Alec Bohm takes early struggles to St. Louis

Alec Bohm hit a rocket to Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies in his first at-bat on Thursday night in Atlanta.

Albies caught it. Bohm flipped his bat. Bohm went 0 for 5 in the Phillies’ 4-2 loss in 11 innings at Truist Park. He is batting .160 with no home runs, three RBIs and a .356 OPS in his first 11 games. He is struggling. It shows. He has looked frustrated on the field. He twice declined to speak to reporters before the game. We get into Bohm’s struggles, and some of the overreaction to it.
