Attorney General Fired, Astronauts Speak, Tiger's Arrest and more

President Trump has now fired his attorney general, Pam Bondy, making her tenure the shortest for any confirmed U.S. attorney general in 60 years. Sources say the president told her earlier this week that this could be coming. He is publicly avoiding airing every any grievances about her. He called her a great American patriot and a loyal friend when announcing that she was out, adding that she's moving to a much-needed and important new job in the private sector. Behind the scenes, though, the president, according to all the reporting, has been fuming about Bondy, frustrated with her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files and that she had not investigated or prosecuted enough of his political opponents in his view. I'd note reminder here, guys, political retribution is not the job of the attorney general of the United States, but welcome to 2026. Her tenure did see indictments of the former FBI director, James Comey, and the New York

1:03Attorney General, Latisha James, but those fell apart. Bondy is still scheduled to appear before lawmakers for a deposition about the Epstein files in a couple weeks, which house Democrats, they're still pushing to make happen. Just because her employment status changed doesn't mean she automatically forgets everything that she did to cover up on the Epstein files and forgets everything she was told to do, so it's still important that she come and speak to us. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche will now temporarily lead the Justice Department. Number two, the Intel, the new Intel. President Trump posted a new video of a huge plume of smoke rising after a strike on one of Iran's largest bridges, one of more than 12,000 targets that U.S. Central Command says that it has hit so far. There is also new seat in reporting suggesting they have more work to do if taking out Iran's missile capability is actually a goal. Roughly half of Iran's missile launchers are still intact, and roughly half of Iran's drone capability is still existing.

2:05According to multiple sources and recent U.S. intelligence assessments, that equals thousands of one-way attack drones in Iran's reserves. All of this now raises fresh questions about the President's stated timeline that the U.S. will be done with this Iran war in two to three more weeks. One source told CNN, well, quite bluntly this, we can keep effing them up, I don't doubt it, but you're out of your mind if you think this will be done in two weeks. Yesterday, more than 40 countries met to try and figure a way to reopen the straight-of-form moves to shipping traffic, which has become such a central problem in this fight. The UN Security Council is expected to vote soon on a resolution from Bahrain, allowing countries to use, quote, all defensive means necessary to traverse their critical waterway. 3. The Moon Mission. The four astronauts on the Artemis II mission have officially left Earth's orbit. They are now on their way to the moon late last night that were completed in an important maneuver called the Trans Lunar Injection Burn to set them up to slingshot the Orion spacecraft

3:09around the moon, even to the south side of the lunar surface, and then bring them back to Earth for a splashdown. Use the pilot, Victor Glover. Amazing things that humans do, moon shots for a reason, because this brought us together and showed us what we can do when we put not just putting our differences aside, when we bring our differences together and use all the strengths to accomplish something great. The historic mission will mark the first time astronauts return to the vicinity of the moon in more than 50 years. It could take them further from Earth than any human ever has, breaking the Apollo program's distance record. And as they orbit, they also have a mascot on board. This plushie, named Rise, was actually designed by a second grader from California to be the official zero gravity indicator. That is super cool. It also has a micro SD card tucked inside with the names of more than 5 million people who entered a contest to have their names sent on the mission. 4. The Body Camp footage. Police in Florida have now released videos of their interaction with Tiger Woods on the

4:12day of his latest DUI arrest. He's seen kneeling near his SUV. He's heard telling deputies. He looked down at his phone and was changing the radio right before he hit that truck that had the trailer behind it. The video also shows the field's a variety test that the deputies say Tiger Woods failed. In one, he's asked to follow an object with his eyes without moving his head. In the arrest of David, the deputies write Tiger Woods head bloodshot glassy eyes and was in no condition to drive. They found two pills in his pocket and you can hear Woods identify them on video as a narco meaning narcotics. The affidavit says they were hydrocodone. Video also shows Woods in handcuffs and in the back seat of a patrol car. He's pleaded not guilty and has requested a jury trial. More right after this. 6:14But this week, the social media account purporting to be his caretaker posted that Jonathan had died. Several media outlets even went with it. But it turns out the account was fake and the person behind that account was just trying to solicit crypto donations, prompting the real caretaker to speak up and call it out as a con. The tourism board on the island posted that Jonathan is alive and well and continues to be St. Helena's most famous resident. The governor's office on the island took it a step further and posted an actual proof of life photo with Thursday's edition of the BBC website on a tablet in the background.
