Alex Goy goes to Dakar featuring Mitch Guthrie Jr

This week’s episode of The Driven Podcast takes you far from the warm confines of a studio and puts you… in a warm desert to hear the sounds of the Dakar Rally. You’ve likely heard of the Dakar, but you actually heard it? As well as being there to hear the cars thunder by, we get inside the Ford team to learn about the top tier T1 Raptor.

Alex Goy ventured out into the sands to see what’s what in all things Dakar. From discovering the perfect way to tackle the rally (it’s a bit gross but WOULD work), hearing what a T1 truck sounds like at full pelt, to sitting down with the Ford M-Sport team to learn how to peel a Rally Raid truck apart, and what it’s like to drive, it’s quite the adventure. Guests this week include Driver Mitch Guthrie Jnr, off-road programme manager - Mike Norton, Chief Engineer Jon Sprackling and team principle Mathew Wilson.
