I'm Julie Walker with in AP News Minute. Karen Shama's reports on deadly Israeli strikes in Lebanon. Israel's Air Force carried out two strikes early Monday on a southern Lebanese village, killing at least nine people, including a child and two women. Lebanon's health ministry said one of the strikes hit a building which killed eight people and 11 people were also wounded, including four children and two women. The ministry says another strike on a car in the village killed a Lebanese paramedic. The strikes come a day after four Lebanese people were killed in Israeli strikes on villages in southern Lebanon's Nabatee province. Russia and North Korea opened the first road bridge across their shared border over the Tumen River. A development Russian officials are hailing as boosting the nation's deepening ties. Relations and exchange programs between the countries have been flourishing in recent years with North Korea supplying ammunitions and troops to support Russia's war against Ukraine.
