Astrology for the Soul August 17, 2022

Love is more than I have been told,
It's the teacher and purpose of life.
It breaks my heart open again and again,
Exposing my truth and my lies.

This week is an interesting mix of sweetness (Venus trine Jupiter) and possible illusions/delusions as Mercury opposes Neptune. It's a good time to watch ourselves (and others) as we tell ourselves stories that may or may not be "actual reality.) There is sometimes a fine line between imagination and deception, and we're walking it this week. So keep those eyes and ears wide open!

Hopefully, you have been taking joy, building confidence in your creative genius, and shining like the Sun this last month of Leo time. The more we have, the more we can give, and the bigger the heart, the more generous, loving, and tolerant we become. When criticism, challenges, fault-finding, or condemnation come along, it is helpful to have a large reservoir of self-love to avoid being taken completely down.

Mars entering Gemini will bring a slew of new contacts, relationships, and opportunities. Take this time to clear your relationship space of old, outworn, ill-fitted connections to make room for the new! As one door closes, another will open, but just as in walking, you need to pick up your back foot, let go of the past support, and swing it forward to take that next step. Blessings on your journey!
