Anthony Walker Jr. Retires After Nine-Year NFL Career

0:00On April 2nd, former Browns linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. just made his retirement official after a nine-year NFL career across four teams. He spent four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Three in Cleveland, and one year each with the Miami Dolphins and Tevbe Buccaneers. Last season, he suited up for just two games and called it quits before his 31st birthday. His retirement graphic highlighted only his Colts and Browns days skipping the rest. Meanwhile, we're still waiting for word on whether offensive lineman Joe Betonio is hanging up his cleats too. In Cleveland from 2021 to 2023, Walker stepped up as a key leader in the locker room. Injuries held him back though, limiting him to 28 games with 27 starts, including just three appearances in 2022. Over his whole career, the Northwestern product wrecked up 581 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, 21 passes defended, 5.5 sacks, 4 picks, and 4 fumble recoveries.
