Here's more cine news from March 5th. Ourm resources just announced strong results from its diamond drilling at the NAPIA Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa. The 870,000-ounce site keeps delivering wide zones of good-grade gold close to the surface. This latest batch comes from a 30,000-meter program at the Chaga and Godballa deposits, wrapping up assays for a resource update do this. The company drilled 26 holes totaling over 8,000 meters with 15 at Chaga and 11 at Godballa. Those spots already hold about 540,000 ounces at Chaga and 320,000 at Godballa. Ourm owns 90% of the ground, located 95 km southeast of its main Boundyalli area. Drilling manager Kaken Wang highlighted how these broad, shallow hits confirm big growth potential for open pit mining. The results show mineralization open along strike and down to over 400 meters deep, pointing to more ounces ahead.
Standout intercepts include 19 meters at 5.16 grams per tonne from 146 meters at Godballa and 18 pointne. Nine meters at 2.59 grams per tonne from 176 meters at Chaga. These build on signs of shallow artisanal mining extending deeper. Orm plans more drilling this year with an APA results feeding into its 3.9 million ounce total across projects. They have 40.2 million dollars cash and aim for a pre feasibility study at Boundyalli by April 2026, shifting toward development.
