Asteroid scathes Earth, close miss! | #279

About this episode

Editor’s note: The mainstream media is not explaining the dangers of a NASA miscalculation and the fact that planetary defense systems have been activated. This is not a drill, and let’s hope nothing happens.

A truck-size asteroid will make the fourth closest ever documented approach to Earth and skim past the planet on Thursday at 7:26 pm Eastern Standard Time at the height of roughly 2,000 miles, give or take, prompting a red alert.

The city-killer asteroid travels 20,736 miles per hour and will scathe the Pacific Ocean to the west of Chile.

Scientists are still determining if the asteroid discovered last Saturday would hit but are monitoring the situation closely.

If, by chance, the asteroid does happen to impact the Pacific Ocean, massive tsunami waves and debris will travel outward at high speed, destroying everything in the way.

Planetary defense systems have been activated. What matters now is how much the sizeable rocky chunk from space will deviate in its entry keyhole. Any slight deviation from what NASA has already predicted could cause catastrophic damage to the planet. Mainly because of the speed at which the object is traveling. However, with the recent discovery of 2023 BU, NASA has only accumulated data for about five days. This is not ideal because there needs to be more to go on when calculating a trajectory.

To boot, the asteroid can hit a satellite as it passes through the Geo and cause a chain reaction, sending many more crashing down to Earth along with debris.
