Andrew Peak's Tragic Motorbike Crash

0:00On March 26, a 58-year-old dead and former Army serviceman named Andrew Peake died after a motorbike crash on the M60 motorway near Stottport, last July. He was riding anti-clockwise between junctions 25 and 24, around 130 pm when he veered off the carriageway. Emergency crews rushed him to software role hospital, but he passed away two days later from severe injuries. Former group in Wythenshaw served four years in the Queen's fuseliers, starting at age 17 and later managed pest control for Manchester, City Council, colleagues honored him by retiring his desk after his death. Motorbikes were his lifelong passion. He got his first Honda at 16 and recently bought a triumph he cherished, especially after losing his wife. Don earlier that year, his son George called him the best dad ever, always smiling and helping others despite his grief. The family has struggled deeply with George saying it forced him to grow up fast.

Police from the serious collision investigation unit found perfect sunny conditions, no bike faults, no other vehicles involved, and no health issues. CCTV showed him in the outside lane around a bend, but they couldn't pinpoint speed or cause just that he lost control suddenly. The corner ruled it a tragic road traffic collision, with no obvious reason identified, possibly a brief lapse even for an experienced rider like Andrew. His family praised the emergency teams and plans to race funds for the Northwest Air Ambulance in his memory.
