0:00I might camp in with an AP newsman. Officials in Hawaii are urging residents to prepare for heavy rains and flooding as hurricane low approaches. Robbie Berg, a warning coordination meteorologist with the National Hurricane Center says low is forecast to bring not just heavy rain but also high wind. We're actually expecting heavy rainfall across the entire state. Low is bringing up a pretty large area of moisture from the south. And so we think there could be heavy rainfall totals for all of the Hawaiian Islands. Some areas of Hawaii's big island could get up to 12 inches of rain. Jaguar Land Rover has announced plans to cut 4,000 jobs globally to reduce cost and compete with Chinese electric car makers. The company hopes to achieve $2.3 billion in savings over the next two years. The savings will support investments in electrification and digital technologies. I'm Mike Hempen.
