Welcome back in. It is the midday show here on 94 WIP, broads and Al Morgani in for the fellows as we gear up for Labor Day weekend. Al, you do it all right over that in the YouTube comments. Not that we're supposed to look at the YouTube. You always says you don't look at the YouTube, but apparently they're roasting you because of your microphone set up and where your chair was. I have no idea where the camera is. Well, now you look beautiful on our TV screen. Now I hope we got squared away. Oh, I don't know. We'll get texts. We'll get texts. I don't worry about it. You don't worry about what you look like. What do you mean? Doesn't matter. Oh, not at all. No, not at all. Oh, okay. No, they just, just what you say. Whoever would show me that my tattoos when I get older, I'm going to look like an idiot and all that, but you're saying it shouldn't matter. It doesn't matter. No, you don't care when you get older. You call it like, you know, heard of FU money. I've heard that. Yeah, I don't have any. I don't need that. Did you see my, did you see my Jalen tattoo yet? I don't want to. You don't want to? No. I can pull my pants up and you can see it. It can make them dance. It's really funny. I think my thigh starts dancing.

And do that for your wife. Yeah, I do that. Trust me. I do a lot of things for my wife. That's how I have my beautiful two daughters. That's a huddle that I want to be in. What? It's a good time. 2155929494. I like your work at home today. That's good. What do you mean? I'm like, I'm like, where is everybody? I'm like, what the hell is going on? It's like, I listened in the morning and I just stubby's in there with the camera, right? It's like, okay. Like, I look around and go, where's, you know, I listened the last couple of weeks. I mean, then the afternoon, like, I take off once a week because he thinks it'd be breaks 90s going to get a FedEx cup. So he's one day a week. He's gone. And then Spike, you know, dresses up and his polar bear outfit to go see the Beastie boys. A horrible. The Backstreet boys. Not the Beastie boys. What if I was respect to Beastie boys? He's gone. And Jack, you know, Jack's trying to have more kids than Elon Musk. So he's gone forever. He's done. Listen to the morning. I think she's on the South Jersey Riviera. She's gone one day a week. Richie went from the dating game to the newlywed games. You don't see him one day a week.

The camera's on the love boat twice a month. It's like, what's it going on here? Oh, man. I don't even know where to go from here. I got, are you mentioning golf? Because we went golfing together, right? Yes, we did. How do you think I played that day? You actually could be a good golfer. I can't put to say my life. Well, that's just a learned thing. But you hit, you hit like when I first started playing golf. Like, everything like a, like a American player, you just flat and hit a three iron, a three wood on a par three. I'm using a seven iron. You're using a three wood. But where'd it go? It went perfect. I know. No, you're back. No, you're back. That's your right to. I dude, I take a 70 to 60% swing. And I try and hit it straight every time. Because the second I try and pull power into it, my hips open up. Where else? I pull. I do the whole thing. I have to learn. Go with Ike once a week. Yeah, I don't learn. I'll learn how to break 90. Yeah, that's what I should do. All right, 21559294904. Are you feeling more fearless? Like Al Morgani is feeling as we enter this Atlanta series? Or are you feeling like me?

Fingitty. Because I'm getting all shaky. I'm getting all nervous. I'm thinking about Chris sale, shoving eight eightings down our throat later on today at CBP. But before we get back to your phone calls here, Al, you mentioned Andrew Painter. Yeah. I am so fascinated to see how Don Mattingley utilizes Andrew Painter as we gear up for a postseason run. I go back to last year against the Dodgers, right? You got Dave Robbert here he is. I got to use glass now here. I got to do this. I got to do that. You got to get creative and versatile, especially with the bullpen that is very in my opinion, to get to DeRan. Do you see a world where Don Mattingley goes, yo, Painter, we need you for the seventh. Do you think they're going to utilize him as a Swiss army knife or do you think they like his stuff so much that they like his ceiling as a starter, as maybe a fourth starter, overhand in the keys to a nose. I think they'll probably, they would prefer Nola if they, he's been there done that. And I think when you're Painter, it's like at that point in your career,

you don't have that money in the bank, literally, to kind of command that's where you're going to go. It's like whatever, whatever. He's still at that point. Everybody should be in the playoffs, whatever it takes. I'll do whatever it takes. And I'm sure they would all answer that way. Sure. And then I think I would think it would be easier to do that. I mean, for Painter, it's a perfect situation to come into. It's, if you're a, to be on a team that's going deep and it's going to make a playoff run, hopefully, to come in and be a real integral part of it, to come in. And I like him coming in much better than I like Nola. I'm just, as much as I like Nola, and really he's been sturdy, he's been a real, a real gutted out type of guy, no complaints. So you can, you know, people bury him, you never hear boo out of him. But I don't trust him to come in because of the home runs. Sure. Yeah, he's not a bullpen guy. I much rather have pain or there. And I think he'd be excited about that opportunity to do that. I agree. Like I could see a world where if there's trouble and there's someone on first base, one out,

it's the seventh inning of a playoff game, I trust Andrew Painter to come in and get that out or the notes. Absolutely. Everybody watching, listening to be, no, Painter, Painter, bring him in, bring him in. And what a difference that is from a month, six weeks, whatever it is. But we saw Rob, and I know he's not here anymore, but with Ranger Suarez, he could have used him out of the pen in game one, even though he was your game three starter, and you could have done that song and dance. And I'm not sure about that, Mattingly. I don't know. I haven't seen that in the moment, hostile situation, pull the right strings kind of thing. But is he gonna think the game that way? Is he gonna think, even if Painter starts, forget, you know, bullpen only kind of thing. But if he's projected to start, there could be a world where you can use him out of the pen in game one, and still start a game three. Are we going to pull that lever, or are we gonna go with Orion Frickin Kirkering, who's probably gonna walk the first two guys, or, you know, like, I need you to be thinking that way. That's how you're gonna have to win these games. No? This is my advantage. I mean, I gotta think, Mattingly,

somehow we're in a spot where you have a manager who you're wondering if it isn't the last run, even if you're chasing a world series with what's gone on. I think it's pull out every stop in this situation to come in and win whatever. And I think Painter at this point would be that guy. I don't think there's any, I don't think there's gonna be any allegiance to, this is the way we've done it before, or this guy or in that, or whatever. And I mentioned Turner earlier, but that's the shortstop. You're not gonna mess with that at this point. But if I were your pitching staff, it's whatever working right now. It's as simple as that, whatever's working right now. And to the point where if Willa was still struggling, what do you do? If Willa was still struggling, the Jardo? Yeah, I mean, that's where you're gonna go. You're not gonna pull them out of a rotation, but there's still plenty of runway to see. Look at this series here, the matchups we have here, the guys coming in, this series to me, I don't wanna say win or lose, but how you perform in these things, that goes a long way. This is a big moment. I know a big moment for these guys.

I know, that's why it's all that's on my mind if my body shakes all day when I think about it. Let's go to Bam and Upper Darby. Hey, Bam. Hey, what's going on, gentlemen? How you doing? We're doing great, Bam. How you feeling about this big series coming up? I feel great, man. I mean, it's the breeze, bro. We got to beat the breeze. I mean, we gotta get on top so we can bring a chip to the city. It'll be great if we can get all four teams to get a chip to the city, man. Well, of course it would be. That implies the flyers are getting that Stanley Cup now. How about that? It's gonna be a while before you're for Parade. What do you mean, Mitch Koff? Yeah, he looks in shape. That's adorable. He looked adorable. We'll chew on that a little bit later. But, hey, Bam, what else you got on your mind here when it comes to this squad? I think that, you know, the Luzardo needs to be with a coach, Sai Young. Well, I don't know if he's gonna win the Sai Young, but I do appreciate your, you pointing out the fact that he's been that dominant. He's the guy that I feel most comfortable about right now.

If I need one game today, Zeus is getting that baseball over wheels, over Sanchez, over any of these cats. Luzardo has been insane. And at a time where you need it, because when you're leaking oil from your one and two punch, you need everyone else to step up and rise to the occasion and they all have. Absolutely. And I'm gonna leave you with this one. I'm a three from four, you know, fill it off with a sports fan. What do you like about that son and a Sacramento? Measureable. Bam, a miserable. I appreciate your call. He's a Sacramento Kings guy. And they got Ben Simmons today. Well, Ben Simmons. He's a champion. They're obviously fishin'. Fish and champion. Fish and champion. You know what they should do? They should do what Detroit throws the octopus on the ice. Throw a fish. They go. Throw a fish on the hardwood. Well, December 27th, they're here or I think, or January 27th. Oh, you looked up the date. I think it's January 27th. You go into the game? I don't know, I can't afford those six or six. Yes, you can. Yes, you can. I know you can. You see those prices?

I'm sure it's a million dollars. I could see you standing there in the 100 section, Bill and Ben Simmons to your face turns purple. I want a card on the floor. Yeah, you can do something like that. I cannot believe he's back. I, it's amazing to me. It's a, but I will say much as he, he can't shoot. He can play defense. So I guess if you're a particular, if you're a particular team, you know, bench come in, play some D, maybe that works out. I just, it couldn't work here. I mean, TK, I was on with him on Sunday and he was, he was suggesting bring him back. Oh, no. I was like, no, he, he was, I think his question was, it was actually interesting. TK has an interesting mind. Which guy would you want to have back more, Wenz or Simmons? Oh. Oh. Well, Simmons. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. But I'm trying to, I don't like the backup quarterback situation, but Carson Wenz would have made me feel better.

But he's just as bad as the Andy Dalton's in the Tanner McKee's. But do I really want to live with the experience of that, that nonsense of number 25 coming back to town? No, or Simmons. Yeah, that's what, yeah, yeah. No, I don't want to want. I don't want to win. Yeah, I don't want any of those guys. No, it's like the other one. Yeah, the town. Can I have a third option TK? Can he give us a third option? He only had two. Well, come on. Can he ride a bike? Can TK ride a bike? He's, he put on a video. I saw it. It was, it was, it was, did you see the counter video? Because he put the original one up where it looked like he couldn't reach the pedal. Then he did it. Then he was down the shore and he looked very, in control. Yeah, I was racing bike, which is not, not easy. Yeah, yeah. So you think he can do it? You think he put that to bed? He put that to rest. Yeah, he can ride a bike not well, but he can ride a bike. I wouldn't trust them to teach his children. But that's a big step as a father. Well, no, let his, let his wife do it. Ah, man, isn't that come with the territory of, of being the man of the household? I got to teach my kids how to ride the bike. Oh, no, no, no, I can't do that.

Just find out, no, no, it's just as good. I mean, they actually listen to the, to the wife more. My daughter learned from, you know, of course she coached her in every sport. So she, she wouldn't listen to me. Well, I'll go through that process now. I don't know if it's going to be like, right? It's different. It's like feeling in the world. Yeah, but I mean it with sports, it's, never tell you a little cross story. No. So my daughter's going to play lacrosse. Okay. She's really little six, five, whatever it is. And like I played a little bit of lacrosse. And I like bring her in the backyard. We get the lacrosse sticks. And like, and I'm like, hit, you know, send in the ball over to her. And it's like, she's not like catching a really well. But she's four or five, whatever it was. And I'm like, it's not my child. It's not. It's going up. Oh, it's going up. It's going up. It's going up. I tried. I didn't know that the girls sticks were different. Yeah. Dude, the whole, the whole rule. I couldn't, yeah. I go to cradle. Like the pocket is so much different. It's like, this is really hard.

Yeah. I know. All right. So you learn the hard way. Yeah. Well, so my one daughter, my youngest, I'll tell you what, we have our little playroom. And we got all these different toys or blah, blah, blah. My youngest, who's won. It's a scary, but I'm also very intrigued. Yeah. She runs to the mini hockey stick. Yeah. Yeah. What a play. Single day. Yeah. Every day she goes for that mini hockey stick. Do not let her be a goalie. No, no, no, no, no. The only way there's a goalie involved. And I don't even think I would do this. But I've seen this in the past. Yeah. Where the one son or daughter is the goalie, the other one plays out. So then when they go on the driveway, you pepper the goalie. Yeah. You got to play where you got the goalie in the net with the my leg pads. I coached a couple of twins. One was a goalie. One was a forward. Yeah. You do some of those. Yeah. It was pretty good. But you can bring it to your men's games. Yeah. Yeah. We're in the championship. I'm going to win the cup. I'm going to have a cup parade. If we win, I'm doing a Stanley Cup party. When's the game? Here's the problem now. I'm a huge predicament. What?

The championship game is next Wednesday at nine o'clock. Oh, you got it. Oh, you're already already. You're already pumped up. I'm on the air. No, you're not. I'm on the air. You're covering it. Are you covering my 10p to 2a shift? So I can go play with the others? There is no way in hell. Alborgani is doing a Wednesday and Wednesday. I'll come and eat it to you. And long as you guarantee you win. Well, I don't know. We're playing the, we're playing militia. They were good. militia is really good. Melissa? militia. They're the militia. But it's a big game. Oh, man. I'll come. You cannot miss that game. I agree. I think we should bring a chance live. I know. When it's league champion chicken. Yeah. You have a station here where I just went through the absenteeism. Yeah. And you're telling me you can't miss a 10 o'clock shift. I respect the credit. You have a championship game? Well, unlike others, I respect the program. No. What do you mean? You lose, you lose all sorts of credibility. If you don't show up, well, I played men's legs forever. Uh-huh. We had one guy that didn't show up. I never talked to him the rest of the world. Listen, I know.

I see the group chat fired off. No, they're not happy about this. You cannot miss this game. Trust me. I feel that. I feel what you're saying. But I also have a family to feed. No, you can feed. I'll come in working. You can get paid. You're not missing this game. Hold on a second. I'm also getting paid for this. And you're doing this for free. Because I don't want you to. Clip it. People aren't going to respect you. You can't have a champion. You played with these guys a season. Oh, yeah. And then you don't show up for a championship game. It's a three hour shift. It's trouble. Are you crazy? Four hour shift. You're nuts. Four hour shift. That's awful. People need my opinion on Jalen Hertz. They don't know how I feel yet. They don't know your opinion. They don't know yet. That's, they're not sure. That's a bad. I will listen. That's a real. Yeah, that's a. I haven't made the decision yet. You were supposed to go to the game. Oh, that's a skunk. Oh, I want to blast the people. That's terrible. Two one five five nine two ninety for a night. How do I handle this situation?

Championship men's league game. Next Wednesday at nine o'clock. I'm on the air at 10 o'clock. I'm on the air at 10 p.m. Is Al Morghani coming in to do my shift for free? And I'm putting it on my time sheet. How is this whole thing going to play out? These are the questions we need to know on top of. How are you feeling heading into this Atlanta series? Are you fearless or fidgety? Because Al Morghani, I don't even know if Al can think about the baseball game anymore. After what I just laid out to him. No respect. What do you mean, dude? What do you mean no respect? Oh, I can't even use that word. If you're not going to play in a championship game to come into work for three hours shift. Four hours shift. Four hours shift. It's four hours. Get it up for football season. Now, Dion, you want to come in eat a sandwich for an hour or a while? Dude, you should talk to my wife. Because when I went home and I told her the situation, I was pissed. There were tears coming out of my face. I feel this. I'm wearing this.

But I had to make an executive decision. But that Wednesday at things could change. I can figure this thing out. I didn't miss the game yet. You know, I mean, Jesus, if Mitch called that out of some obligation, he'd probably skip out on his offing age too. Nobody would. No, I think he would. No, nobody would. If he had something to do by, he'd probably go, you know what, talk, listen. I appreciate all the nice comments you said publicly about my weight. But I need to go to Dubai and get a car under someone else's name and go do my thing. Man, if you don't play in that game, you have lost all credibility. And there's no limit. All of it. Oh, no. Oh, I'm sweating. I'm sweating. I'm nervous. That's horrible. I don't even know where to go from. Hey, I know you think I should go to play hockey. Forget that. Remove that to the side. How do you feel about the Phil's? Are you more fidgety or are you more fearless about this series against the Atlanta Braves coming up this week? Before game set, don't forget. First off, I just want to say, words, if you don't play in this game, just like I said, no respect.

That's a bad teamy. No, it's not horrible. It's a good WIP TV. It's a spike-esque. Well, there's no, look at the, they're not even on their own shows and you're going to come in and do that. Yeah, like you can't do that. Go see the Beastie boys. Fearless or fidgety for the series against Atlanta. Fidgety with my huge Douglas fidget spinner by the way. Oh, nice, nice. But no, I mean at the end of the day, I will admit I was wrong about the Phillies. I said they're out. I didn't trust them and they ended up proving themselves. Now, what I will say is I can own up to that. But at the same time, I still have a little bit of doubt when it comes to the pitching, the bullpen. Right? I think we can all agree on that. They need to perform well. Okay? Once they are locked into the postseason, I will feel fearless because at the end of the day when they're in the postseason for the most part and on always, they bring some magic. Okay. Okay. Okay. So you're going once you get it, you're almost waiting for the date to rip the bandaid off and just head in with a fearless attitude.

But until we get to that starting point, you're going to be uncomfortable. And I think that's how everybody should be in a sense, right? I mean, you can put a hundred percent of faith into this team right now as much as we want to because I do want to. But we can't ignore what we saw throughout the majority of the season. Well, let me ask you this then. Let's use your logic. Let's say you watch this group play over the next three weeks and they don't play to the obviously they're not going to keep up that August pace of 21 win. So if they play 500 ball the rest of the way, are you going to be fearless heading into the postseason when the date comes? Like if their September isn't pretty and let's say it's it's fine. It's not bad, but it's not great either. It's just it's okay. It's fine. Are you going to be fearless or is that fine play going to make you skeptical as we see our first round the opponent? Because my guess is you'd probably still be fidgety for being honest. Yeah, and it depends on, you know, what made them 500 right? Okay. What were the losses?

Was it because of the bullpen? Was it because of the lack of offense, the base running like there are certain factors that you need to judge this off of? It's really easy to say, yeah, you know, I'm going to be fidgety because it's 500 baseball. But at the end of the day, I mean, if you're losing these games due to, you know, problems that we've seen all season, of course I'm going to be fidgety, right? I don't understand fidgety. What do you mean? What is fidgety? It's fidgety. It's like cool. I can reach you the definition if you want. I can pull up the dictionary. Fidgety. Fidgety. I mean, if you're in a date with somebody that fidgety is not a good thing. No, it's not. Fidgety is not bad. It's bad. Fidgety is an adjective that means making small, continuous or restless movements because you feel nervous or impatient. Oh, so fidgety. I'm glad that we got that down at 10.52, one hour into the show. Did you not know what I was asking you throughout the process? I started to think about it. I'm like, well, I'm thinking, might be in fidgety. Have you never been fidgety before? Now, you got to have like emotions.

Okay. Well, I have a lot of this. You see all of you, fidget spinner. Yeah, that's what I was wondering about. Yeah. That's why you grabbed something. So when you're watching the Phillies, you can take these Hugh Douglas works of art. Yep. And you're going to have those while you're working. That's correct. While you're watching the game. I just need a 3D printer. All right. 215-592-90-494. What a first hour of this program. I need to know how you're, this is a big series, ladies and gentlemen. This is a monster, huge Phillies series. Unless, Alan, I misguided, or Fili fans, not that fired up for it. Are they not that excited? Oh, I don't know. I don't know if they are. Someone show a damn post out there and tell me why I'm an idiot. Part of the problem? What's that? It's a holiday. And like people are, it's a big series. It's a big series. It's a big series. Well, guess what? Eagles Cowboys is going to be on Thanksgiving. People are going to, I'm not watching. I got 30 to show up. That's the first season. This is people like, I want to get the last of the sand in my feet. Oh, stop it. Not with the series of this magnitude.

215-592-90-494. It's pro to now in for the midday show coming up next. Should we believe how we roseman when he says Jalen's hour? God, should we believe what he says publicly? Or is that just the name of the game? We'll get into it. It's pro to tell. It's 94-W-I-P.
