I'm Mike Hempon with an AP News Minute. The judge in Lindsey Clancy's trial has given her defense one hour to appeal after saying he was going to declare a mistrial. This came after jurors reported for the third time that they couldn't reach a unanimous decision on whether Clancy is criminally responsible for killing her three children in 2023. Clancy's attorney claims she had postpartum psychosis. Prosecutors argue she knew her actions were wrong. The jury has been deadlocked and if they can't agree, a mistrial could be declared leading to potential retrial or plea negotiations. The US job market rebounded in August as employers added a surprising 162,000 jobs unemployment stayed at 4.1%. The jobs report issued by the Labor Department could be good news for President Trump two months before the midterm elections. I'm Mike Hempon.
