Creativity is an addiction. Unplugged because we will always say yes to creativity. Totally uncut because we all make mistakes. So let's turn it into a tool. This is Arrow Unplugged. Hey it's Arrow and this is Vocal Defrag. Defragging is an opportunity for you to do exactly that. We defrag our computers all the time, clear out the cache A and everything else. Oh yeah. Otherwise your computer gets all clogged up. Why wouldn't the mind body and soul be the same thing? What are you doing to defrag? Now I keep a written defrag journal. I've been doing that since November of 2017. But as I was growing with the process and learning how to teach the art and love of defragging, I couldn't just let people into my journals, but what would you get? Nothing more than an interpretation. So with Vocal Defragging it gives you the opportunity to listen to the pitch, volume, and tone. To vocally document your questions. And then when you come up with an answer, you question the answers. Sounds like a pressurized job, doesn't it? Like maybe you're trying to mother and father your life.
Well yeah, why not? Leadership is a great thing in an everyday world where the world is at war, but here we are. We're standing in a place of what is right now. And it's an opportunity for you to ask the questions and then question the answers. Don't ask me the questions because you don't need to hear my love-sided answer. Ask yourself the question. Try to figure out where you are, why you are, and who you are. And you know, for some, that's like a lifelong journey. It's a process of growing forward. This is Vocal Defrag. The subject today? Two letters. I-S-Is. That's it. Just is. It's what you connect is, too. That becomes the map maker or the destroyer of the map. What is, how is, why is, where is, should is be a part of our decision-making. Well, I shouldn't
even ask that. You already know is, is everything. So what is the realism of is? Why do we use is, as being that connector to our next decision? And really, is it your decision or somebody else's decision? And if that decision from another person ends up being a mistake, guess who ate the bait? We've all been there. We continue to be there. A lot of people call it biz-ness. Yeah, just put a bee in front of that is. Biz-ness. Learning to understand your is is going to take a lot of questions. And when you find some answers, you're going to have to question that, too, because we are confronted every day by the power of is. The decisions that we make in the next five minutes, three hours, seven days, or a month is going to be based on the several shapes that is
takes the realism of is. Now, one of the things that I had to deal with today in my daily writing was, how do you retract from a dream? Is that a place of comfort, discomfort, growth, is it a place of replenishing, retracting a comment from a dream while facing the word is? The question is, is that do we even know how to retract something from a dream? I was doing some research on REM and research shows that 80 to 90% of what we experience inside REM is remembered. Any other place of sleep, we don't remember. But as I dreamt that comment this morning, the retracting of a thought in your dream, when I woke up and realized, oh, well, I was in a dream. I did not remember why that comment was in my dream. I had no content. I only had a comment. What is the next step?
How does it change the destination of how we think? How is it going to affect what it is that I do live out? Why is the effect of a comment such as retract that from a dream affecting me several hours after waking? Retracting is pulling back. It's breaking free of. What was taking place in your dream last night that you don't want to deal with today? If during REM 80 to 90% of what you dream is remembered, why did you retract 10% of that journey? How did the word is become your controlling factor in decisions being made? Is it really the ruler of your self-kingdom? Why is your next thought based on something that your thoughts rode out several hours ago and yet it's not plain out in your presence of now? Is is a very important
word in the digestion of your current position. Learning to listen to the realism of is. Why not ask the question, is that really how it went? Is it going to really go the way that I'm processing my assumption? Is my reality nowhere near what I put up on social media? Is put focus on it? Ask the questions, question the answers. You're going to learn so much about the self that you are. Not the one that other people assume you are because they've got opinions. You've got opinions somewhere in the middle you may clash but you'll get along at least for the moment until one of you is ghosted. Is that a way to walk? Is is your focus? The realism of is. Ask the question, question the
answers. I'm Errol. That's vocal B for writing.
