Astrology for the Soul January 17, 2024

As I step into my power, 

Transform and let go of my fear,

We can either fear or welcome the death/rebirth transformation symbolized by this week's (exact on Saturday) Sun conjunct Pluto on the threshold of Aquarius. Are you ready to step into your power, be genuinely authentic, and deal with the consequences that will result? Let's not forget that Aquarius liberates us from conventional norms, including judgments from external "authorities."

A metaphor might be that you are climbing up a mountain (perhaps Mt. Everest?), and your backpack is just too big and heavy (or maybe breaks a strap), and if you're going to make it to the top, you have to leave it with all your stuff, behind. What are ya gonna do? You can't take it with you! Gonna stay with your stuff or keep on truckin?

So this week offers us a chance to let go of whatever or whoever is not in alignment with our "future self." This can feel like we're "going it alone," losing what we've built up to support us, and/or feel like we're lightening our load, are freer than ever, and can now race to the top of our game! 

I like Huey Lewis and the News' song this week: The Power of Love. "You don't need money,  don't take fame. Don't need no credit card to ride this train. It's strong, and it's sudden, and it's cruel sometimes, but it might just save your life. That's the power of love (Spirit)."
