August 18 Men are not women
In the 1970s and on into the 1980s, the world was astounded and disgusted to learn that East Germany was using men in the women's competitions at the Olympics. Those men were given female hormones so that they would grow breasts and take on features of women, but they were still men. And they were winning gold medals as women. It was decided that all athletes would be checked for their chromosomes. Were they XX or XY? We discovered that the women were actually men. Common sense took over back then. We knew that God didn't design women to compete against men. So why is it that we have to go back again for such a fundamental and easy choice? And why would sane people even give an audience to those who disagree with this fundamental thing?!
