0:00I'm Ed Donahue with an AP News Minute, stocks finish lower. The Dow down 405 points. The reason? Higher oil prices because of rising tensions in the Middle East. President Trump was asked, how long will it last? Right after the election, oil prices are going to be tumbling downward. The president at the outset said the war with Iran would last a matter of weeks. The conflict is now in its seventh month. I think the war will end immediately after the election. Because they can't hold out any longer. They're desperate to try and affect the election so that we can get a nice week group of people in there and leave them alone and let them have their nuclear weapon. All they want is a nuclear weapon. And if they had a nuclear weapon, the whole world is in deep trouble. President Trump last week downplayed the conflict in Iran as small potatoes. Even as Republicans expressed concern, the war will loom large with voters in the midterms in November. I'm Ed Donahue.
