I Marcelo Sanchez with an AP News Minute. The UK government says France and Canada will join it in banning goods from Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, where Britain says settler terrorists are carrying out ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. In New York, Jury selection is scheduled to start today in the case against Huawei technologies. The leading Chinese tech company has been charged by US authorities with stealing technology and trade secrets. US prosecutors also claim it installed surveillance equipment that enabled Iran to spy on protesters and violated US sanctions on North Korea, Huawei denies the allegations. US Southern Command has sunk another Ecuadorian vessel that the US alleges was linked to the criminal group Los Choneros.
