About this episode
A young hatchling who emerges from his shell while his parent is away searching for food. Because he is alone, the confused creature wanders away from his nesting place to search for his parent. Throughout his journey, he encounters various animals and machines, including a kitten, a cow, and a large excavator, asking each if they are his missing relative. The story reaches a climax when the mechanical shovel lifts him back to his original branch just as his mother returns. Ultimately, the two are happily reunited, and the infant finally recognizes his mother for who she truly is.
