A mystery disease known as the gayes that has killed so is... So is all businesses that cater mainly to homosexual events, may have been affected with the AIDS virus. It was a blasted in his bedroom. In the 1980s and 90s, America's gay community was living in crisis. The AIDS epidemic had spread and virtually gone ignored and unchecked by the federal government. There were endless political campaigns to limit their rights and queer people were constantly targeted for violence. Then, in 1991, a twisted serial killer began stalking the gay bars of New York City. He took men home, murdered them, and dismembered their bodies, scattering their remains by road sides and unforests. For a while, few people paid attention to the murders, and those who did notice what was happening were met with an apathetic local police force. As the death count rose higher, so did the panic.
