Badgers Land Top In-State Twin Brothers

0:00On April 2nd Wisconsin Badgers just locked in a huge win for their 2027 recruiting class, snagging in state twin brothers Hunter, and Reese Malinger on Wednesday night. Both are offensive linemen headed for the interior line, pushing the Badgers to 7 total commits already. Hunters of 4 star standout, ranked number 4 in Wisconsin, while Reese is a solid 3 star at number 10 in the state. The Badgers had these guys on their radar for months, offering Hunter back in June of 2025, and Reese in January of 2026. After grabbing just one in-state kid last year in 2026, the Badgers are dominating this cycle, landing 7 of the top 10 recruits from Wisconsin. They're even trending for an 8th, a 4 star running back named Kingston Allen. A coach switch on the offensive line from AJ Blazek to Eric Mateos didn't slow things down. In fact, it lit a fire under this homegrown push, especially with Wisconsin's talent pool heating up lately.
