Brent Crude, the international standard, settled above $101 per barrel. That didn't go over well on Wall Street. Cess Soutel has closing numbers. The S&P 500 lost half a percent. The Dow gave back 405 points that's about 8-10 percent. The Nasdaq composite dropped 6-10 percent. Higher oil prices have gotten investors worried about inflation, which is already stubbornly high. Treasury yields moved higher in the bond market. The yield on the 10-year Treasury rose to 4.84 percent. Seth Soutel, New York. In U.S. gas prices spiked as well, Triple A puts the national average for regular grade above 4.22 per gallon. That's up 7 cents from yesterday, and more than a dollar from a year ago.
