Arson Attack in Hendon: Police Seek Witnesses

0:00On April 18th, police are investigating an arson attack on a shop in Hinden after a man walked up around 1031 pm on Friday, April 17th, with a plastic bag holding three bottles of fluid. He set the bag on fire next to the building, but the bottles did not fully ignite, so he ran off, leaving just minor damage to the front and no one. Counterterrorism officers are leading the probe because of similarities to other recent arson's in Northwest London, though they're not connecting. This one yet to attacks last week, or the one in Golders Green last month. Community leaders have voiced worries since that Golders Green incident and local police get it, saying this ramps up the fears in the area. Right now, no one's been arrested, but expect more cops on the streets, including armed patrols and special teams, trained to spot trouble before it, starts.
