Angie Redford has proudly called West Boise home for more than 10 years. As a wife, mother, and longtime community volunteer, Angie knows firsthand the importance of strong schools for our families and community.

Elected to the West Ada School Board, Angie quickly became known as a steady, principled voice who works hard to ensure our schools reflect the values of Ada County families. She has built a record of:

• Fiscal responsibility – protecting taxpayer dollars and ensuring resources go directly to the classroom.
• CTE Expansion- Partnering with local businesses to connect students with internships and apprenticeships, and expanding course offerings. 
• Safe schools – prioritizing student safety and student support with common-sense policies.
• Academic excellence – keeping the focus on strong fundamentals, preparing students for success in life.
• Parental involvement – standing up for parents’ rights and ensuring families always have a voice in education.

As West Ada experiences record growth, Angie has worked to make sure our district can meet the challenges of tomorrow; without losing sight of what matters most today: students, parents, and teachers.

Angie’s leadership has earned her the trust of families across Meridian and Ada County because she leads with integrity, listens to concerns, and takes action.

Here We Have Idaho is a local radio show heard on KSPD 790 AM and 94.5 FM at 4pm on Wednesdays and Fridays.  Here We Have Idaho is a  show focusing on celebrating Idaho and all that makes Idaho great.  Hear We Have Idaho will focus on the issues and events that impact Idaho’s citizens and families.  Each week we will visit those that are writing Idaho’s story and keeping the spirit of our state song alive with hosts Victor Miller and  Tom Luna.
