Andrew Tyler Brown

Red Barn Radio

About this episode

Hailing from the foothills of rural Eastern Kentucky, Andrew Tyler Brown  has been deeply rooted in Bluegrass, Country and Old-Time music from an  early age. Growing up in a family with a touring musician parent,  Andrew has come to music in  very organic fashion.  After receiving his  first guitar at eight, music seemed to be the most logical path.   Quickly adding piano, bass, singing, mandolin, autoharp and songwriting  to his arsenal, Andy starting playing throughout the South at an  aggressive rate.  Having shared the stage with artists such Chera-lynn  Kennedy, 2012 National Dulcimer Champion Sara-Kate Morgan, progressive  contra dance band Euphor, internationally touring band Sundy Best along  with numerous others; He’s built a reputation for his progressive  upright bass playing, his distinctive singing voice and easy-going  attitude.
