a volume guy Florida. He's a volume guy here. That's one of the reasons I don't think he was a great fit with Todd Golden was you're you're a dribble god over there This doesn't work out in this kind of offense, right? Um, so I think Yeah, we can talk about Florida and how they match up against Kentucky's defense But when I think about this game, I'm just like I Don't know how Kentucky scores a lot on Florida and I'm not saying the Florida is going to score a lot I really don't know how much Kentucky's gonna be able to score. We'll talk more about that when we get back with lockdown gators It is tax time but for a lot of us the old way of doing taxes is a lot

Trying to book an appointment that's not the most convenient sitting in a waiting room with a stack of papers E-mailing back and forth and wondering if they really get your situation But this year you're getting a major upgrade into it turbo tax now has in-person locations nationwide You can meet face-to-face with a real tax expert and your documents get uploaded straight to your turbo tax app on the spot Just like that you're done your turbo tax expert works to get you every dollar you deserve while you get real-time notifications As you go about your day It's the relief of walking in and meeting a real person and walking out knowing your taxes are being handled Right head to turbo tax dot com slash local to find a store near you and book your appointment and welcome to The five hour energy flavor draft with 18 different flavors to choose from including new options like confetti craze fruity rainbow or cotton candy There's something for everyone the board is sent the flavors are ready and we've traded up for the number one Overall pick for the five hour energy flavor drafts and we trade it up because we do feel as though there's a sure thing

Still one that will not only elevate our floor immediately, but elevate our ceiling long term Some of the diversity dynamic Explosive and consistent And so with the first overall pick of the 2026 five hour energy flavor draft The locked on gator select You guessed it. It's great once again find your new favorite flavor five hour energy shots available online at five hour energy dot com or on amazon And so you have to make a lot of down gators. You're first listen of the day every day. We are available daily and free everything podcast and on youtube and We'll talk about the Florida offense against the Kentucky defense in this game. Um, but again frankly My bigger thought is that Florida's defense is just going to be too good and overwhelming for Kentucky Uh, but Kentucky defense is good like they're they're a really good national and SEC defense

Um But again It's tough man like it it's tough for them and Florida's offense once again the best offense in the SEC Don't forget they dropped that title for a little bit um, and how they're right back into it Florida has the second highest effective fieldable percentage in the SEC Kentucky has the fifth best Effective fieldable defense Florida Middle of the pack in terms of turnovers Kentucky a little bit below average in terms of forcing turnovers That that's one of those like battle of a bad on bad right Which we'll see how that goes um, hopefully in Florida's favorite in this one Florida's second best offensive rebounding team in the SEC Kentucky fourth best defensive rebounding team in the SEC and another battle of bad on bad is free throws Which is Maybe a bad thing for Florida right uh Florida does not do a good job of getting to the free throw line

Kentucky sends guys to the line a lot Florida Really bad free throw shooting team Maybe That's one way that can talk and we spoke about this uh with the with the Arkansas game That maybe that's a way can tuck that you know Kentucky can hold Florida off Is hey, you know, we're gonna be aggressive. We're gonna foul you. We're gonna we're gonna play really hard nose physical defense We're gonna get a stop right you're gonna convert through contact or There's gonna be a whistleblown and if we send you to the line we're comfortable sending you to the line Florida's not a good free throw shooting team at all Just for the record neither is Kentucky, but Florida's not a good free throw shooting team at all You've got Xavier and Lee shoots 80 percent You've got her bond clubs are shoots 91 percent although he does not get to the line frequently at all and everyone else is below 80 percent

The atomic attacks at 76 percent Then you have guys like Michael Hamilton who's at 37 percent from the free throw line Alex Condon is at 65 percent from the free throw line We've been chinny lose at 70 percent from the free throw line and boogie flants at 73 percent from the free throw line And boogie has games where he'll go six or six in the line and then he has games you'll go over four from the line So he's just wildly inconsistent at the line I think when you're looking at how Florida's offense can score Gonna come right in that paint again Kentucky does a good job of contesting those shots usually generally But again with Florida, it's hey, we're gonna get our threes off And if we're not converting on those threes, we're gonna get off into rebounds For Kentucky your job has to be boxing out right Your job has to be hey and for everybody that faces Florida your job has to be hey

We cannot give them those second chance those easy second chance baskets Because that's what Florida's trying to do that. That's how Florida attacks Is that they're trying to attack in that way they're trying to go hey We're gonna get our threes off of when we can we're gonna get our shots off when we can And we're really good offensive rebound teams We're gonna get the offensive rebound and then we're gonna have an easy shot to get in right because if I'm getting the offensive rebound Odds are I have position So it's probably me and the basket with you behind me or you to the side of me And I'm gonna go right back up and that's how Florida's offense has been so consistent Right like like they're offense. I don't think has been overwhelmingly dominant Outside of that like when you talk about their first their first chance opportunities on on offensive possessions I don't think that they're an awesome team there But But they get a lot of offensive rebounds and they get putbacks or they get threes off them And they score a lot of transition points

That's how Florida beat you offensive rebounds transition Dubs right there I think they're gonna do the same against Kentucky. I took them to cover six and a half points Very comfortable with that one right now, which I'm gonna knock on wood again because that usually means I'm an idiot Usually thanks for a lot on gators. You're first listen of the day every day We are available daily and free of his podcast and on YouTube We will be back later on tonight after the Florida gators.
