When Pittsburgh Author Damon Young released his memoir, “What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Blacker,” it earned him international praise, a spot on NPR’s “Best Book of the Year” list, and took the VerySmartBros founder and former Wilkinsburg high school teacher from Pittsburgh to the world.
