I'm Ed Donahue with an AP News Minute. The government says wholesale inflation picked up last month after cooling earlier this summer. Oil and gas prices as a result of the war in Iran are higher. Meet on the real estate market is struggling. Cells of GBS Lee occupied U.S. Homes declined in August to their slowest annual pace in more than a year. As home shoppers grappled with rising mortgage rates and home prices, home cells fell 2% in August from the previous month for a third, straight monthly decline, who has seasonally adjusted annual rate of 3.98 million units. Cells also fell 1.2% compared to a year ago. For prices, still ticked up. The median sales price increased 1.6% from a year earlier to $429,100. An all-time high for the month of August.
