CCTV captured the quick attack on April 19th last year, where Snushi grabbed the victim's arm and yanked off the watch in under two seconds. Before fleeing, earlier this week, Snushi appeared at Southern Crown Court, admitting to two counts of theft, with help from an Arabic interpreter. He was remanded and custody ahead of sentencing on April 23rd. Watch thefts have surged in the city, with over 5,180 luxury timepieces worth more than 3,000 pounds each stolen. From January 2022 to July 2025, these crimes often involve organized groups, many linked to Algerian nationals who target affluent people in upscale areas.
