Badgers Land Blue-Chip Recruits, Climb Recruiting Ranks

They just landed four star offensive tackle Cole Ryder from Germantown, a 6-width 7-315-pound beast who picked the Badgers, over Ohio State, Penn State, and Kansas. He's the second bootchip commit, teaming up with Titan Corps Lorcan from Iola to give this young class some serious foundation. That momentum has recruiting services taking notice. On 247 sports, Wisconsin sits at number 20 nationally and 7th in the Big 10. On three ranks them even higher at number 18 overall and 5th in the conference, with two consensus four stars and three three stars already lot. In, fans and analysts are buzzing because this is a sharp turnaround from the 2026 disaster. That class ranked 68th on 247th and 65th on on three. Dead last in the Big 10 basically, thanks to a brutal four and eight season.

With this strong in-state start, Wisconsin heads into visit season locked and loaded, poised to build an even deeper roster before chasing bigger fish, it's out of state.
