Sixty-seven percent of those survey predict prices will worsen over the next year, including 44 percent of Republicans and 85 percent of Democrats. Meanwhile, 60 percent believe U.S. involvement in the conflict will stretch out for a long time. The online poll wrapped up on Monday and reached over 1,000 adults nationwide. It highlights worries about energy costs amid rising tensions. Gas prices have already jumped about 50 cents a gallon since the strike started. At least seven U.S. soldiers have been killed so far. These changes hit hard because fuel costs affect everyday budgets for so many families. The operation kicked off February 28th, with coordinated U.S. and Israeli attacks that took out Iran's leader.
