Auburn Football is now in the top four schools for George Lamont's, a four-star tight-end from Brooks County High School in Quitman, Georgia. The class of 2027 prospect narrowed his list to Auburn, Alabama, Florida, and Louisville. He's ranked as the number 11 tight-end nationally and the number 26 overall recruit from Georgia. Lamont's decommitted from Texas A&M last July and has been a hot target ever since. He recently checked out Auburn during a spring practice visit and came away impressed by the team and the warm welcome. Coaches and fans are buzzing about Auburn's momentum in his recruitment. Lamont's even noted that the Tigers are moving up his rankings after that trip. Looking ahead, he has official visits lined up with Florida on May 28th, Louisville, on June 5th, Auburn on June 12th and Alabama on June 19th.

Projections from rivals and 247 sports currently favor Auburn to snack his commitment. With Auburn holding just two pledges so far, for the class of 2026 and sitting at number 46 nationally, landing Lamont's could give. Their future class is a big boost as the visits unfold.
