Why are so many young people in America embracing communism? Communism promised equality. All it's done is concentrate political power rather than shared prosperity. Look at the Soviet Union, China, Cambodia, North Korea, and other communist regimes. They didn't eliminate injustice. They just replaced one form of inequality with another, and the states held enormous power over individuals, controlled speech, suppressed religion, limited free enterprise, imprisoned political opponents. And communism has been responsible for immense human suffering. It killed 30 million people in the Soviet Union, over 100 million people in communist China. And the list goes on.
