Mindy has navigated a diverse career over the last 20 years, starting as a Division Order Analyst in the oil and gas industry 🛢️, where she worked for companies ranging from small teams to major players like Exxon. Her career trajectory took an unexpected turn when she was laid off during an industry dip 📉, leading her to a transformative role in 2015 as the Program Director for a non-profit focused on supporting young girls with incarcerated mothers 👩‍👧. This six-year experience opened her eyes to the deep-seated issues within the justice system ⚖️ and left a lasting impact on her.

Mindy’s return to the oil and gas industry has her balancing her professional life with academic goals 🎓, as she pursues a Masters in Legal Studies in Energy and Natural Resources Law at the University of Oklahoma. This journey continued in 2022 when she joined her current company, where she first encountered Bitcoin 💼. The introduction to Bitcoin quickly transformed into a deep interest in its potential for social empowerment. Mindy, with her sights set on introducing Bitcoin education into the Texas prison system, is uniquely positioned to merge her knowledge and experience with a strong commitment to social justice ✊.

Outside of her professional life, Mindy enjoys spending quality time with her sweet family of five 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and finding joy in the simple pleasures of life 🌸.
