Police rushed to the entertainment district spot after reports of an active shooter in exchange fire with the suspect, taking him down right away. Emergency crews got the call at 1.39 a.m. and arrived in just 57 seconds to start treating victims on site. Among the injured transported to hospitals, three remained in critical condition as officials worked the chaotic scene.
