And today we have an amazing topic that we're going to talk to you about. So stay tuned. Welcome, Sandy. Thank you so much for being part of the Awakened Hope Show. Hello, Candy. Hello, everyone. So good to be here as always. So today, we are going to talk about, well, yeah, we're going to talk about being so hyperfocus that we miss.

We don't smell the roses. We don't see the beauty that is around us. And when I say that, you know, people may be thinking, I see things all the time. But for many of us, and I am calling myself out on this, sometimes I get so hyperfocused on a goal and intention or a destination, whichever, you know, whatever's drawing you are pulling you forward, I don't stop to always see what's around me. Maybe there's a double rainbow. I have been driving, well, no, I wasn't driving. I was a passenger, but I was reminded that, hey, there are two double rainbows right in front of me. Yeah, I do live in the rainbow state. I was so fixated on the destination of where we were going that I missed the double rainbows until it was pointed out to me that they were right in front of me. And I was like, oh, how do I miss that? It's kind of like it had been any larger hit me on the head. But the point being is sometimes we can go,

we can get so zeroed in on what we think we need or want that we miss what's important. Yeah, well, I'm laughing to myself because I am one of those, oh, look at the sky, look at the rainbow, look at the sunrise, look at the sunset. Look at the flowers kind of person. And I am so much that way that I have to really watch it when I'm driving because I've literally missed my exit more than once. So I think it can work both ways. But the true idea is we do get fixed on what we want, the outcome. And we've talked about it before how we can set our intentions and we can do our affirmations and look for to manifest what we truly want. But then we have to let go of the outcome. And that is just so hard because we're picturing it,

we have to feel it, we want to get that feeling. And then we have to let go and say, okay, don't be the way, surprise me, and give me what's the best for everyone, right? It's that kind of thing. And we do get fixated, but no, I want to go here. I want to go there, I want that. And then we miss, we do miss out on so much that way. Also, you know, one of the things that kind of, I was listening this morning, as you know, I'm an early riser, I get up super early in the morning about between 4.30 and 5 a.m., boy time. So, you know, for those people in the East Coast, you're halfway through your day. But for someone like me, that's bright and early in the morning. And I love the morning time. But I was listening this morning, I digress. I was listening to Oprah this morning, as well as Denzel Washington. And they were talking about how oftentimes, you know, when we get a goal in mind,

or we get something that we desire, we resist the belief that it has to unfold the way we want it to unfold. We get into that fixation, we want it to unfold a certain way. And both of them were saying, you know, oftentimes, God, universe, source, whatever you align with is saying, no, I am going to, I am removing this because this person, this event or this situation, is not supposed to go where you're going. You're being elevated to a different level. We're moving up and they're not allowed to go with us. But we get hyper focused on, oh, these people are going to be with us. These people are going to be part of our tribe going forward. And God, source, universe says, no, not today. You're going to, but when we resist it and we don't see the beauty of what God has in store for us, we can oftentimes miss those small cues

that he has put in our path. Yeah, he may be removing something or someone, but he's put something else there for our beauty and for our benefit. But if we're so hyper focused on where we need to be, we don't see it. Now, we can get into that date of being frustrated because we feel like we're not moving forward. We feel like we're sort of stuck and stagnating and we get frustrated. And I think if we feel that way, we have to first of all be aware of it. You know, like, why am I not progressing like I want to? I don't just really look at that. And then what I think is the best way to move through that is to stop and take a look at how far you've actually come. We do that, you know, I've been on long road trips and stuff and it's just like, oh, God, oh, much further. It feels like we're on this road forever. And some of the trips actually are like four hours long, but the actual scenery is so boring. It feels like forever.

And it's like, oh, my gosh. So if you can really look like, oh, I actually have already come this far. So look at what you've done already and use some gratitude, but celebrate. Celebrate your progress. This is what I've learned that really, really helps. It's just like, okay, let me look at what I've done. Stop really being miserable about what I haven't done yet. And maybe that's really not what I'm supposed to be doing. As you say, the universe and spirit has shown us that. Nope, that's not quite right. Or sometimes we make a decision that puts us back in that spiral of repeating something. We need to learn that lesson one more time. Nope, you're gonna get stuck here until you do it differently. There's lots of reasons why this might happen, but you know, honor how far you've come and then start looking at being grateful

and being open to some new direction. And be okay. The thing I want to stress is be okay with where you are and the steps are taking longer. If your progress seems like it is going ee-dee-dee-dee-dee-dee, be okay with that. Because maybe that is slowing you down to the point that, okay, there's something up ahead. If you're driving full steam ahead that you're gonna run off the road, you know, there's something in front of you that you don't see. But be okay with the pace that it's going. We get it in our head and I'm included in this, you know, it's like, oh, this has to be achieved by this time and I have to be, you know, we set our goals aren't gonna be this. I remember when I was younger, well, when I was much younger, I didn't even see myself being married nor having kids. However, you know, God gave me a different plan. But, you know, when I started thinking about it was like, okay, so I'll have 2.5 kids and know you can't have a half a kid.

But, you know what I'm, that belief is you're gonna have so many kids, the white pick offense, the house, the job, the guard, the cat. And oftentimes we get put on different paths. We get the universe. God says, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You have a greater purpose. So I am gonna put you on a different path. And we go kicking and screaming, going, wait, wait, I, that's not where I was seeing myself going. I wanted to do this. And, you know, I mean, and it slows us down. Sometimes we feel like we go to a creep or a crawl and we're like, well, that wasn't what I had in vision for myself. But if you take the time to look around or what's around you at that time when you're slowing down, you will see the beauty and the decision, the precision of that choice that's being shown to you. It's not always gonna make sense at the time when you're fighting it. But if you stop, you take some breaths,

you bring yourself into this moment and say, okay, father, God, spirit, universe, what is it that I need to learn from this? What is it that I'm being prepared for? If you focus on, what is it that I'm being prepared for versus seeing it as what are you are moving for me? Why is this happening to me? You will get it completely different perspective. Yeah, exactly. And if you have found, I've worked with a lot of people who are particularly women, but a lot of people who have said, I thought things would be different by now. And I think that they would have achieved that dream or whatever and things, they would be more happy with their life in one way or another, whether it's health, wealth, love, all of it. And I think if you can stop and say, okay, I thought it was gonna be different. If I don't like this and I don't want this, what do I want and make that list?

What is it that I'd really feel good about? What would bring me that happiness, that joy, that satisfaction, fulfillment, peace, whatever it is you really, really want and look at that. Okay, if I can't do it this way, how else might I do it? And who might I ask for help? You know, we have to realize that sometimes when we get redirected and we get on a new path and that we're looking at going, wait, this wasn't my plan, this wasn't my idea. There's a reason why we're on that path and the path may be because we're going to encounter somebody that can help us. It has the resources and the plan and the direction and the connections that we are seeking to fulfill a goal of ours or an intention of ours. But when we go knocking and we, you know, we just keep barreling ahead and the picture that's coming into my head is that bull in the china shop.

You know, the bull just kind of goes and goes forward and there's a lot of things breaking and a lot of things kind of rattling and shaking and we're like, whoa, whoa. We don't want to be that bull in the china shop. We want to be the most in the china shop. We want to go in there and heal and quiet and exploring and see what's there because oftentimes when we are slowing down, we see things, we encounter things, we encounter people that can help us. But if you're going full steam ahead to get to where you think you need to be, we're missing, we're missing the beauty of what's important to us at that moment because sometimes we get so hyper focused, we lose sight of what's important. So really stop and think about it. What is it that's important to you in your objective, in your goal, in your intention that you feel that you don't want to slow down or you can't slow down.

If you are slowing down, recognize that that is, that could be God universe sources, way of saying, I'm slowing you down because I'm going to protect you and I want you perceive that as my love for you, not walls going up, going, why, why, why, why is this happening to me? What was me? Oh my gosh, what are you doing? What are you doing? I've done that, and you know, and then I get on the wrong path again and I'm going the same direction and it seems like I encounter the same thing. We're going to slow you down and I'm like, whoa, so I've started asking myself, it's okay, what is it that you are preparing me for and what is it that I need to see hyper focused on being the bull in the china shop and not the mall? Yeah, amen. So there's another thing that comes up too, is if you find yourself saying, I have to, I have to get this done, I have to stay up, I can't go to sleep yet, I have to blah, blah, blah,

I must, I have to, how can you change your trajectory to I get to? And it might be that you just changed the words at first. Right. I have to go to work tomorrow. Say I get to go to work, I have a job, and while you're doing that, you can start visualizing and start picturing yourself doing something else, you can do whatever, but just change that word. I get to, I get to go exercise, I get to eat healthy, I get to take time for myself and stop that treadmill we get on, sometimes that hamster will, as you like to say, we get off of it, go outside even for five minutes, and just, you know, what's out there, look around. Even in your own office at your desk, in your kitchen wherever, stop, take a breath, look around. What do you see out the window? Give yourself a break and no, there's more for you.

Which is gonna lead us to a perfect break, we'll be right back, stay tuned. Are you a man or woman suffering from ED or sexual dysfunction? If so, you're not alone. RegenMax.com. Welcome back. Now, Sandy and I have been talking about being so hooked, so super-hyper-focused on a goal or intention that we stop to smell the roses, see the rainbows, whatever is around you. And I was reminded of this with a previous guest I had. She was talking about she's unable to drive because of her disability. But she didn't see it as a flaw. She saw it as an opportunity to see things that her husband isn't able to do because he's the one driving. She can pay attention and she can see the butterflies and she can see the flowers blooming. I was reminded that that's pretty much the way we need to approach life. It doesn't mean we don't take action. It doesn't mean we stand still passively and wait for everything to just flow to us. But sometimes when we decide to take a break that back and release the resistance and the pressure

that we're sending out with our, I gotta get this done. I gotta meet this deadline. I gotta do this. I gotta do that. That's when we can release that pressure. Oftentimes, that's when those doors begin to open. That's when you see the connections you need to see. But if we're so hyper focused on, I gotta make it happen. Not only are you being, are you going full steam ahead somewhere you don't know the outcome? You believe you know the outcome, but you don't really know. You also are missing the beauty around you. And the opportunities and the doors that can open up only if you relax and you rest in the knowing that God's source universe has a perfect plan for you. And nothing that is meant for you is going to pass you by. Even if you miss it the first go around, it'll come around again. But you have to be aware of that

and you have to be awake and prepared for it. But if you're so zoomed in on, I gotta achieve this goal. I gotta get there. I gotta meet the ABC, you know, those opportunities. I have been there, done that. Have the badge. Yeah, so there was something that I came up with and definitely with the guidance of spirit when I was living working in Savannah, Georgia. I was, the house was 24, 25 miles from work in Savannah. There were probably four or five ways that I could go. So the main way would be to, you know, as I left that little town I was in and, you know, jump on the I-95 and catch the other interstate into town. But I found myself white knuckling and speeding. You know, like just really getting in the whole flow of what everybody else is doing,

but I was just like this tension. And I thought, okay, that's probably not real safe. First of all, and you never knew if there'd be a big accident or something. So I started going straight through all the small town stuff and there's a railroad kind of thing into the port, all kinds of stuff that would delay you. School district, let's go 25 miles an hour, all this stuff. But I realized I sat there one day and I was being stopped by the police that were the crossing guards for that school and the buses. And I just stopped and I said, okay, thank you for keeping me safe. Thank you for teaching me patients. And from that point on, I would just, every time I got stopped in traffic, I go, okay, I get it. Thank you for teaching me patients. Instead of being upset about it and, oh God, I might be late. Just be open to the idea that this is a gift, even if it doesn't look like it right away, it's a gift.

So whatever's going on for you is what I want to say. If you find yourself feeling truly frustrated because it's not going the way you wanted it to, it's not happening as fast, stop and take a breath. It's just, okay, thank you. I'm supposed to look around right now. Maybe I just need to drink a water. It can be very simple, right? And sometimes that delay, what we perceive as a delay or a slow down, oftentimes can be, you know, God or the universe, the sources way of saying, I'm going to slow you down because there's some stuff I'm preparing behind the scenes. And you may need a little bit more preparation before it unfolds in your lap. Because if you're not ready for something that's big, it's coming your way. And it unfolds too early, we oftentimes can lose it. There's self sabotage and all of a sudden, it's like, wait, what happened to that, you know? Or there's other components or parties

or people involved that need to be brought into the picture that we don't see, but, you know, God, source universe are like, ah, I got to work through some people. I mean, we don't always understand that mode of thinking or why is it slowing down, you know? But if there are other people involved, oftentimes, there's some preparation. And what came to me, it was reminded that we have become a society of wanting things instantaneously. We go through fast food drive-ins, we go through, we get our coffee through fast food, you know, through the drive-through. We, you know, we call Uber Eats or whatever it is. And it brings our food, our groceries, and things happen quickly than they used to. However, sometimes when we're preparing for something that's big, there are other factors that play into that preparation that we don't see.

And we're not, you know, it's just like, I keep hearing and this is something I guess I'm needing to know. It's like planting a seed. You don't plant a seed in the garden and expect it to bloom the next day. I'm like getting that clue and that message is like, okay. That impatience monster of mine wants to come out and but I have to remember and remind myself, okay, I planted this seed, but I gotta give it time to grow. I've gotta give God universe source time to bring in all those components that need to come into for, in order for this to come to fruition. It's not gonna, it's not gonna evolve tomorrow. And, you know, it's just like anything we plant, we don't expect it to just pop right up the next day. And you need the dirt, you know, you gotta go through all the dirt and all the other stuff too, you know, the muck. I just, I just saw a little quote yesterday or this morning and it said, no mud, no lotus.

It just made up like, oh my God, that's so true. Sometimes we feel like we're just stuck in the muck and, you know, I sometimes just get this meh feeling where there's just like, ugh, I don't know, I don't have any ambition at the moment, right, motivation. And it just, it's a calling to just take a moment. The idea of things about humans, we always wanna be right and we wanna be in control. And we've talked about control so much on our, in our episodes and how, you know, we gotta let go of that because we don't have the control. But, you know, if it's like, I'm right about this and I just, I want it to go this way and I know it will be perfect and no. Just take that breath, ah, again. And it, hearing this a lot lately and it's a scientific thing, it's a metaphysical thing, it's all together. That the earth and our world is speeding up. Everything about what's going on around us is speeding up.

We have tons and tons of new inventions, a lot of, especially younger people coming up with amazing things, but it's going so fast. And to me, that means you need to take time to slow down and to go within, to be in the silence, even for a few minutes, because you will get those column-divine aha moments where you'll get those downloads and you'll say, oh, I can do this. This is what I've been missing because I've been going so fast. I haven't been paying attention. There's those flowers over there. Yeah, so take a look, look for signs as well. And I'll go into that realm too, it's like, go out on a walk and ask for a sign. And you may actually see a cloud that looks like an angel or it looks like a dog, it doesn't matter, it'll inspire you. You may see a feather right in front of your path.

These are signs, you know, you'll see coins, you'll see birds, you'll see all kinds of stuff. These are signs to tell you, you are on the right path, be patient. Which is going to lead us to a short break. We'll be right back, stay tuned. If your stomach sounds like a haunted house and your bathroom trips require a prayer, we need to talk. You, my friend, might be digestively doomed. Bloded like a parade balloon, constipated and clenching your belly like a toddler who's lost their mom at Walmart. Where are you sprinting to the bathroom so often that your toilet seat has started a long-distance relationship with your butt? Good news. You don't have to suffer in silent smelly agony. Ignoring digestive problems doesn't just stink literally. It makes you sluggish, cranky and desperate for stretchy pants. But to be serious for a second, it could lead to major issues, even disease. A happy gut means a healthy body that generates more energy has higher metabolism, better focus and the confidence to wear real jeans again.

And no, it is not a butt dial. Go to happyguts.info. Now, welcome back. Again, Sandy and I've been talking about being okay with being patient with how things are unfolding and being taking the time to be to smell the roses, see the rainbows, see the feathers, see the birds, not being so zeroed in on your path, your outcome, how things are supposed to unfold, everything, everything. I truly do believe this and I keep hearing it. So I mean, it's like, okay, you're gonna hit me over the head with this. I hear it all the time. Everything that's met for us does not matter who we are, does not matter what we do or what we want. If it's meant for us, it will come to us.

However, we may, it may circle around. If we miss it because we're so zeroed in on something else. You know, we get, I get so zeroed in on goals or intentions that sometimes I do stop and go, oh, I just missed my exit, you know. I am, and then I'm like, well, blueberries, I have to turn around, you know. If you're, it's like driving and going right past you. I mean, if you've driven any length of time or you're on freeway, you're going to fairly fast rate of speed that if you're not paying attention, you'll miss the next, especially if it's in a place that you're unfamiliar with. If you're looking for signs, you're looking for trying to pay attention to the roads, trying to pay attention to the exit. If you're not going, if you're going too fast and you're just looking ahead, oftentimes that exit will pop up and it's like, yeah, I gotta go that way. Instead of varying across four or five lanes of traffic,

you know, you may have to get over to the next exit, turn around and come back. Just my point being is take the time to be okay with slowing down, take the time with being okay to smell the roads and see the rainbows because the way you're going to achieve your goals quicker and realize that some of the things that we think we want or we need for our intentions, our goals, really aren't what we need. It's a process of weeding out those weeds and realizing that, oh, I got so a zero-dan on something that I didn't see that the people around me were trying to sabotage me or the people around me really didn't have my best interest at heart. You know, they were, they had their own agenda. It can happen, it really can. Take the time to really focus, it's okay to have the goals. It doesn't mean that, you know, by not doing anything

or slowing down and pausing, it doesn't mean you're not going to achieve your goals. Actually, we'll achieve them quicker. You will see things that are going to lead you to where you need to be. Just don't get full zeroed in like I do sometimes that you miss your exit or you miss the things that are right there. We just fail to see them. I mean, one of the things I was listening, when I was listening today, they were talking about a reticulating, reticular, deviating system. The part of our brain that, you know, when you're, for example, you're buying a car, you're thinking about buying a car, all of a sudden you start seeing that car everywhere and you're like, wait, what's this? It is our brain's way of processing that information to show you. Oh, look, there's the car. There's the car. There's the car in this color and that color. You see things that your brain processes that information so it brings it to the surface. When we are to focus, sometimes we miss those signs,

we miss that our brain's still talking to us, but it won't process the information the way we want it to process. It's giving us information that we don't necessarily need. Yeah, and if you're saying, I can't do it. I can't get there. Why am I so stuck? You will stay stuck because that reticular activating system has said, oh, she's stuck. She wants to stay stuck. That's really how that works. It's just really weird and bizarre. That took me a long time to figure that one out, but buying the car is such a good example. I've had that happen every time I wanted to make a decision on what kind of car I wanted. I would see them everywhere. But if you really want to achieve in some way, you have to think about the feeling that you want and take that into your body and take one tiny step in that direction. How might I feel this? And I just saw an exercise that could work really well. I mean, we're always telling you,

please use the emotional freedom technique, the FD tapping, do some journaling, write it down, write it out, because you will get some amazing information from your higher self. But there's also something where you move your body and you can literally just shake, like jumping down and shake your body, shake, shake, shake, really hard. Like an animal will do when they're gonna shake it off, right? And just do that and then close your eyes and take a breath. Sometimes you'll see a color or something, but just do that. And when you settle down and have your breath, take one step towards your goal and whatever that is. It doesn't matter. It might be that you need to feed yourself, drink some water, go outside, where it might be, oh, I need to sit down at my laptop today because I have XYZ to do. And just start somewhere, shake it off and start moving. And if you get up, you know,

if you get an inclination to do something, maybe you're doing some project and something drops into your mind and it's like, shake that off. Realize that that is your higher self, your highest version of you, giving you a clue is to, hey, if you do this, you're gonna go on a path that's gonna open, it has potential for opening up another door that you're wanting to open, flexible in the sense of allowing those signs, the pictures, the words, what things you hear. Like I said, I hear, I've been hearing different messages and I get confirmation because I'm not only here at once, I hear multiple times and I'm like, okay, short of hitting me on the brick, you know, with the brick over the side of my head, I get it. I'm starting to get it. You know, if they're saying something, if I hear something more than once, it's usually something that I need to take in. It's not just words that I need to hear. It's a message that I need to receive.

So take that as part of God's sources, universe, higher self's way of saying hello. I'm redirecting you. I'm gonna put you, I want you to do this because you take this action, it'll lead to another action and those actions may open different doors. Yeah, and you know, just be, okay, okay. We're gonna take a short break, we'll be right back and then we will continue this conversation. Hi, this is Sophie Zollman. Again, Cindy and I've been talking about the fact that, you know, when we set our attentions, our goals, our plans, we can become so zeroed and on achieving them that we don't stop to realize there's so much more around us. We miss the rainbows, we miss the flowers, we miss whatever it is that we need to be focusing on. Oftentimes, you know, when I do that, I miss a goal. I miss something that I'm supposed to see, but that door doesn't open because I've been so hyper focused on where I'm going, that my intuition says, hey, do this instead. And I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, I'm going this way, you know, and I keep getting the message, do this. And now I've gotten to where I'm like, okay, when I get a message, and especially if I hear it more than once, I'm like, okay, I get it.

And so I'll go a different direction. And you know, when I relax about it, and I'm not fighting that, well, why'd I get on the wrong path? What's with this, you know, things open up. Things flow better. It's like water. If you see a river, water flows downhill, and it doesn't matter if there's an obstacle, if there's rocks in the way, the water will flow around, you know, it's like anything. You can still reach your goals. Sometimes you have to take a step back and just relax in the knowing that your goals are going to come to you. But being so hyper focused on achieving them, and making sure, you know, beating yourself up for that matter, to make sure that they occur, happen in a certain manner or format, that you miss everything that's right in front of you.

Maybe there was a big giant door that says, hello, I mean, sort of hitting you over the head, saying, open me, open me, you miss it. Yeah, I've missed those. And I'm like, going, well, how'd I miss that, you know, but it was so, because I was so focused, what I wanted to achieve, that I didn't see that giant door to the left of me. Yeah, and there are times when you do take that different direction because something that was blocked and you're kind of upset and you're like, really rumbling about all of it. But then you go on and you go, and then you find out that had you gone that other way, it would have been disaster, whether it was the people, the place, the situation. You know, we've all had that kind of thing happen or we've known people have had that happen. And it's just like, listen to your, higher self, your intuition, and we all have it.

Some of us, you know, have worked on our intuition a lot, but if you just tune in, tune in, you may be clear audience like candy is. You might hear things. You may be clear-voyant where you see, you might close your eyes and see images or you might look up and see images. You may be clear-sentient where you feel, you just feel within you things. I am mostly clear-cognizant where I just know, which can be very annoying to people because I'm supposed to say, I just know. But we all have these and we all have all of them. And if you just tune in and start listening to your own body, to your own soul, and just check it, like does this feel right to me today? And you'll get to your destination in a much more calm, easier way. And something I've learned, I never believed this when I heard it.

I was in a class with Colette Baron Reed and she talked about, you know, when you do meditation and you slow down time, widens, you don't get more time. There's only so much. But the space you're in is wide or, and I have experienced that. It doesn't mean I do it all the time. But just if you give yourself permission to take that time out to do some introspection, whether it's just letting your mind wander a little bit, but do some journaling as we talk about. And you don't have to write. You can doodle, doodle draw. And actually, I just mentioned Colette Baron Reed. She has a new book that just came out. It's called The Art of Manifesting. And it's all about just making wavy lines and circles. I mean, there's a whole step-by-step manifestation process, process around it. But it is phenomenal.

So think about that. If you just doodle away yourself, and see what might come to you, you'll have these really aha moments. Like, oh my gosh, I forgot about that. I could do that. And one of the things that was just popping in is if you're hearing messages, you keep hearing a similar message, it is something, take it as a clue, that it is something you need to hear. You know, we hear things or we'll see things or, you know, and it's like, God, universe, source, higher self is speaking to you. And they're wanting you to know that they are there. And so they're gonna give you a message that is pivotal for you at that moment. And you know, oftentimes like I've heard messages and then I'm like, I dismiss it. And I'm like, eh, no, that's not me. Not for me. And then I'll hear something else. Some other, you know, I'm listening to a podcast. I'm listening to YouTube or reading a book and it'll say something similar to the same type of message. And it's like, oh, and you know,

if I try to dismiss it again, if I try to dismiss it again, you know, it's like, okay, that was two, what's the third? If it comes a third time, it's like, hello, you have got to get the clue. This is something for you. But if you're like, if I get that third message, I'm like, okay, I hear you, I hear you. Oh, I'm not, I'm not going to dismiss this. Be okay with how God source universe talks to you. We, it talks to us in different ways. And maybe you're having conversation with someone a friend or a family member or and they say something and it's like, oh, okay. And it's, it's something that you know, you need to hear. But we tend to think, oh, you know, I've got this direction. I know what I'm doing and this is the way I, I wanted to come to fruition. But you hear something that contradicts what the direction you're going.

And we tend to dismiss stuff that contradicts what we think we want. If you hear that, don't necessarily dismiss it. Us for another clue. Okay, I just heard this message. This is something I need to know. And give it some time. If it's meant for you to hear it again, I promise you will hear it. And if you ignore it and it's something you're meant to hear, I promise you you will hear it again. It'll come in short of just slapping up side the head. Be okay and know that no matter where you are, sometimes, oftentimes get removed from our path. And we are ones that we're human. We like attachments. We think, oh, you know, they're supposed to go with us or they're a good friend and they stop talking to you. They ghost you, they disappear. And you're like, wait, you were supposed to be my friend. Why are you not there?

But recognize that if someone's being removed or situations being removed from your existence and your reality, that is God's sources, universe's way of saying they are not meant to go with you. And you look at it as, you know, I've started asking, it's like, okay, what am I being prepared for in this moment? You're taking people out of my existence that I thought were gonna be with me. But not everybody's meant to go with you. Some people are there just for a season or God, I look at it as like, okay, so God saw something I didn't see and said, no, we're not gonna allow this to continue. But we get overly is the best way to put it to people, situations, events. And we tug along like kind of what's coming to my mind is Linus and Snoopy, you know, he's gonna like it. It's dust everywhere, but he's holding on to his blanket. It's like we get this type of attention to certain attachments and we don't want to let go

because we're afraid that if we go a different route, you were just, it's kind of like we're saying, God, you don't know what I mean. And God goes, oh, yes, I do, I see something so much better for you. And as long as you're holding on to what isn't serving you or a friendship or a situation or event that's no longer serving you, slow yourself down from achieving what you desire because some people in some situations and some events, they are not meant for you. They're there for a reason and a season. And the rest of it, you just talk to Kekmelipa Faye and trust that everything that is meant for you will show up. Yeah, it's what I often call being in your, you're in your uncomfortable comfort zone. And you sort of stuck there and you keep going, going, going, trying, trying, doing, doing, doing everything.

And it's not working for you but you don't know what to do and it's frustrating but you keep doing it and you're stuck there in this uncomfortable comfort zone. And so it is that thing where when the pain of staying in that position is worse than the pain of getting out of it, that's when you will change. That's when you will take a moment and listen to your inner guide, ask for help from others and take a different route, take a pause, take a breath, okay, this is not working for me anymore. What do I need to do now? And often when we get into that sort of middle place where it feels like we're on a fog, we feel like we're not moving, something bigger is coming and we're just not sure. Just take that breath. It's like when we've talked about being on the road and missing our exits and traffic, you can pull off. We're on a safe place, look for one of the rest areas

or just get to a place where it's safe enough, get out and stretch, take a breath. So do that in your own way. Take a breath, ask for guidance and however that might come for you. This is definitely something that's been impacting my life recently and I'm just like, okay, you know, I realized that sometimes my own fears get in my way. My own beliefs that things have to unfold a certain way, get in my way. And if the truth is, it's kind of like a form of self-sabotage. You know, we can self-sabotage ourselves from achieving what we desire, we get zeroed in on what we think is right. But the truth is oftentimes that redirection, that door closing, sometimes that door not opening, it's for a good. We just don't perceive it as for a good. We perceive it as, you know, why is this happening to me?

And so it just begs me to ask, okay, what is it that I need to understand about this? But it didn't know I wasn't always that person that asked that question. I for many years, I was like, why is this happening to me? What the heck, you know, I don't understand why this is happening to me. But when I began to see things from flipping the lens of it, asking a better question, I began to get better answers. And I, you know, on the night, also turned to gratitude, okay, I'm grateful that this door closed, even if I don't understand why it closed. I'm grateful that you are protecting me from whatever it is I don't see. And the more we focus on that, the more we have gratitude come to us. We have more things to be grateful for. So if you can see your life from the lens through the lens of gratitude, even the things that don't make sense

or the doors that are slamming shut, you can see things from you, you will begin to smell the roses, you will begin to see the rainbows, you will begin to see things we miss when we're not focusing, we're not resting, we're not, we're just like, I gotta go, we gotta keep on going. Because I'm gonna eat and it's like, ah, I'm on the energizer bunny, you know, just constantly moving and that doesn't get you anywhere that you wanna go. And if you find yourself feeling that meh feeling or just like, oh, can't get anywhere or whatever, I'm so stuck, it is a big call for care. Anytime we get into that caught and thought, the thought spinning in our head and not getting where we wanna be, it is a huge call for self-care. And, you know, yes, get a massage but do some other things that are just for you and make sure you take that break because if you don't,

both of us can tell you that if you don't, your body will take you down in some way. Pay attention to the signs and take that break. Five minutes at a time if you have to. Take it longer and give yourself that permission. Like, wow, I just need to breathe. I need to step back and I need to step away and get perspective on what's going on right now. Yes, we do get really into that super hyper focus and then we can't see. We can't see what else is there. Yeah, no, just remember, everything, every redirection, every time you're encouraged to pause, rest. Okay, every time you have redirection, you're pausing or required to rest, it is for your benefit. It's not meant to derail you. It may feel like a derailment because at that time you're like, wait, I wanted to go this way, but it's not. It's for your benefit, it really is.

And the more you can begin to see that, the quicker you will reach your goals. The quicker things will open up for you. Have that natural curiosity. Low, how the curiosity is. What are you going to show me today? I have been hearing this message from various guests and my family too. Laughter is the greatest thing you can bring into your life. If you make a mistake, laugh at yourself. I know. I have one that I am a work in progress when it comes to laugh, just laugh. Watch, do something, see something, pay attention to something that makes you laugh, deep belly laugh. And realize that's the greatest you can have. Any last minute words before we conclude our conversation? I absolutely love that laughter. Is the best medicine, watch some funny movies or the little shorts that you see. I love to watch cats and dogs, do stupid things, funny things with their,

anything that will get you smiling and moving in that direction. And how can you do that for yourself more often? Look for fun. Be okay with where you are and the redirection and rest and smell the roses. Ladies and gentlemen, just resonate, share it. And share it anyways, because you never know. If someone's coming to your mind that needs to hear us, hear this, they probably need to hear it for a purpose. Yeah, and remember, take the time to rest and smell the roses. You will not regret it. You're not being lazy, you're not being non-productive. You're taking time to rest and look around and smell the roses. Take care of yourself and we'll talk with you super soon.
