Are You There God? It's Me (your name)

“I’ve been looking for you God. I looked in temple. I looked in church. And today, I looked for you when I wanted to confess. But you weren’t there. I didn’t feel you at all” This is a quote from the 1970's book, Are You There God? It's Me Margaret by Judy Blume. No, today's episode is not about this book, rather the title is very fitting for today's conversation and parts of the book's theme is also relevant.

Have you ever felt like Margaret? Even though she is a fictional character, I believe as Christian women we know all too well those moments when God feels distant. Those moments when we wonder, "Are you there God?" Sometimes when we pray the silence is deafening and it is in these moments that the enemy speaks loudly to us. He tells you that yes, God has forgotten about you. He tells you, yes you are a nobody. He tells you, yes the world would be better off without you in it. He tells you lie after lie after lie because he is the Prince of Lies.

Sister, if you are currently struggling with this feeling of God not being there or if you have struggled multiple times in your life with this feeling, then I know this episode will help you greatly!
