Ronnie Doumitt is the founder and current President of Answering the Call (ATC), a Kansas City Metro area first responder nonprofit that financially aids our metro area Police, Fire and EMT/Paramedics, and their families, when the first responder suffers a severe injury or illness. Additionally, Ronnie is a 20 year veteran of the Lee’s Summit Police Department and is currently assigned to the Community Interaction Unit.
Ronnie started ATC in 2015 after a friend and colleague, who was a detective in the Lee’s Summit Police Department, suffered a sudden and severe illness. Ronnie learned that Det. Ward’s family was starting to struggle financially.
