An Evil Doppelganger Tried to Kill Me! [Livestream 564]

0:00your host Josh Turner, this is PRT, join us in the real reality. And this is the real reality, guys. People say, well, you know, all this weird stuff and whatever, how is this real? How is this the real reality? What's the real reality? Because it happens to people. It happens to people, common people, regular people, people who work in grocery stores, which is where I met this person, Marla. And Marla's story, I'm going to get right into it. Marla's story is, it typifies this kind of, I don't know what you would call it. So she used to live in Georgetown. Okay. Not in Georgetown, we're outside of Georgetown. And my aunt has a ranch outside of Georgetown. So it's not actually when I look at the map, it's about four miles from there. Now if anybody remembers, you remember we were on the show, we did an impromptu live on

1:01Christmas Eve several months ago. And it started with, we heard like some noises mimicking us from the tree line at my aunt's ranch. And she has a lot of woods in the back and a big old pasture. And so we went for a ride on the gator, on the four wheeler, and we went out there and we went tromping around. And then when we got to a certain point of the ranch, everything cut off. Well, if you were to keep going from there where she lives and go further down, this is where Marla used to live. The fact that's where she grew up. She lived there from the time she was three years old and her and her family, I guess she said she wasn't quite three, so three years old, right? And that ranch house that they lived in was haunted. It only had one previous family.

2:04And that family lived there for five generations. Five generations of people lived in that house. And of course, Marla, she's only like 26 years old. So this isn't like ancient history. This didn't happen like years and years ago. Well, then what's it? So this wasn't like ancient history. You know what I mean? She actually had the last encounter she had was four years ago. Her parents lived there until 2022 and then they sold the place and they didn't sell it. They actually owned it so they rented it out. And now people have been living there. Two different groups, three little lived there. And I asked her about that. I said, what happened to the people that lived there after you? And she said, that's a tale for another time.

3:05That's what she said, a tale for another time. And I met her at a grocery store. Me and Anthony were in there. We were shopping. I came over who else? She worked there for a senior two or three times and gave them my card. She looked at the card that, what not her, but one of her friends that works there and put it up on the post-report in the back asking if anybody had any weird experience. And this happened to me at a Mexican restaurant, too recently. You got a really wild, crazy story from somebody who had my card and they did the same thing. They put it up in the back in their break room and I said, if you could just publish Tick a Tack at it and go to the back of the break room and see if anybody bites and says, hey, this happened to me. It's something weird and so I told her, anything weird that you might get that somebody might

4:07see, just let me know. And sure enough, several people messaged me and it was all the work of one person, that and I want to give you the credit for that. You've got to thank you for telling them about my show. And you and Mary. It was the other one too. Y'all were really interested in the show and in the stories and I appreciate y'all doing that and getting the people there to get on board. And it happened to us in a Mexican restaurant, too. We ended up with four different people who gave the stories from a Mexican restaurant that we like to go to over here in Austin, Austin City Park, border there. And they did the same thing. The manager was nice enough to put the card up and we got four different stories out of it from three different people. So thank you to them for doing that. And that guy's name was Luis who did that for us.

5:08But I appreciate it. So Marla was one and so it was actually Mary that reached out to me and she says, hey, there's a girl that works with us. She's going to contact you and I ended up having been checked out by this girl before. I knew she was. I said, I think I know who she is. She gave me a weird story. And so she went when she was looking at the card with her friend. She says, I know somebody who has a story of what's it called when somebody looks like you. I said, doppelganger. She says, yeah, I'm going to talk to her. She works here. So I went through there one time and I saw her there. And I said, you're Marla, right? She goes, yeah, she didn't know who I was. She hadn't looked at my show. I said, you're the one with the story. Mary and you bet told me she goes, really? They told you. And I said, yeah, there was another checker that was slow and it was almost closing time. And I had some groceries and stuff. The other one from the other check out came over and they both were standing there talking to me.

6:10And they started telling me that they had both had weird stuff happen. But Marla, her story was what we're talking about tonight was really intriguing. And we just did one about two weeks ago, right? What was it called? The Lost Encounters. And I was about a woman in Phoenix, Arizona who had something happen while she was working. And can we turn this? Here's a dry nose. The sealant there. I'm glad this studio has the sealant there. But some drama eyes a little bit. And so, Molly says, I'm going to tell you she goes, I almost died. I got attacked by a ghost. Well, people say ghost and they use that term loosely. Yeah, ghost. Was it a ghost? Well, I don't know. I know this. She did nearly die. But her brother was, he, and she said, by her name, her name was JJ.

7:14She said, JJ was my brother. We started talking. And she goes, and I loved him dearly. She's like, he was a very good guy. He passed away. But she said that JJ had something that followed him around. Now I asked her this question. I said, was he a twin? Because sometimes when people have twins, there'll be some weirdness that goes on. We talk about that on a show not too long ago about people who are twins. And they had, and there were two of them in this one family we talked about. And it was like some weirdness that was going on with these twins. And there was this werewolf type creature who was showing up. And one of the twins had built these crosses, these iron crosses, not the iron cross, like from pre-war war to Germany and war war to Germany.

8:16Like a crucifix? Like a crucifix, yeah. But it's like a cross. And they use railroad spikes and horseshoots and seem to help and keep these things at bay. The weird thing about it though is that it was the dead twin that died when they were born, who was born. His brother was born deceased. And they believe that he grew up alongside the living twin. And then it was two different ones. And that one family. So that's a weird story. That's a weird one. I believe it was down around Corpus. Maybe that was a different ranch. I can't remember exactly where it was at, but it happened. And this particular place where she grew up, she said that really the haunting was there, but it seemed to, in her words, latch on to her brother. She said, I never really did figure out why this entity, for whatever reason, attached itself to my younger brother, JJ.

9:17Her younger brother died in a car accident when he was in Tennessee. And Aaron, who was that to the city, it was South Carolina. And so what's crazy about this one here is she said he died very young. He was two years younger than her. But she said her first memory, we may not be able to get to everything. Where it's going to start from the beginning. Her first memory of something weird in that house, something not right. She was four years old. She says, and I remember it. You know, and it's weird because a lot of these younger people, they don't have the memories like the Gen X, do. And I believe it on certain things. But she said, I remember being four years old and this woman came into our room, but what was so weird about it, she shook me away and I looked up at her. And she had the, where the eyes were, get this, this is weird. She said it was the shape of a woman, but she had these really long talons like claws. And I thought her fingers were really long.

10:20She's like years later, I watched this movie about Freddie Krueger, you know, and she said the 80s movies, whatever. And she said, my mom, who grew up on these movies, she's like, you got to watch this, you know, whenever, check it out, it's scary, you know, and she goes, and that did it for me. I didn't want the horror movies. He had the long claws. He goes with the, with the metal. She said that this person had that, had these fingers that were like it, but this thing is entity was all black. But totally black, there was no light in this thing except for the eyes, where the eyes were. She said, I could see through the eyes and see like behind them, because when she moved to the curtains, she said, we had a very prominent night light in there. You know, it was me and my older sister. And she said, she was two years older than me. She goes, my little brother was about a year and a half younger, not quite the two years. Maybe a little over a year and a half.

11:21She said the night light, you know, you could see the curtains were this light blue. She goes on when this entity moved, or the corner of the foot of the bed. You could see through the eye slots, and it was light blue. She's like, and so I could see through and there was, that's where the eyes were. It was like this, it's weird. She goes, and then at one point, it squatted down and it was like pulling on my sister's bed, which she thought was just really weird, pulling on the covers. So she observed this entity and she said it happened about four times. Each time it was about two to three months apart, she said, there'd be two to three months to go by. This entity would come back. And then one time she goes, I remember when I was about six and my little brother was four. And he was already getting bigger and he wanted to sit in the high chair and he was four going on five. And my mom was like, you don't need a high chair.

12:21He's sitting in a regular chair and he starts screaming and trying to get into the high chair. And she says, my mom walked out of the room and this entity walked right by her. And the entity went up and it picked up my little brother in front of me and my other sister and set him down in the high chair. And my sister was stunned. We were looking at each other and we were like, what the heck was that? And she said, her sister's name is Beverly. And she said, Beverly and me looked at each other and we were like, why? We're like, what just happened? Mom comes back in the room and this entity went through the wall by the refrigerator and was gone. Her sister remembers this entity. Her little brother doesn't. Anytime, anytime something happened, the little boy was either asleep or whatever. She said that it was weird. My mom walks into the kitchen and they're all getting ready to eat. Whatever. Our dad, she's like, he was gone a lot. He worked in the oil fields and so he would come and be there.

13:23Then he'd be gone for a long time. Then he'd come back and be gone. She said, and it was just a yo-yo and eventually her parents got divorced. And they're out there on this ranch. She goes, and my mom's brother was there. He lived out there and he helped them because they had several head of cattle and some other things going on in the horse. And so they inherited this ranch and they just decided that they were going to do whatever. And she said that what's crazy, she said what's crazy is when we were living there, she said, I remember we're having weird, weird dreams and then being awake at times and not remembering whether or not, oh, is this a dream? Or am I awake? And this was like something that went on and on and it baffled her to no end. And it bothered her. She's like, I couldn't tell you whether or not I was dreaming, whether I was in the dream world or in it was a lot of times I would walk. So her parents told her and her sister told her that she would sleepwalk.

14:24And at one time she was sleepwalking and she was in the kitchen which seemed to be a center piece of her focal point of a lot of the center around the activity. She was swinging a knife, you know, not a big butcher's knife, but a little knife that she had and she was swinging in the air and her dad had to grab her and when he did, she cut his arm and for this day, he's got a nasty scar all there from that. And her dad's like my age. But gosh, she said it was horrible. She said that she had these weird dreams and that she would be fighting these creatures. I said, what do these creatures look like? She said one of them was like a bat light creature that would crawl around on the outside of our house and on the top of our house. And this happened regularly. Like there was this weird bat-like entity and she goes and I was battling with this thing. On a regular basis, this would happen. And she goes and then there was this other entity she goes and I don't remember it. I just called it the thing and it would slink around on the ground or sometimes I would

15:26call it the crawler. And I started asking her was it like a pale crot now? It wasn't like that. It was just this weird black worm-like thing. It would slink around almost like a caterpillar. And she remembers trying to kick it one day when her and her friends were there and her friends were there. And it was in the room and they were screaming and crying and it went under the bed. And she remembers it had like a human-like face on it. Which is just freaking creepy. So you're sitting there going like what is this? What are you seeing? So yeah, she had all these things happen. This was when she was real young. She had all these weird experiences. Her brother was in the high chair that day, right? The mom comes back in the room to the kitchen and the little boy was asleep. JJ was out. Freaking weird. Like okay, the mom leaves the room. This black shadow entity with the seat through eyes and it picks the kid up, puts it in

16:26the high chair and that's it. The kid goes to sleep. The brother remembers one brush with this entity. He remembers one time laying on his bed and he's feeling and hearing breathing. And then he said, thank you for that donation. We appreciate that. Allison, great job. Thank you so much. Appreciate it. Now if everybody else would do the same, then I wouldn't have to go to work in the middle of the rain and risk my life. But that's okay. Y'all can keep me broke. It's all good. I'm just selling my rings one by one to survive and my blood. It's no big deal. I'm going to do what I got to do for y'all. That's all right. I'm not saying I'm a saint or whatever, but yeah, pretty much. So you know, it just, what ended up happening? This entity, what it would do is it would go in there and it would tuck him into bed. And he don't remember it. He remembers laying in the bed and feeling breathing and then he felt arms like grabbing

17:29him. What they found out later on was that there was a woman that died there in that house during childbirth. She actually died there during childbirth. And they said that she was not necessarily a nice person in life. She was kind of mean and her children loved her, but she was exceedingly cruel to her husband. This is weird because her dad, right? Marla's dad was getting attacked when he would come home and it started fights between his mother, her mother and him because he really believed that she would slap him in the night when he was asleep and he would wake up and they'd be a fight and he was, why are you doing this? Well, there would make some little something would be said and then he would wake up to being slapped or pushed or even kicked. And for years, he blamed his wife and she said, well, I was asleep.

18:31So he said, hey, you need to go get checked out by a doctor. I think you're asleep. You're doing this in your sleep. And he was like, no, that's not, you know. And then the other thing that happened, there was a little boy who fell off of the roof. He didn't die there, but he died in the hospital. So he didn't die on the property. And this was like supposedly way back in like the 40s or something like that. The woman that died during childbirth, it was like in the early 50s. So it was a long time ago, but it did happen. And so there were some weird things that went on. And the little boy that died, his mother was the one that died in, like I think 1951, she says something like that. She died during childbirth and there was a little boy that was born and he went on to to live his life. And as far as I know, he's so alive. But she died.

19:31And she was really brokenhearted when her son passed away in the 40s when he was on the roof doing something, helping his dad. And supposedly she tried to unalive her husband. And she ended up going into an institution for that. And then she died during childbirth. So it was a whole story that they, you know, they pieced together. Hold on one second, folks. All right, folks. So sorry about that. So it was one of those weird things where you don't know what really is the cause of the haunting. It could be something like this. But then again, it could just be that the family, there was just something there. Remember it was though, it followed her brother for years. The first time she had the encounter with the doppelganger, she said, I was seven years old. She goes, and I'll never forget. I look over and I see my little brother and he's there playing in the hallway with his

20:36friend, you know, and they're running up and down the hallway. And she's like, he had a little friend that he would play with name Andy, who was a neighbor from a neighboring ranch. And he was a real kid. He wasn't no imaginary friend. And she said, and they were running up and down the hallway with this big truck, like a big talker truck. And she said, it was one of them old metal ones and his grandfather gave them the facts supposedly he played with it when he was a kid or something like that. I don't know, little bird, dad. But she said that they were playing with this truck and it was annoying. And she said, can y'all shut up? She goes, and then I look at my little brother. She's like, he's standing there in the hallway. She goes, I was like eight years old. When she was eight and the kid, he was like six, right? And so the kid was seven. And Andy walks up and says, oh, I'm sorry. And then her little brother pushes past her and he's standing there staring at her with this weird look on his face. And she looks over and she's like, like, you know, what? You know, like, we don't know how siblings are, you know?

21:37And he was not pretty short with them. And she's like, I'm like, what, you little bird? Get out of my room. And he's just like staring at her with this weird, you know, mouth and gait, like looking at her, like, you know, she's like, at that point, I got kind of nervous, you know? I could always beat him up, you know? There's a little scrawny kid. Thank you for that donation, Rehako. Rehako, I was coming through this little brother of her, JJ. He's like, he starts hitting his fists like, like, and she's just like, okay, you want to play? She goes, I get up. I get this stuff rabbit I have and I walk over and I go to smack him. She goes, and Andy had walked off. And when I hear talking in the hallway, she goes, and I swung at him and it went through him. And I looked and he was gone. And I was like, she's like, and then I looked down the hallway and there's Andy and JJ. And she said the weird thing was that JJ wasn't a bratty little brother. She goes, and, you know, when people die, you have a tendency to put them up on a pedestal

22:39or whatever. She goes, and after he died, maybe I sanctified him a little bit. But she's like, I don't remember, but maybe a handful of incidents between me and him. We didn't fight much. And my older sister got along with him even better than I did. I mean, they were pretty close. She's like, I was always kind of like more withdrawn and shy. But she said that my other siblings were always pretty close. And she had an older brother that was older than their older sister. And but he was, it was weird. And she goes, that was my mother's son from a previous marriage. And he was six and a half years older than my older sister. So by the time, you know, she was like six or seven. He was already 12, whatever. And he was always playing sports. And him and their dad, which was be his dad dad, because he raised the kid from birth basically, because his dad had died. And she said that they had a pretty good relationship. And so, you know, they would go fishing. And he was really close to my uncle who lived on the property. She's like, and so they were always out running around doing stuff.

23:40And she goes, and I remember him just being gone a lot with my dad and with my uncle. And she said that my mother came running into the hallway because she heard screaming and crying or whatever. One time, this is a different story. Came running out from the bedroom because she heard screaming and crying. And she looks in the hallway and her little brother, JJ, is standing there. And what appears to be their older brother was standing there. And then he, she's like, hey, Derek, it was his name. She's like, Derek. And he just walked out the, out the, out, and turned into the back bedroom, which was his bedroom. She said, it was a big house. We all had our own bedroom, it's four bedrooms. And she said me and my sister, chair to bedroom, but the boys had their own bedroom. And she said that it was, you know, it was okay. It wasn't like the most comfortable at times, you know, because she's sharing a bedroom with her sister. She goes, but then eventually her sister took the din because they converted it.

24:41And so she was like, I was nine. My sister took the din, she didn't want to be, you know, in the same bedroom with me. She was getting older, you know, she was going to puberty. She's like, I just don't want to be, you know, whatever. You know, every little thing I did aggravated her. So anyway, Derek, the older brother walks into the hallway, or he's in the hallway, and the little brother, JJ's crying. This is the one and only time she saw Derek when he wasn't really there. She's like, I pick my head around around the corner and my mother runs down the hallway and goes into the bedroom. Where are you at in Derek's not there? She's like, and then my dad, she's like, my dad calls. She's like, and I remember my mom like, what happened? She's like, she's like, Derek's with me. He's been hurt. He's in the hospital. Mother freaks out, calls her sister, comes over, takes care of the kids. She leaves. She runs off. Derek had fallen off of an ATV and had broken his shoulder. He was okay, but he was unconscious, temporarily, and gave him a back concussion.

25:45Here's the weird thing about that. Derek remembers going to sleep when going unconscious and waking up at the ranch house and trying to get his little brother's attention. And then even slapping his little brother on the back of it because he wouldn't listen to him. And his little brother just turned around and was like, hey, and cried. He goes, and then I got scared and I ran into my room. But that would be physically impossible for Derek to do that because Derek was laying there in a coma in the hospital. So how did Derek slap his little brother, but then they saw it. So that would that be a doppelganger, or was that Derek? I was at him. Yeah. So anyways, interesting, right? So then JJ says, this is what she told me from memory. She says, JJ was at a swimming pool one time with some friends at a pool party.

26:45And he began to drown because JJ was not a good swimmer. When they jumped into the pool, one of the kids, right, jumped into the pool to save him. And I don't know this kid's name, but he started to wrestle with what he thought was JJ. He said, and that kid nearly drowned because of JJ's flailing around and trying to do whatever. And get this. JJ was not in the pool. JJ was in the house eating cake. It was a birthday party. He comes out eating cake and they're like, if you're over here, then who the heck is this other kid trying to save? They look into the water. Three different children, two boys and a girl, saw what looked like a black tentacle mass wrestling with this other child. And there was another kid in the pool who had backed off and was looking at this. Then it was just gone. And these other kids were in shock.

27:45And they were like, what the heck was that? And then the parents were like, okay, so they told everybody down playing it. Oh, okay. Everybody just got a little riled up. You know, they thought it was whatever. That was an interesting story right there. JJ remembered that. He was just like, what the heck? And also he told his sisters, you know, and they told everybody. Another incident happened when she heard JJ crying in his room. And she said, I remember this because I was living in the room by myself now. And she's like, and so I came out of my room. And I heard crying and I go into JJ's bedroom. She's like, and I'm looking around. And she goes, and it's creepy, dude. She's like, it was like warm and our AC was out. And we only had a couple of portable air conditioner units, whatever. And she said that it was really hot. And his room was cold as ice. She's like in the air condition and there was off.

28:48So she didn't understand how his room got so cold. So she walks into the bedroom to kind of get a look at him. And she hears that. She looks around. What is that? Then she heard it. Thump louder. And she's like, and it was pouring rain outside. She's like, and she goes up to the window. And she's like, she goes, and then the curtain by itself on its own went up. And she saw JJ standing there outside in the rain, looking at her with this crazy look, a wild look on his eyes. A seven-year-old kid. She's like, and he's standing there. And it's my little brother. And he's standing there. And she's like, OK, what the heck? She turns around and sees him in the bed, looks back, and the one in the window is gone. I said to which one was where? She goes, I'm pretty sure I knew. But she said, my little brother is lightning.

29:49She said, my little brother is laying there in the bed. She goes, but then when I look down at him, here's the weird thing. She goes, you know how you kind of stare at somebody? She's like, this is kind of funny. She goes, you know how you kind of stare at somebody and they're breathing. And you're watching to make sure that they're breathing. And I was like, not really. Do you do that? Do you stare at people? And she goes, well, now I feel weird. I go, you should. Where can we go? You stalking. That is weird. Are you going into your boyfriend's room? She's, you know, she always says, that's nothing weird about that. Sure it is. I'm kidding. I mean, if you're a kid and you're worried about everybody dying all the time, I guess you're going to look at people. But she says, I looked down and I noticed something. I started staring at my little brother. He wasn't breathing. He was not breathing. So I freaked out. She goes and I panic. Start shaking him. I'm like, JJ wake up. JJ wake up. And she goes and then my mother comes running into the room. And she's like, what's going on? What is happening here?

30:49And she's like, I can't wake up, JJ. And his mother's like, what? But I was the light switch on, runs over to the bed. And then finally, he rolls his eyes like they're back up his head, you know. Wakes up and then he's okay. He's okay. But she goes, I told my mother he was not breathing. And my mother was holding him and kind of rocking it back and forth. And he was cold to the touch. And here's what's crazy. Her aunt used to actually be like kind of a, oh, I'm not kind as she was psychic. And the aunt told them that he that JJ was going to die young and he did. But not, but obviously he didn't die when he was a kid, but he died young in a car. The scary thing about it is that the mom was constantly seeing this other being, this doppelganger, whatever it was. And the scary thing was she goes, one time she goes, I drove to the grocery store.

31:49Her mother, I didn't talk to her, but I got to serve her, Marla. Marla says, my own mother drove to the grocery store with this doppelganger. And I'm like, what? She said, yes, she goes, yes. She's like years ago she goes, she was hurrying JJ to get in. You know, let's go blah, blah, blah, whatever, you know, a crazy story, right? So she could, in this habit, when JJ was like 12, she was like 14. There's another one that was just six out of my mind. Kind of hitting the highlights of this stuff here. She said, she was being rushed. She's like, hurry up, let's go. You know, you're, you're dragging whatever. And another interesting thing is, JJ was dyslexic. Like he had a few weird little ticks and he had OCD. And she said that he would be sitting there putting his shoes on, taking them off.

32:54And she said that, you know, he would take his shoes off, put them on, take his shoes, and it was just, you know, and so they were trying to break him of that. And her mother could be kind of, you know, grub. She goes, I gotta get to the grocery store. I don't have time for this kid's OCD crap. So she's telling him, you need to hurry up. Like, you need to hurry up, let's go. This is ridiculous, you know. And so, you know, she goes, he was like a, kind of like a subvolunt in some ways. Like he could do certain things really well, but then other things. And she goes, and he wasn't autistic because they had him checked, you know. And when he died, he was only 24 years old, right. And so, you know, she's in her late 20s now. And she's like, this, so this wasn't that long ago when he passed away. And she's like, yeah, it was only like a few years ago, whatever. So, he was, yeah, he was 24, right. Yeah, 23, when he died. And she said that he would have been 24, right. And then he died like right before or whatever.

33:55But what she said was crazy. She said, when you, when he was like real small, sometimes he would, he would say weird things, like they'd be in the car. And he would say, my shadow chases me. And they would be like, what? Like, what's wrong with this kid? What do you mean your shadow chases you? What kind of weird stuff is that? Like, but kids say weird stuff, man. Like they say some weird, really wild stuff. And I remember, like me and my wife were talking one time. And she was talking about how, and I did the same thing when I was a kid. I would say weird stuff for freaking adults out. And I don't even remember all of it, but I know that I used to do it. And my wife said that she did too. And her sister did. Like, you know, it's just something that, you know, and I know you and your sister used to say weird stuff. You just blurt stuff out and be like, because one time you told me you were an alien. And I was like, what? And what is this kid saying this? And I'm over there like playing a video game or whatever.

34:57And we were all taken turns. But it was my own car. And you were like, I like him. It was the weird guy with a little mask, the shy guy. And you were like, he's an alien. And I'm like, is he? And you were like, I'm an alien. And you try and looked at me. You were like, and I was like, okay. And that was the only time he told me, you told me that again later on. You said that you were an alien. You said in front of your grandma. And she was just like, oh, this kid, you know, maybe I am. Kids say weird stuff. I mean, and who knows? Maybe you were an alien or something. I mean, there's weird stuff that goes on. But this guy, he, she's trying to hurry him to get in the car or whatever. Like I said, he was like 12 years old or something like that. And, um, yeah. So what happens? He gets in the car, slams the door really hard. Mom takes all going down this long gravel road to get to the main road. And then the main road gets to the highway. And then they're all for the ghost story. She's talking to him and she's like, do you want to play your music?

35:57Because he had certain music he liked, whatever kid music. And he's just like, it's staring straight ahead angry. His fists clenched. And she's like, hey, how's wrong with this kid? You know, she's driving. She's like, my mom, eventually she gets tired of it. We get to the ghost story. He won't get out of the car. Right? My oldest sister is with them. She's in the front seat. She's in the back seat. If she liked to lay back, you know, and whatever. And so she gets out. They're getting going into the store. This kid sitting there staring straight ahead angry. She goes, okay, you know what? She rolled the window down, told them, stay on the car. I figured, no, mom is mad. She goes into the store and she's like, can't leave them out. There's somebody could have ducked them. He's a little scrawny kid, you know, whatever. Older sisters like, who cares? Let them, you know, take him. Who cares, you know, whatever. She goes to walk back outside and she gets a call.

36:59She looks down at the phone and it's her husband's phone. She answers the phone and he goes, hey, he goes, I guess, I guess me, JJ and Derek are just going to, you know, we're going to make sandwiches. We'll have them ready when you get here. And she goes, well, JJ's with me. He's out in the car, pounding. And her dad, her husband's like, what? What do you mean JJ's in the car? JJ's right here next to me. And he's like, hi, mom. She can hear him. And he's like, well, he was, he was supposed to go to the store with me. She's like, and she's like looking at the, in the car and there's nobody in the car. And she's like, are you sure? He's like, I am positive that he is right here for your hand in the phone. And he's like, hey, mom, she recognized his voice. And she was like, okay. So she walks back in the store and she tells, you know, her daughter, she's like, I am going to say that we're losing our minds.

38:01She's like, JJ's with his papa. That's what they called him, papa. He's with his papa and everything is okay. And then, Mima and Grandpa come over, right, to visit. This is another incident that happened. And it's Christmas time and everybody is opening presents and doing whatever. JJ's standing over in the corner looking, but he's not participating. Momma and dad look over and they're like, JJ, why don't you come and grab your presents and he walks out of the room going down the hallway. And they're like, his grandpa's like, well, what the hell's wrong with this kid, you know? And then at that time, they hear laughter in the kitchen and him and his cousins are in there. He comes running out of the kitchen. The grandfather and all the moms father and all the husband see this. The kids were all too busy doing what they were doing.

39:01And JJ had gone into the kitchen to grab some cookies. Because back out and they're like, is everything okay? Yeah. Yeah, dad goes to inspect and he said this is what he said to his sister Marla, his daughter Marla. He says, I go down the hallway. I'm looking in each and every room and I go into JJ's room. The door was closed and I didn't see her here at open. His door was like it made noise, you know? And he said, and I see feet sticking out under the bed. This part's freaky and he's like, he goes, he goes, I was too terrified to go and get this, whatever that was. He runs back in there and he tells his brother or his brother-in-law, right? Hasn't been his wife. He's like the adults get up and they're like, he goes, come here, I want to show you something. They go to the bedroom. There's nothing there.

40:02They're like, his brother-in-law in particular is like, what are we looking at? He goes, nothing, nothing. We thought we saw JJ, but now he's not, whatever. And the brother was like, okay, it kind of punches him and then walks off. And we kind of laughed about that. Marlissa that she was standing there with her sister and they just kind of looked at their uncle and they were like, go on kids, go, you know, we're good, we're good. So her dad goes and sits on the bed. He had had a few weird encounters in that house, but he was still convinced that most of it was just, you know, everybody's imagination to run wild, right? He goes, sits on the bed and he feels something tucked back at his ankle and he's sort of jumping up and freaking out. He pulls his foot like that. He looks down and he says, show yourself. Nothing. Then he says it again. He says, show yourself. And he looks down and he sees this little boy with the face tilted upward.

41:03Like his head was turned like, you know, the way his head was turned, it's like you can't physically turn your head that way. He was like this, you know, on his force and looked up, turned at him and he could see through his eyes like how they described the woman. But he was like formed like a person but not quite. Like you could see through his hands and then his mouth was wide open and he just screamed at this man and he gets up and runs out of the room. And he's like falling and banging into the walls and knocking pictures down. And nobody heard the scream. It's that whole pocket reality thing we've talked about. He gets down into the into the living room where all the festivities are and he sits down and he's white at whatever. And his dad, the kid's grandfather, Marla's grandfather is like, Son, you look like you see it goes. He goes, ah, you know, maybe I did.

42:04It's Christmas time. Maybe it was a scrooge. You know, she said, my dad looked pale. We thought something was wrong. He went and sat down in the kitchen and she said he looked like he was going to faint. And she said, remember the kitchen, there was some weird stuff that went on the kitchen. She's like one of the craziest stories, too. Her older sister walked into the kitchen. She thought that she saw JJ drinking milk. He was just, she said, he would always do this and they were like, JJ, why are you drinking milk, how the cart? Nobody wants your nasty mouth on the line. And then she says, he turns around and he's got like this milk all over his face. He drops the milk on the ground. His eyes roll back in his head and then he falls backwards and she's like, JJ and she goes to try to catch him and she slips on the milk. And when she falls, twists her knee real bad and her ankle, she looks around and there's no JJ. She gets up, she looks everywhere.

43:06Then she right there on the counter says, hey, me, Marlon and JJ went to the store, love you, we'll be back. Derek comes out of his room, you know, he's in their playing video games, like, what are you doing? She's like, you know, you're there with your stupid headphones, probably even heard me start screaming yelling at him like he did something and he's like, well, she's like, I just something happened. Then he says, okay, well, I'm here if you need me and he goes back to his room. She knocks on his door and tells him, hey, I cleaned up a bunch of milk because what I thought was JJ was in there drinking it. It wasn't him. And he's like, takes his headphones off in a moment of clarity. And says, has a little gamer chair, you know, he spins it around and he's like, looking at her. And this is the story that was given to me, you know, and I'm just giving you the deeds, right? Doesn't matter. But he listens, you know, and what I was told about this by Marla was that he was one of the last

44:15people to really believe it. But he says last night, JJ came into the bedroom with me and he was kept grabbing my controller. I was up late and I was, you know, playing video games on my computer and he kept grabbing my controller and then he punched the screen. So I got up and I smacked a little turd, you know, whatever, get off my computer, whatever. He's like, he's like, usually you go flying, you know, he's like, he's a little boy, he's a little kid, you know, he's like, he's like, he's like, nothing. Maybe remember, it's like eight years older than him. And this kid's a teenager, this kid's a little boy, right? He goes, it was like hitting a solid wall. Nothing happened. He just, it was like, I hurt my hand hitting him. He was, I went like that. And he just stood there and when I hit him, it was like hitting something really solid like, like a brick. He goes and then I stood there and then he just started greeting his teeth and he's like,

45:18now he starts like growling and making this weird animalistic noise. He's like, and I got really genuinely scared and I ran out of the room. Then Marla is 15 years old, JJ's 13. She's laying in her bed one night watching TV. Now he didn't know if that was really JJ or not. He just said that this was not, he didn't believe it was after what the older sister just said probably not. So he is laying in his bedroom, sound asleep. JJ is asleep, right? Marla walks down the hallway. She's telling everybody good night. They had just gone to Schlitterbond. I don't know if you know what Schlitterbond is, but it's the world's largest water park. It's in New Brombo, Texas. And it's, it's not super far from Georgetown, but it's not like right next door. But after the playing in the water and in the sun for 10 hours, whatever, and then the long ride back or forth,

46:20how would have ride in the traffic probably? They're wiped and they're all sunburned. And she's just like, I am exhausted. I walk by his bedroom and I go, can I, JJ, he's already out. And she's like, okay, he left his light on. She went, turned his little TV off, turned the light off. She said, about one in the morning, I wake up and there's just pressure on me and I look up and I see my little brother sitting on me, straddled over me, looking at me. And she's like, JJ, I remember, no, they're not little kids anymore, right? And she's like, he's like a little teenager, young teenager, whatever. She's like 15, whatever. And she's like, get off of me. And he's like, and then she's like, get off of me. And he just starts choking her, grabs his little hands, it just starts choking her. And she said, I, you know, he was such a scrawny kid. And he never remembers any of this. Like so it probably, you know, wasn't, you know,

47:21is choking her. And she's grabbing his little hand. She goes, I couldn't get a grip off of his little fingers. She's like, and then I started realizing I can't breathe. I can't breathe. He's killing me. And so she laid there in the bed. And eventually she says, I started to go black. She goes, and then I hear a voice from the doorway saying, get off her. And then she goes another JJ, I look over with what little bit of conscious as I have left. And he tackles this entity. And then there's she, she's like, laying there trying to get her breath. And she hears like punches and things being done. She said, here's where it gets weird too. Or gets confusing. She's like, I eventually get up. I set up on the bed and I look over and JJ is wrestling with this other JJ. This other JJ is just, he's not wearing a shirt. It's just like shorts cut off shorts, which JJ would wear sometimes. And then the other JJ is just in his little underwear, you know,

48:25and she's like, what in the heck is going on here? And she said that she couldn't really tell which one was which, but then one of them crawled under the bed. And she jumped off of the bed and looked under the bed. And she saw just a pair of eyes looking back at her red eyes. So she goes over and she tells the other one, which she knew at that point, she got him up off the ground. He's like beat up. They go out into the hallway and start screaming for help. The dad is asleep. And on the recliner, he just crashed out watching TV sports center, whatever. She said he would always watch sports center. Said he got up and was like stumbling down the hallway. What's going on? And she's like, I just got attacked by JJ. And he goes running over there and he goes, what? Getting onto him, you know, and she's like, but it wasn't him. It was something else. At this point, her dad had seen it, right? What her dad said, well, okay. So her dad goes into the bedroom, looks around, looks under the bed, slowly. Nothing jumpscare. Nothing happens. Goes out into the hallway. It says, are you okay?

49:33She's like, yeah, he's choking. Her red marks on her neck. And she's like, well, how did he get beat up? Then that's when it got confusing. JJ said that he goes, she was hitting me. And he's like, she's like, what? I didn't hit you. She goes, yeah, he goes, yeah, I was on the ground and you were hitting me. She goes, no, no, there was another you did that, whatever. And he goes, I thought it was you. He goes, I came into the bedroom and I saw you flailing around with your hands on your throat. And then I saw this shadow that was kind of on top of you. She's like, and then I went up and I pushed it, but I fell through it and I stumbled over you. You got off the bed and started hitting me. And she was like, that is not what happened. So the dad was like, well, whatever happened. And then he just kind of refereed it. Their mom was asleep on the couch. She got up and came

50:34stumbling in there. They're all tired from being a slurping. And she's like, what in the heck happened? That was the story. And they just ended up being that. That was it. Well, there's another story that we're going to talk about. But that one I'm going to put on dead zone transmissions. That's going to be coming up on dead zone transmissions. It's a short story, but we're going to do a few short stories. There's one that my grandmother, about my grandmother called the light from beyond. It's a short one. I've never really told that one. I don't think. So I mean, I'm going to tell that one on the dead zone transmission. So be looking for those stories. They'll be coming out on DZT, which is Nellie's channel. 53:45Yes. This is going to be great content. You're rubbing your hands. Yeah. Tell us the story. My audience loves your suffering. No, it's not like that. I mean, you know, and what's cool about it too is like when I talk to Marla, you know, she gave me all this. She gave me more stuff than that. But that's what I'm going to be able to talk about tonight because I got to go to work. I get to get started. But she was able to say, you know, like talk about all of it together. She said, this is the first time and she goes, and maybe the only time that she goes, that I've ever been able to fully talk about all of this. And she goes, and my boyfriend, she's like, he was tired of hearing different stories about this. But she's like, what being able to sit here and talk to you for two and a half hours. It wasn't even quite two and a half might have seemed like it, but it was a little over two hours. And she was just machine gun telling them and I would be like, oh, I hold it slow down. So I could write down just a note, you know, and it

54:46was she had a lot. She had a lot of stuff. And this poor kid, you know, he had something following him around. And there was other stuff that happened to this kid. And he eventually did see the doppelganger. But he didn't, yeah. Now, I mean, his older brother had like, like, I think one encounter with it or whatever, too, whatever. But he didn't have, he had one, like, I guess, violent one is what it was. And then on the after, it was none of them were scary, really, to him, I guess, because he didn't know that that wasn't his brother, you know. But yeah, digger says, wolf, how long did this go on for? Oh, for years, because I guess they started seeing the woman, right? You know, and so it kind of reminds me of a story we got called the watching lady. I don't think we've told that one. Oh, no, we've told it. I don't think we called it that. But the headline on the email is

55:50watching the watching lady or watching woman. And if you do send me stories, give me a little title or something that'll catch you if you really want to grab my attention, you know, like people say, well, I sent you a story. You didn't even, probably, all there's multiple have done that. And I hate that people have to sit there and type up, don't, don't type up an entire story. Right? Wait for me to get back with you. So you don't have to waste your time because people don't like type it up an entire story that I don't use it. So we can communicate, just type up like something with a at the cliff notes. Yeah, the synopsis of it. Say, this is what's going on here. You know, can you whatever, you know, the vampire book finally. All right. So my brother declared victory today. He said, we're done. But we're not because there's one other thing I wanted to put in there. And he's going to squeeze it in there. We're going to get it done. When that is done, then we will
