Armed Robbers Target Markham Business, Police Seek Suspects

0:00It's March 20th, here's your Canada News in two minutes. York Regional Police are asking for the public's help after an armed robbery at a business near Woodbine and 14th avenues in Markham. It happened Thursday around 2.50 a.m. when three suspects with guns forced customers into one room demanded cash and phones, then fled south in a dark sedan. No one was hurt. Police described the first suspect as a thin black male and a black hooded jacket, pants, shoes, Nike gloves, balaclava, and carrying a handgun. The second is a thin white male and a blue hooded sweater, black pants, white shoes, black gloves, balaclava, also with a handgun. The third is a thin black male and a black jacket over a dark blue hoodie, black pants, shoes, one glove, balaclava, and a gray backpack. Meanwhile, in other news, Halton Police charged 33-year-old Adrian Deanare and for Mrs. Saga with breach of trust for allegedly smuggling, contraband into Mabelhurst jail.

Hamilton Police won help ID-ing a graffiti tagger, known as Casper, caught on video last October vandalizing a building in the center mall area, with links to other incidents.
