Portland Trail Blazers Forward, Denny Abdiha is sidelined for his 5th straight game with a back injury during what has been his best season yet. The first time All-Star was downgraded from questionable to out for tonight's matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies. He first tweaked his back just a minute into a game right after the All-Star break. After all, Abdiha has now sat out 9 of Portland's last 12 contests on top of some shorter absences earlier this year. Without him, the Blazers have struggled, going just 1 and 3 in their previous 4 games. They hold a 29 and 33 record, sitting 10th in the Western Conference with only 20 games left. Abdiha has elevated his play this year, averaging 24.4 points, 7 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game while shooting.
