Astrology for the Soul January 26, 2022

Inner silence is the key,
To knowing all I am.
It stills my mind and allows my soul,
To take the reins of my will in its hands.

The “trapeze artist” is another way of feeling into this death/resurrection process going on with Mercury now for the next two weeks and then Venus/Mars. We have swung as far as our current trapeze (identity) can take us. We need to let go of that trapeze, and when we do, we are “in the void,” nothing to hold onto, flying solo through space. It is a long way down to the safety net, and we must be awake, present, strong, and ready to take hold of the empty, flying trapeze ahead of us.

We need to surrender to the unknown, release the known and enter into a state of true faith, hope, and trust in the mysterious, in the “force of life,” in Spirit. A bit like cliff diving and some other sports where confidence in your body, your Self, and in Life gives you the courage to let go. In this space, this limbo, we allow our soul/spirit to carry us forward toward our destiny here on earth. We don’t know where we’re going or what’s going to happen. It can be frightening.

Yet this is precisely where and when the magical, spiritual beings catalyze our process of metamorphosis that transforms us from the old, earthbound caterpillar to the colorful butterfly. Fear, lack of faith, hope, and knowing can lead us to resist this process. This is to our own and the world’s detriment. Fighting the evolutionary process is a causal factor of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual pain. Let’s not be dragged into the new paradigm, bruised, victimized, and powerless. Instead, let us open our Heartmind to the reality of Spirit and its working in the material world, especially through us as human beings!
