Friends and co-workers remembered Andrew as much loved and well respected for touching so many lives. Police from the serious collision investigation unit found perfect sunny conditions, no bike faults, no other vehicles involved, and no health issues. CCTV showed him in the outside lane around a bend, but they couldn't pinpoint speed or cause just that he lost control suddenly. The corner ruled it a tragic road traffic collision, with no obvious reason identified, possibly a brief lapse even for an experienced rider like Andrew. His family praised the emergency teams and plans to race funds for the Northwest Air Ambulance in his memory.
